Earlier in May, RedState’s Ward Clark shared some alarming news about an Iraqi militia commander linked to the Iranian-backed terrorist faction, Kataib Hezbollah. This individual was apprehended in Turkey and extradited to the United States to confront charges related to orchestrating a series of terrorist attacks, predominantly targeting Jewish communities.
On Friday, The New York Post unveiled further unsettling revelations concerning this militant, identified as 32-year-old Mohammad Baqer Saad Dawood al-Saadi. His sinister ambitions reportedly extended to plotting the assassination of Ivanka Trump, the eldest daughter of the U.S. president.
Al-Saadi is alleged to be a particularly malevolent figure with a dangerous agenda:

The Iraqi national was allegedly targeting President Donald Trump’s family in response to the killing of Iranian military chief Qasem Soleimani in a US drone strike in Baghdad six years ago.
“After Qasem was killed, he [Al-Saadi] went around telling people ‘we need to kill Ivanka to burn down the house of Trump the way he burned down our house,’” Entifadh Qanbar, a former deputy military attaché in the Iraqi embassy in Washington told The Post.

Making things even scarier, the bloodthirsty terrorist reportedly had blueprints of the Florida residence Ivanka lives in with her husband, Jared Kushner, and their children:

The plot was part of revenge against Trump for the killing of Gen. Soleimani
Absolutely terrifying.
A former deputy military attaché told the NYP: “After Qasem was killed, he [Al-Saadi] went around telling people ‘we need to kill Ivanka to burn down the house of Trump the way he burned down our house.’”
“We heard that he had a plan of Ivanka’s house in Florida.”
Thank God she’s safe, and this terrorist is in custody! 🙏🏻
Al-Saadi didn’t seem to be making his desire secret, because he posted a map of their home on social media and wrote, “I say to the Americans look at this picture and know that neither your palaces nor the Secret Service will protect you. We are currently in the stage of surveillance and analysis. I told you, our revenge is a matter of time.”
Hopefully, his revenge is “no longer a matter of time,” but it is a matter of “never.” That being said, this is pretty scary stuff and is yet another reminder of the evil we’re facing from the Islamic Republic of Iran. This plot, thankfully, appears to have been snuffed out.
Unfortunately, there are many more threats still out there. Ward Clark summed it up well:
We caught one. That’s good. But there are more. This is the conflict, not of weeks, but of generations, and this goblin, this Mohammad Baqer Saad Dawood al-Saadi, is just one face of an enemy with a million faces.
