Jennifer Lopez received an outpouring of admiration from fans after she posted a makeup-free video on Instagram this Saturday.

The 56-year-old actress and business mogul, who has recently been at the center of plastic surgery speculation, recorded the video in her bathroom. In the post, she enthusiastically promoted a new addition to her JLo Beauty line.

Fans flooded the comments with praise, with one admirer expressing, “Skin glowing, hair glowing, life glowing,” while another commented on her “radiating a flawless glow.”

Lopez shared her excitement about the upcoming launch of her revamped JLo Beauty website and the introduction of the Fusion Power Serum.

She described the serum as a blend of powerful ingredients, including retinol and vitamin C, designed to enhance the appearance of smoother, brighter, and more radiant skin.

The lifelong entertainer was clad in a satin, gold robe and her long, straight blonde-highlighted locks were parted down the middle as they framed her face.

But not everyone was impressed by Lopez’s promotional content – some followers called her out for using a filter to hawk a skin product.

‘Good products? Why do you use a filter then?’ asked one critic, adding an eye roll emoji.

Another weighed in, ‘It would have been much better and realistic if you didn’t use a filter!’

‘Show without a filter on as we can’t tell [the effect of the serum],’ added one person, with another agreeing, ‘It does look a bit blurred. I was wondering.’

In November 2025 the brand announced that it won the Beauty Innovation Award for Eye Mask Product of the Year. 

The item promises to ‘define and depuff,’ and on Instagram JLo Beauty captioned a post, ‘We’re truly honored and so thankful for this recognition. Thank you to everyone who’s tried, loved, and shared your first take glow with us.’

A separate post noted that the product is ‘powered by advanced tetrapeptides + hyaluronic acid.’
