“Kendal Daniels is alert and has movement in all his extremities. He was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital for further evaluation,” the Falcons said in a statement posted on social media.
Falcons defenders knelt nearby as Daniels received treatment, with the team’s entire sideline eventually gathering on the field in support. Several Bears players also took a knee during the lengthy stoppage. Daniels was ruled out of the game with a neck injury.
A fourth-round selection from Oklahoma, Daniels had started six games for Atlanta this season and entered Sunday with 22 tackles.
