CAPE CANAVERAL SPACE FORCE STATION, Fla. – SpaceX on Saturday will attempt to launch another batch of Starlink internet satellites to low-Earth orbit aboard a Falcon 9 rocket.
The launch at Space Launch Complex 40 within Cape Canaveral Space Force Station is set for 7:52 p.m., with backup opportunities available until 11:50 p.m., according to SpaceX. Even more opportunities will exist if needed starting at 7:45 p.m. Sunday.
The 45th Weather Squadron has forecast a 70% chance for favorable weather conditions at launch time, increasing to 80% in the event of a 24-hour delay.
Twenty-three of the internet satellites will take the trip atop the same booster that launched CRS-27, seven other Starlink missions and several more notable endeavors, SpaceX said in a statement. After stage separation during its 12th flight to date, the booster will try to land on the A Shortfall of Gravitas droneship stationed in the Atlantic Ocean.
