Savannah Chrisley is pushing back against criticism of her pregnancy and engagement to convicted fraudster Jason Galanis, fiercely defending her unborn child amid the public backlash.
The “Chrisley Knows Best” alum shared a sonogram on her Instagram Stories Tuesday and said her baby was worth enduring the intense public scrutiny surrounding her personal life.
“You are not a headline. You are not a controversy,” Chrisley wrote. “You are not defined by anyone’s past, anyone’s mistakes, or anyone’s opinions.”
She described her child as “innocent, deeply loved and the greatest blessing” to both her and her fiancé.
“No amount of noise in this world will ever overshadow the joy of being your mama,” she added.
“You are my answered prayer,” Chrisley continued. “And I will never apologize for celebrating you.”
Chrisley, 29, revealed in an Instagram video Tuesday that she is expecting her first child and is engaged. Although she did not identify Galanis by name, she said her fiancé is “much older” than she is.
Us Weekly later reported that Chrisley’s future husband is Galanis, 56, making him 27 years older than the reality television personality.

Galanis was an associate of Hunter Biden and testified in the Republican impeachment inquiry into former President Joe Biden in March 2024, while he was still incarcerated.
He was serving a prison sentence after being ordered in September 2020 to spend more than 14 years behind bars for his involvement in two schemes. One of them defrauded a Native American tribe and investors of tens of millions of dollars.
President Trump commuted Galanis’ sentence in March 2025.
Galanis also shares a notable connection with his future father-in-law, Todd Chrisley, 57.
Both men were pardoned by President Trump. Todd and his wife, Julie Chrisley, received pardons in May 2025 after their convictions for tax evasion and bank fraud. They also spent time at Federal Prison Camp in Pensacola, Florida, with Page Six confirming that Galanis and Todd’s incarcerations overlapped from January through August 2023.
During Tuesday’s episode of her “Unlocked” podcast, Savannah addressed the age difference between herself and Galanis.
“I have always said, ‘I would rather [have] 20 phenomenal, unbelievable years with someone than 50 just [fine] years,’” she said.
Chrisley praised Galanis, saying he “does not look his age, nor does he act his age.” She also complimented his “great” body and said his mind is “even sharper.”
