Man attacked with metal pole in Adelaide

A 45-year-old man from Glenside, Adelaide has been arrested after allegedly assaulting a man with a metal pole.

Police arrived at the block of units in Glenside at about 10am, where they found a man with head injuries inside one of the apartments.

A 45-year-old man inside the apartment block was arrested for the alleged attack, police claiming he hit the man over the head with a metal pole after allegedly breaking into the apartment.

A second man inside the same apartment block was also struck over the head, allegedly by the 45-year-old.

The two injured men are expected to recover, having suffered non life-threatening injuries.

Police believe they were not random attacks, claiming the men knew each other. 

The alleged offender, charged with assault and serious criminal trespassing, was granted bail following the incident.
