Unveiling Chilling Mysteries: Oxygen’s Unknown Serial Killers of America Season 2 Explores Heinous Murders

While notorious figures like Ted Bundy, John Gacy, and Dennis Rader dominate headlines with their brutal legacies, they are far from the only serial predators who have roamed freely, snuffing out lives without remorse.

The latest season of Oxygen’s gripping series, Unknown Serial Killers of America, sheds light on a chilling new roster of these elusive criminals. The series returns Sunday, August 2, at 10 p.m., promising to delve into the dark tales behind some of the nation’s most vicious and meticulously orchestrated murders.

“This season,” tantalizes the network’s press release, “viewers will unearth the stories of some of the most chilling killers who rocked communities nationwide with their spine-tingling atrocities that remain among the darkest to date.”

Journeying through diverse cities from Miami to Phoenix, the show will follow investigators on the trail of perpetrators who scatter terror in their path.

“Gender, race, age – none of these factors deterred the killers,” reveals a haunting voice in the season two trailer, released on July 13. “Everyone was vulnerable, everyone was a target.”

Whether it’s a charismatic drifter taking out his deadly rage on women across multiple states or a prolific killer striking at an upscale retirement community, season two of Unknown Serial Killers of America will draw viewers in with chilling accounts of the dark acts.

“I’m sorry what I did,” one killer admitted in the preview. “I couldn’t help it.”

To learn more about some of the cases explored this season, read on below:

·      After a mother is found murdered, investigators launch a manhunt for a long-haul trucker whose killing spree leaves a trail of victims.

·      After bodies are dumped across Miami, a rising body count fuels a desperate hunt—until one woman’s escape exposes the predator.

·      As bodies of gay men appear along I-95, each marked by the same chilling signature, the FBI tries to corner the predator before he strikes again.

·      As Phoenix reels from a wave of violence, a rapist turned murderer and a random sniper plunge the city into fear—forcing detectives to hunt two deadly predators.

Steve Michaels, Ariel Brozell, Steffanie Siebrand and Elvia Van Es Oliva serve as executive producers of the series alongside Brad Bernstein, David Karabinas, James Macnab and Matthew Watts with Texas Crew Productions.

The new season kicks off Sunday, Aug. 2, at 10 p.m. on Oxygen.
