During Monday’s airing of “Hannity” on Fox News Channel, Secretary of Homeland Security Markwayne Mullin discussed the challenges faced due to outdated records from the Biden administration. He explained that after addressing these inaccuracies, efforts are now focused on targeting and deporting individuals deemed most dangerous, who had been allowed to remain in the U.S. under the previous administration’s policies.
Mullin elaborated by stating, “Under Biden’s leadership, the U.S. was seeing an influx of 150,000 to 200,000 individuals weekly, with many entering under claims of asylum and parole. Although we had documentation on these people, only about 5% of the information was accurate when we began searching for them. We had to thoroughly cleanse databases and sift through public records to accurately identify our targets. Now, when executing warrants, there’s a better than 90% success rate in locating the individuals in question.”
He concluded by reaffirming, “We’ve reached a point where we can effectively pursue the most dangerous individuals—those previously allowed by the Biden administration to disrupt our cities—and return them to their countries of origin.”
