A Florida woman allegedly tracked down her boyfriend after he took her car to meet another woman, then fired a pink Glock into the vehicle, striking the woman inside and telling police she wanted to “make a point,” authorities said.
Katherine Kelly, 25, had previously messaged her boyfriend, Elijah Baker, saying she believed he was being unfaithful. According to a police report obtained by Space Coast Daily, Kelly also threatened to shoot someone.
Her suspicions intensified Friday night when Baker took Kelly’s Volkswagen out for a drive.
Kelly, who lives in Cocoa, tracked the vehicle’s location and ordered an Uber to Port St. John, where Baker had parked. Police said she found him inside the car with another woman, Angel Adenau.
Investigators said Kelly then fired a pink-and-black Glock through the passenger side of the vehicle, hitting Adenau in the shoulder. Police did not disclose the severity of Adenau’s injuries.

Kelly initially told authorities she had acted in self-defense. Investigators said she later acknowledged that she fired the weapon to “make a point” about Baker’s alleged infidelity.
Kelly faces a charge of attempted first-degree murder, an offense punishable by up to 30 years in prison.
Inmate records also list charges of aggravated battery with a weapon and shooting into a vehicle.
