In an inspiring tribute to the nation, the biopic “Reagan,” celebrating one of America’s iconic leaders, Ronald Wilson Reagan, is set to grace theaters once again. As the country gears up to commemorate its 250th anniversary in 2026, this cinematic return feels particularly fitting, as reported by Deadline.
This isn’t just a re-run of the 2024 release; viewers can look forward to an enriched experience. The film’s director, Sean McNamara, has expanded the movie with an additional 10 minutes of footage, offering audiences fresh insights into the life and legacy of the 40th president.
Director McNamara shared his thoughts on the decision, emphasizing the importance of capturing the full essence of Reagan’s story for this special occasion.
While there will be select screenings on July 4th, the film’s widespread release is planned for the fall, giving audiences nationwide the chance to revisit Reagan’s story on the big screen.
Among those who have already had the chance to experience the film is Bob Hoge from RedState. At a premiere screening, Hoge sat down with actor Jon Voight, who shared his experiences and insights from working on the film.
“One of the hardest things about directing a feature film is leaving behind incredible moments on the cutting room floor. I’m so happy to have some of my favorite scenes back in the film for audiences to experience them for the first time.”
