Bo Bice has temporarily left his signature long-haired rocker image behind.

The former “American Idol” runner-up sparked a wave of reactions on Instagram after revealing a striking new appearance.

Bice swapped his familiar flowing locks for a shorter haircut, completing the look with sunglasses, layered necklaces and an unbuttoned patterned shirt.

“Very different look but I would suggest to ditch the necklaces and button up the shirt,” one Instagram user wrote.

Another commenter was far more critical, saying, “I don’t care at all for the new look! It’s awful. Do, however, like to [hear] him sing. Not onto that look at all! YUK!”

Bice appeared unfazed by the mixed response, posting a split-screen “Then and Now” image that placed his longtime rocker persona beside his updated style.

“Well, well, Tinkerbell… Who’s THAT guy?!” he quipped in the caption. The graphic also carried the message “A BRAND NEW MAN · RESURRECTED 2027.”

While some followers objected to the makeover, others welcomed Bice’s refreshed appearance.

“Look good! Glad you are back!” one fan commented.

“You looked good then and now. Keep rockin!” another wrote.

A third supporter added, “Let’s go Bo!! I was cheering for you then & now as well!!”

The style reveal also came with a hint that Bice may be preparing to return to music following a two-year hiatus.

“Ain’t it funny what 2 years’ll do in your life,” he wrote. “I haven’t released new music since Born of Heroes Blood – Hollywood Independent Music Awards for Most Impactful Song of the Year – Vocalist- Bo Bice.”

“Here’s a blast from my past and a glimpse into my future with a new life, new style, but the same southern soul. I’m here to offer you a #BRANDNEWMAN!”

Bice became widely known during the fourth season of “American Idol” in 2005, when he finished second to Carrie Underwood.

His gritty voice, Southern rock influence and trademark long hair made him one of the season’s most memorable contestants.
