Ciara Miller has set her sights on partnering with a specific Dancing With the Stars professional when she takes to the dance floor for the show’s 35th season.
In an interview with E! News during the Met Gala livestream on Monday, May 4, the 30-year-old reality star revealed, “I’ve been campaigning for Val [Chmerkovskiy].” Miller added, “I’m not sure if they’re hearing me, but I’m definitely sending emails and putting in a good word. We’ll see what the producers decide.”
Adhering to the “Costume Art” theme at this year’s fashion extravaganza, Miller expressed her eagerness to master the Cha Cha and shared her enthusiasm for attempting a waltz.
“It’s quite random, but I’ve always loved a box step. I have a strong desire to be part of Bridgerton,” she mentioned, referencing the popular Netflix series set during the Regency era.
Hulu announced during the Get Real House event in April that Miller and Love Island’s Maura Higgins would be competing on DWTS, while simultaneously confirming the show’s renewal.
The move came amid an ongoing scandal involving her ex West Wilson and BFF Amanda Batula, who are newly dating. The Summer House costars are set to address the controversy at the season 10 reunion, which filmed in April. (In leaked audio from the reunion, Miller appeared to confront Wilson, 31, and Batula, 34, over their relationship.)
When rumors began circulating on Bravo fan sites last year that Miller could be joining DWTS season 34, the reality star shared that she would not shut the door on the opportunity in the future.
“Yeah, why not? I mean, I grew up dancing,” Miller exclusively told Us Weekly in 2025. “I did ballet for 10 years. Why not?”
“I would totally,” she continued. “I would love that, honestly, but whatever’s right for me at the right time.”
Miller also gave a shout-out to Chmerkovskiy, who ultimately placed runner-up during season 34 with partner and influencer Alix Earle. (Wildlife conservationist Robert Irwin and pro Witney Carson took home the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy in 2025.)
“In my head, maybe Val,” she said. “I want someone who is hard on me. Like, ‘You got to get this down.’ We’d have to work so hard. I don’t want any funny games. We’re in there to work!”
Dancing With the Stars season 35 will premiere this fall on ABC and Disney+ and streams the next day on Hulu.
