Intensive Search Launched for Missing Fisherman in Adelaide Waters

A search for a missing fisherman is under way after he vanished in Adelaide last night.

Eh Kapaw Doe was last seen around 10:30 PM yesterday near Recreation Drive in Port Gawler. Concern arose when his light vanished into the distance while he was fishing with friends. His companions promptly began searching for him.

A coordinated effort is now underway involving multiple emergency services teams. The search spans the mangroves along Recreation Drive and extends along the coastline from Port Gawler to Middle Beach.

Assisting in the search are the South Australia Police water operations unit, PolAir, the State Emergency Service, and Surf Life Saving SA. These teams are employing hovercrafts and jet skis in their intensive search for Doe.

This includes the South Australia Police water operations unit, PolAir, the State Emergency Service and Surf Life Saving SA.

Emergency services crews were using hovercrafts and jet skis to look for Doe.

Family said the young fisherman knows the area well and also knows how to swim.

Police want to speak with anyone who may have seen the fisherman walking in the area, helped him or given him a lift.
