Jacob Myers-Norys doesn’t see his exchange with Khloe Kardashian as a lesson in getting rejected.
Almost a year after the Khloé in Wonder Land host made headlines with a playful Instagram comment directed at the high school teacher, she revisited the viral interaction during the season eight premiere of The Kardashians.
Khloe said Myers-Norys had posted about his positive qualities before writing a caption along the lines of, “I can’t wait for a woman to ask me how my day was.” During the Oct. 8 episode, she explained, “I thought it was wholesome, so I simply commented, ‘How was your day?’ It was completely innocent.”
The reality star, 42, also made clear that her comment was not a sign of serious romantic interest. “Do I think I’m going to marry this young man? Absolutely not,” she said.
Even so, the seemingly harmless exchange quickly grew far beyond what Khloe expected, spreading “like wildfire” online.
During her confessional, Khloe revealed that she had received roughly 15 unanswered direct messages from him. She then read several aloud: “‘If anything, I just want to say thank you for everything.’ ‘I know it was just a comment.’ ‘Love to hear how your day was.’ ‘Just shooting my shot once again.’ ‘I would love to meet you and talk about how your day was.’”
