JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (WJHL) – Wine enthusiasts in the Tri-Cities have a new destination to savor, as Johnson City celebrated the grand opening of an exciting winery tasting room.
This past Saturday, both seasoned wine aficionados and curious newcomers were invited to explore the new venue and sample the diverse offerings that will be available in the future. Guests enjoyed a variety of wines, ranging from whites to reds, accompanied by tempting charcuterie selections.
Knob Creek Vineyards, situated off West Oakland Ave. in Johnson City, offers visitors a chance to enjoy locally produced wines while delving into the rich history of the property.
The vineyard operates as both a farm and winery, featuring an on-site museum, a log cabin, a tobacco farm, a weaver’s cottage, and a historic dairy cellar for visitors to explore.
