After several weeks of early access, “Anime Squadron” is now open to all Roblox players. This game offers a lane-battler experience akin to Re:Rangers X, where players can acquire and upgrade units to defend their base against relentless enemy waves. With over 20 characters available, including their evolved forms, players can assemble a formidable team for various modes such as Story, Squadron, Challenge, and Raid.
While strategic acumen plays a role in securing victories, the core of success lies in the strength of your units. Characters possessing robust passive abilities and high statistics can often dominate opponents. To aid players in identifying the most powerful characters, this Anime Squadron tier list evaluates all units based on their current effectiveness within the game’s meta.
Ranking all units in Anime Squadron

Players can primarily acquire units through the Basic Banner and Selection Banner using Gems, the game’s premium currency earned by completing levels across different modes. Additionally, certain characters, like the Puppeteer, are exclusively accessible through specific levels.
The updated tier list classifies all characters into tiers: S, A, B, and C. The S-tier highlights the top warriors of the meta, whereas the C-tier includes the less formidable characters.
In this updated tier list, all units in Anime Squadron have been assigned one of the following tiers: S, A, B, and C. The S-tier comprises the meta warriors, while the C-tier features the weakest characters.
S-tier

Units in this tier are the frontliners in a team. They possess immense damage as well as passive abilities or ultimates that devastate enemies. Roll the best Traits on these units and the SSS grade on all their stats to maximize their battle potential.
A-tier

Denizens of this tier are decent picks for a team although they possess slightly lower damage than the meta characters. Some of these units have an Awakening, which gives them more powerful passives and makes them capable of surviving tough modes like Raids and Challenges.
B-tier

This tier comprises basic support units. They are solid picks at the beginner level but are vastly outmatched by other better alternatives. For instance, Igras is a great tank as it can heal itself with every kill, but Big Beard is better due to its damage and defense-increasing passives.
C-tier

The most underwhelming units are in the last tier. They have a single or a couple of passive abilities and incredibly low stats. Instead of leveling up or upgrading them, it is advised to pull for better and rarer units from the gacha
