Excitement is building for Trump Mobile as the wireless phone carrier, partly spearheaded by President Trump’s sons, Don Jr. and Eric, announced the imminent shipping of its much-anticipated T1 Phones. After several delays, the company has confirmed these devices will finally start reaching customers this week.
This announcement was shared on Wednesday through Trump Mobile’s official social media platforms, sparking attention among eager customers. “The T1 Phone has arrived!!” proclaimed a post on their Instagram and Facebook pages. It further assured those who pre-ordered the device that they would soon receive an update email as the phones begin shipping.
Nexstar contacted a spokesperson from Trump Mobile’s customer care team on Wednesday, who confirmed the phones were indeed set to ship shortly. However, she could not specify an exact delivery timeline for the customers eagerly awaiting their new devices.
Originally put up for preorder back in June 2025, the T1 Phones will be dispatched based on the sequence of these orders, ensuring fairness in the rollout process. As anticipation grows, Trump Mobile’s announcement marks a significant step forward for the company and its supporters.
The phones were first made available for preorder in June 2025. They will be shipped in the order that those preorders were received, the customer care team said.
Trump Mobile’s T1 Phones were first previewed in an announcement from Trump’s sons, Donald Jr. and Eric, in June 2025, with an initial shipping date of August 2025. But the phone’s release was delayed multiple times, and any official release date was nowhere to be found on recent versions of the Trump Mobile website.
The gold-colored phones were initially described as “proudly designed and built in the United States,” but any language specifying that the phone would be built in the U.S. disappeared shortly after the announcement, suggesting possible manufacturing issues. (As of Wednesday, the Trump Mobile website only says the phone was “designed with American values in mind” and “shaped by American innovation.”)

In an email to USA Today, Trump Mobile CEO Pat O’Brien confirmed the production delays, but suggested they were necessary to create “an amazing product.”
USA Today also reported that the phones would be made with “components primarily manufactured in America,” citing O’Brien. An earlier production run was assembled in the U.S., O’Brien’s email explained, but it remains unclear where the phones are currently being built.
A representative for Trump Mobile’s media team was not immediately available for comment.
What is the T1 Phone?
As advertised on the Trump Mobile website, the T1 Phone will feature a 6.78-inch touchscreen display, a 50-megapixel main camera, a quick-charge battery and a fingerprint sensor, among other features. The phone will also run on the Android 15 operating system.
A current product illustration (which is subject to change, according to the site) appears to show the gold-colored T1 Phone with an American flag inscribed on the back, directly above the words “Trump Mobile.”
The phone was announced in conjunction with the launch of the Trump Mobile wireless phone plan. Since June 2025, Trump Mobile has also been facilitating $100 deposits for the T1 Phone, which is currently listed at a total “promotional price” of $499.
The Trump Mobile wireless plan, meanwhile, is currently accepting customers using other phones, including refurbished Apple or Samsung phones offered at the Trump Mobile site. A representative for the company said Monday that people who wish to switch carriers to Trump Mobile can confirm their devices’ compatibility by contacting customer service.
The fine print
It’s unclear how many customers have preordered T1 Phones and paid the $100 deposits (a recent report from the International Business Times puts it at “around 600,000”), but those deposits are said to be completely refundable if customers elect not to wait around.
“Estimated ship dates, launch timelines, or anticipated production schedule are non-binding estimates only,” reads a portion of the terms and conditions, directly under a header reading “No Guarantee of Release, Delivery or Timing.”
The site also indicated that the phone may never be released.
“Trump Mobile does not guarantee that: the Device will be commercially released; regulatory approvals (including FCC authorization) will be obtained; carrier certification will be secured; production will commence or continue; or delivery will occur within any specific timeframe,” the terms and conditions read.
The promotional price of $499 might not “lock in” the promotional price, either: “Final pricing and offers will be disclosed at the time of purchase, and you will have the opportunity to accept or reject the final terms before completing your purchase,” according to Trump Mobile.
