Devon’s initial hopes for friendship are met with unexpected challenges, making for a relatable and amusing depiction of college experiences. Radhika Menon from DECIDER likens the film’s humor to that of classics like Mean Girls and Easy A. Notably, the cast includes other well-known names, such as Jaya Harper, the daughter of Laura Dern; Bella Murphy, Eddie Murphy’s daughter; and Zahra Rock, Chris Rock’s daughter. Dynevor stars as a heavily pregnant woman who was recently abandoned by her baby’s father and is on her own to survive the sweeping flood, until a teenager comes to her aid. Whitney Peak and Djimon Hounsou also star in the new Netflix thriller.

There’s a million reasons this Lifetime movie is on the Netflix Top 10 this week, but it could also be because it features Heated Rivalry star Hudson Williams in a small role, marking the first movie role of his career, well before the hit Crave series.

Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Jack Black and Karen Gillan star in this comedy from Red One director Jake Kasdan, that later earned a sequel in 2019 titled Jumanji: The Next Level.
