Brittany Cochran, a culinary artist hailing from Columbus, Ohio, currently holds the esteemed position of Executive Chef at Stagioni in Charlotte, North Carolina. Her culinary journey has also led her to the spotlight as a contestant on Top Chef 2025. Brittany’s passion for food was cultivated in her formative years, thanks to her grandparents’ garden, where she embraced the farm-to-table philosophy that continues to inspire her culinary creations today.
Her journey in the culinary arts began in earnest after she graduated from Johnson & Wales University in Charlotte, earning a degree in Culinary Arts and Food Service Management. Driven by ambition, Brittany moved to New York City at the young age of 21, where she secured her first significant role under the guidance of Chef Marc Forgione. Eager to expand her expertise in coastal Italian cuisine, she also honed her skills at the prestigious two-star Michelin restaurant, Marea.
Eventually, Brittany returned to Charlotte, stepping into the role of Executive Chef at Stagioni. Here, she skillfully showcases authentic Italian cuisine, emphasizing seasonal and handmade ingredients. Renowned for her butchering skills and remarkable speed in the kitchen, Brittany excels under pressure, delivering each dish with precision and passion. Beyond her culinary endeavors, Brittany dedicates time to noble causes, serving as the chef chair for the Cookies for Kids Cancer Foundation and volunteering for Meals on Wheels.
