Renowned YouTube personality Darren “IShowSpeed” has publicly declared his intent to “whoop” Olajide “JJ,” widely known as “KSI,” after the latter stirred the pot by suggesting that Twitch streamer Jason “Jasontheween” outshines him in boxing. The spark was lit on April 19, 2026, when Jasontheween shared a snapshot of himself with KSI on X, following an intense ten-round boxing match that captivated his Twitch audience.
Jasontheween, who previously was part of FaZe Clan, proudly posted the photo, highlighting his recent in-ring accomplishment. This prompted KSI to engage with the post, drawing a comparison between Jason’s boxing prowess and that of IShowSpeed.
In response, IShowSpeed didn’t hold back. He quickly voiced his determination to take on KSI, recalling their last boxing encounter four years prior when he was just 17. Now, having grown and matured, he confidently stated his readiness to face KSI once more.
The Briton eventually quote-tweeted Jason’s social media post, comparing him to Darren, writing:
“I gotta give it to him, he did better than speed”

A few hours later, IShowSpeed expressed his intention to “whoop KSI’s a**” by saying that the last time they met in the ring was four years ago, when he was 17 years old, adding that he is now a “grown man”:
“.@KSI wallahi if we ever fight again i’m whooping your a** 😂 😂 😂 you fought me 4 years ago when i was 17, i’m a grown man man. let’s put the gloves on lil bro and i’m not playing”

Thousands of fans on X have commented on Darren’s response to KSI, with Jimmy “MrBeast” willing to bet $100,000 on him winning against the Sidemen member if they decide to fight again.
“I’ll bet $100,000 on speed winning” MrBeast replied.
“Bro your a** got wheeped at wrestling mania sit down be humble” X user @vichymachor commented.
“Yo Speed, you already got whooped once lil bro, now you out here begging for round 2 like the grown man energy finally hit Put them gloves on for real, I got my popcorn ready for when KSI forehead dents you again wallahi.” X user @thesaincurry remarked.
“1 minute in the ring and you acquired the ego of John Cena?” X user @SolaTheAnalyst wrote.
When did KSI and IShowSpeed box?
KSI and IShowSpeed collaborated on December 15, 2023, for an IRL livestream in London, during which they boxed for charity, with all proceeds benefiting the Anthony Walker Foundation.
The hour-long livestream ended with KSI, being a seasoned fighter, dominating IShowSpeed. However, the 32-year-old chose to “tap out,” handing the victory to the YouTube streamer.
IShowSpeed appeared displeased by KSI’s decision and exclaimed:
“It’s not over. I said six rounds. I’m a grown a** man. I can do it. On god, it’s not over. I said six rounds. I’m not done fighting. I said six rounds, come one! Stop being a b**ch.”
IShowSpeed made headlines on April 9, 2026, when he confirmed that he is getting an anime series in collaboration with Netflix’s One Piece writer, Matt Owens.
