Ice-T Shares Two-Word Response to Critics of His and Coco Austin’s Parenting

Like his daughter, Ice-T—whose real name is Tracy Lauren Morrow—continues to stay busy. The actor is especially in demand as Law & Order: Special Victims Unit heads toward its 600th episode in season 28.

To mark the milestone, the long-running procedural is bringing back several familiar faces, including Christopher Meloni as Detective Elliot Stabler and Stephanie March as Assistant District Attorney Alex Cabot. The season will also feature a new guest star: NBA superstar—and Mariska Hargitay’s BFF—Jalen Brunson.

“We had Stephanie March on there yesterday,” Ice-T teased to E! while discussing life on the show’s set. “Chris came back for an episode. It’s like they’re going through all the different people from the seasons, but it’s cool. We’re having a great one.”

Ice-T, who is also the father of LeTesha, 50, and Tracy Jr., 34, from previous relationships, did not get the chance to share scenes with the New York Knicks player. Still, he was thrilled for his longtime costar.

“Mariska became a member of the Knicks, and it was good,” Ice-T said. “I can’t wait to see him act as a detective.”
