Sharon Osbourne has opened up about a botched cosmetic procedure, recalling that she woke up with an “indentation” in her face.
During Thursday’s episode of The Osbournes podcast, her son Jack Osbourne asked whether she had ever felt “scared” before undergoing surgery. Sharon replied with a joke: “I have when I’ve woken up and seen the mistakes.”
The 74-year-old television personality then described one procedure that left the area from her upper lip to her chin “this color black,” while gesturing across her face.
“I have an indentation left from it,” Sharon said, recalling her immediate reaction: “What the hell?”
She theorized that the surgeon may have left a “mate” in charge of the procedure while he “took a phone call.”
Sharon said she returned to the surgeon to “complain” about the outcome. “You go, ‘What is in this that you’re injecting me with?’” she recalled asking, before being told, “Don’t worry. It’s my special concoction. It’ll work.”
But, Sharon added, “it didn’t f–king work,” leaving her with what she described as a “dent.”
Jack and his wife, Aree Gearhart, both told Sharon that they “don’t see” the alleged indentation.

Sharon responded sarcastically that it was “not like I earned my living out of my f–king face,” while acknowledging that choosing to undergo the procedures was ultimately “her choice.”
She also explained how cosmetic procedures can create pressure to keep altering other parts of the body.
“You have your face done. You’ve got a tight face,” Sharon said. She explained that she avoids showing her arms because they are “wrinkly and marked” and “the skin’s going.”
“It’s like, what about the rest of you?” she continued. “And then you’ve got a face that looks 50, and your body looks your age.”
Sharon also described the recovery from cosmetic procedures as “brutal.” When Jack asked whether she was finished having work done on her face, she replied, “Oh Jack. Who am I doing it for now?” — seemingly referring to her late husband, Ozzy Osbourne.
This is not the first time Sharon has discussed her experiences with plastic surgery. In 2023, after years of cosmetic procedures, she said she was swearing them off following a 2021 facelift that left her looking “like a f—king Cyclops,” as she previously told the Sunday Times.
“That one put me off and it frightens me,” she told the Sun in April 2023. “I really f–king pushed it with the last facelift and I am now like, no more.”
She added, “Time is against me, I cannot have another facelift.”
