Marc Leishman turned pro in 2005 and competed on the Von Nida Tour in 2006, winning two events and finishing first in the order of merit. He finished 92nd on the money list in his first season on the Nationwide Tour in 2007.

In 2008, Leishman won his first Nationwide Tour title, the WNB Golf Classic, by a record-tying eleven shots. Leishman finished the year in 19th place on the money list, earning him a PGA Tour card for the 2009 season.

Marc Leishman and Audrey Hills were married in the year 2010. Marc and Audrey met in a tavern in Williamsburg, Virginia.

Audrey became critically unwell five years after Audrey and Marc married, with physicians fearing sepsis. On the other hand, Audrey developed the toxic-shock syndrome, a rare, life-threatening consequence of some bacterial infections.

Following their trauma, Audrey and Marc established the Begin Again Foundation in 2016 to save lives via sepsis and toxic shock syndrome education and awareness, providing financial aid to survivors and families, and supporting communities during times of crisis.

Audrey and Marc founded the Begin Again Foundation in 2016, as well as Leishman Lager. It is available in Virginia Beach, and a portion of the proceeds benefit the Foundation.

Marc Leishman and his wife, Audrey Hills, have three children. Harvey, Oliver, and Eva Leishman are their children’s names.

In terms of Marc’s early life, he was born in Warrnambool, Victoria. Marc had a very successful amateur career in Australia, winning several junior competitions.

As a 13-year-old, Leishman won the Warrnambool Club Championship in the same group as his father. Leishman won the Victorian Junior Masters, the South Australian Junior Masters, and the Victorian Boys title in 2001.

In 2009, Marc was named Rookie of the Year after posting three top-10 finishes, including a runner-up result behind Tiger Woods at the BMW Championship, the third of four FedEx Cup playoff events.

Marc went on to qualify for the season-ending Tour Championship. Marc finished the year as the 53rd richest person in the world.

Marc won the Farmers Insurance Open in January 2020, his fifth PGA Tour victory. Marc came behind to beat Jon Rahm by one stroke in the final round, shooting a final-round 65.

Marc won the Zurich Classic of New Orleans in April 2021. Leishman was paired with Cameron Smith, a fellow countryman, and defeated Louis Oosthuizen and Charl Schwartzel in a playoff.
