Ocala Teen Arrested in July Investigation of Armed Suspects

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Arthur John Stallion Jr., 18, of Ocala, faces a charge of possessing a firearm as an adjudicated delinquent under age 24 after Gainesville police investigated a reported gun display at the MLK Jr. Multipurpose Center on July 7.

Gainesville Police Department officers were called to the MLK Jr. Multipurpose Center at 1100 NE 14th Street at about 3:51 p.m. The victim told investigators that she and her family had just arrived at the park when she saw 18-year-old Antwon Towns walking toward her with a group of males.

The victim said she started recording the encounter. According to her account, Towns lifted his shirt to reveal a black firearm tucked into his waistband and threatened her, making her fear for her life. She said Towns then walked behind the MLK Center and returned a short time later without the weapon.

A GPD K-9 team searched the area behind the building and reportedly recovered two firearms: a black Taurus G2C and a “distinct beige/brown” Glock 48 9mm equipped with black sights.

Towns was arrested July 7 on charges of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and unlawful concealed carry of a firearm. He was arrested again September 3 and charged with two counts of possessing a firearm or ammunition as an adjudicated delinquent.

Following the incident, a GPD detective reviewed Stallion’s social media accounts and found “numerous” photos and videos that allegedly showed him holding different firearms. One video posted July 6 reportedly depicts Stallion holding a black pistol and a beige/brown Glock 48 with black sights. The detective said the setting appeared to be inside the residence where Stallion was living at the time.

The detective also reported that Stallion is a confirmed member of the 4BL/1900 gang.

Stallion is charged with possession of a firearm by an adjudicated delinquent under age 24. Justice Support Services identifies him as a Vanguard High School student in Ocala who has a juvenile conviction from 2023. He was also arrested in Marion County in September 2026 after Vanguard school resource officers allegedly saw him with a vape in a school bathroom. Investigators said he disposed of the vape after officers asked him to leave the stall, then pulled away from officers in the school office. He initially faced charges of tampering with evidence and resisting an officer without violence, but the tampering charge has since been dropped.

Judge Adam Lee set bail at $150,000 on the new firearm charge.
