Rick Devens is standing beside his number one ally as she faces a major health challenge.
Rather than competing in the Big Brother house, Rick is now supporting his loved ones much closer to home after his wife, Becca Devens, was diagnosed with breast cancer.
In an Instagram video posted Oct. 25, Becca jokingly compared the announcement to a political address. “We feel like politicians right now,” she said, explaining that they wanted to share the important news before she underwent surgery.

“So, Rick won Big Brother,” Becca added, prompting Rick to clarify, “That’s not the news, though.”
Becca went on to reveal that she received the breast cancer diagnosis after she and Rick returned from the CBS competition’s finale night on Oct. 1.
“So, that sucks,” she said. Becca explained that regular mammograms helped doctors catch the cancer early and that she is preparing to undergo a double mastectomy. Because the disease was detected at an early stage, she said the couple believes surgery may be the only treatment she needs.
