A recent episode of Celebrity MasterChef witnessed a dramatic turn of events as judge Gregg Wallace experienced a culinary scare not once, but twice. A contestant on the show, comedian Eshaan Akbar, inadvertently endangered Wallace by serving him raw chicken in two separate dishes.
The 40-year-old comedian, known for his quick wit, found himself in hot water when both his chicken liver and butter chicken curry dishes were deemed undercooked by the judges. This unexpected oversight left the panel, and Akbar himself, in disbelief.
Reflecting on the episode, Akbar admitted that the experience was unnerving, stating that his culinary missteps would likely “haunt him forever.” Despite the mishap, the incident added an unexpected layer of tension to the cooking competition.
