We reached out to Yorker’s family for comment. A cousin sent us the following statement.
“On behalf of the Yorker family to the Washington County Community, we thank you all for the outpouring of support . We are sorry this incident happened to my cousin and him being wrongly accused of a crime, then ending up being tased about 4x’s. Mentally and physically, he will never be the same. The community is shaken by this. We the people are afraid to even approach law enforcement right now.”
