Renowned musician Sir Rod Stewart is eagerly anticipating the arrival of his sixth grandchild, as his daughter Ruby has announced she’s expecting her second child. The big reveal happened during the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival last weekend, where 81-year-old Rod was performing. Ruby, 38, who already has a son named Otis who is about to turn three on May 9, shared photos showing her tenderly holding her baby bump while wearing a chic black patterned dress.
Adding to the family celebrations, Ruby’s sister, Kimberly, 46, shared a delightful update at the same event. She posted a photo of herself with her young son, whom she welcomed last year, with a blue heart emoji concealing his face.
Kimberly had announced her pregnancy back in March of last year through a series of elegant Instagram photos. Dressed in a floral sundress, she showcased her baby bump with the caption, “Baby boy coming soon.” However, she has kept his name and the father’s identity under wraps.
In the past, Kimberly has expressed her deep affection for her daughter Delilah, once saying, “I honestly never, ever thought that I could love anything as much as I love her.”
She has gushed about her daughter in the past saying of Delilah: ‘I honestly never, ever thought that I could love anything as much as I love her.
“I had her at the right time. I got all the partying out of my system and I just wanted to be with her all the time.’
Alongside Ruby and Kimberly’s children Rod has two other grandchildren. His ice hockey star son Liam, 31, shares son Louie, who is nearly three and daughter Elsie, 14 months, with wife Nicole Artukovich.
