In response to the recent storm that swept through Danville, Illinois, the city has mobilized cleanup efforts and will initiate a brush pickup service starting next week.
City officials announced in a press release that crews are already out on the streets, tackling the aftermath of Thursday night’s storm. Their immediate focus is on clearing roadways blocked by fallen limbs and debris. However, in areas where power lines have been brought down, the removal of debris must be delayed until utility teams can safely handle and remove these lines.
