In Wisconsin, a woman faces accusations of disorderly conduct following claims from her uncle that she reacted inappropriately after his mother’s passing.
Forty-seven-year-old Karin Andrews has been charged with a misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct, a charge filed on Tuesday, months after her grandmother died at her 61-year-old uncle’s home in Salem Lakes, Wisconsin. According to a criminal complaint examined by Law&Crime, the alleged incident, which occurred in December 2025, was brought to the attention of law enforcement by Andrews’ uncle. He contacted the police on January 5, nearly a month after the family loss.
The uncle informed police he possessed video evidence of the incident. Upon reviewing this footage, authorities observed Andrews engaged in a heated argument with her uncle, during which she exclaimed, “Are you f—ing kidding me?” Her uncle, described as having remained “calm,” is seen requesting that Andrews leave. Subsequently, Andrews allegedly lunged toward him, seemingly spitting in his direction.
While Andrews was not taken into custody, she has been officially charged with disorderly conduct. Her court appearance is set for August 6.
