A source shared an update after Teddi Mellencamp’s recent brain surgery, and they claimed that she has a “long, tough road” ahead. Meanwhile, Teddi wrote her first Instagram post since the surgery.

Earlier this month, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum revealed she was diagnosed with multiple tumors in her brain. She soon had surgery to remove some of them. In the past two years, Teddi has also been open about her battle with melanoma.

The Bravo star has three kids with Edwin Arroyave, who she’s now divorcing. But a recent report indicated that they’re pausing the divorce as Teddi recovers from surgery.

“All the Housewives called [Teddi] and sent flowers and let her know they’re praying for her,” said an insider speaking to In Touch.

The source shared that the surgery went well, but a “long, tough road” still lies ahead of her.

Around the same time, Teddi wrote an Instagram post amid her recovery to celebrate her daughter Dove‘s birthday.

“Happy birthday to my miracle baby. Hard to believe it’s been 5 years since you made our lives better and brighter,” said Teddi in the caption, alongside a photo montage of Dove throughout the years. “But no matter how grown you get, you’ll always be My Baby Dovey ❤️.”

The birthday tribute was her first post since revealing her diagnosis on February 12.

“For the last several weeks I’ve been dealing with severe and debilitating headaches. Yesterday the pain was unbearable and required hospitalization … After a CT scan and MRI, doctors found multiple tumors on my brain, which they believe have been growing for at least [six months] … Two of the tumors will be surgically removed today — the remaining smaller tumors will be dealt with via radiation at a later date,” she wrote at the time.

“I am blessed to be surrounded by my children, family, friends, doctors, nurses[,] and surgeons who are doing everything possible to get me back into better health,” Teddi added. “Thank you to everybody who has reached out, and to everyone who has supported me along this journey.”

New episodes of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills air Tuesday nights on Bravo.
