Talk about a vacation spoiler.
A furious California father says his family’s Central Florida theme-park getaway was “ruined” after his 3-year-old daughter discovered a sex toy inside their condo — and claims the resort failed to treat the disturbing incident seriously.
Mike Gross and his family had reserved a four-day stay at Holiday Inn Club Vacations’ Orange Lake Resort in Kissimmee.
“It looked great and had good reviews — that’s why it was so shocking,” Gross told The Post.
On the second night of the stay, Gross said his young daughter approached him from behind carrying what she called a “present” that she had found in a drawer.
The item was a six-inch vibrator.
Gross said he was horrified, but calmly washed his daughter’s hands before scrubbing his own.
After putting their daughter and 5-year-old son to bed, Gross and his wife, Angela, quickly searched the condo for any other adult items.
Gross then called the front desk and said he was assured someone would contact him right away.
No one did.
Taken aback, Gross tried again to reach resort management.
By the following day, he still had not heard from staff and began to feel that his complaint was being ignored.

“At first we were laughing about it, trying to have a sense of humor,” Gross said. “What made me so mad was their total lack of concern.”
The next day’s visit to Disney World was far from the experience Gross had expected.
“I couldn’t enjoy myself,” he said, describing the resort’s inaction as a failure to address a potential biohazard. “How can they not care?”
Later, Gross went to the resort lobby, placed the used sex toy on the desk and loudly demanded an explanation.
“By that time I was so mad I was shaking,” he said. “Everyone was staring. You could have heard a pin drop.”
Gross said he eventually spoke with a manager, but described the response as decidedly inadequate.
Three weeks later, the resort responded with a $1,300 offer, provided Gross agreed not to post reviews, discuss the “incident” or contact government agencies.
“No way I was taking that deal,” he said.
Instead, he took his daughter to a doctor for testing.
“Everyone makes mistakes,” he said. “But ignore the situation and the potential danger, now you’re gonna have a pissed-off dad.
“Holiday Inn will never get my business again.”
A spokesperson for Holiday Inn Club Vacations told The Post: “We are aware of this unfortunate situation and regret that it fell short of the experience our guests should expect. We take this matter seriously and addressed it with the appropriate resort teams. As this involves a specific guest matter, we are unable to comment further on private discussions.”
