Nigerian actress Blessing Onwukwe has recently opened up about her earnings from the YouTube movie “Monica 2,” igniting discussions about the financial landscape in Nollywood’s digital film industry.
Onwukwe disclosed that this role is the most lucrative of her career so far, despite the relatively brief time spent on production.
“I was paid over ₦1 million for ‘Monica 2.’ It’s the highest I’ve received for a movie,” she stated, shedding light on the financial rewards of digital cinema.
She further shared insights into the swift production schedules for both parts of the film, remarking, “We shot ‘Monica 1’ in five days and ‘Monica 2’ within seven days.”
