Selling Sunset star Emma Hernan has epic fake tan fail

Emma Hernan experienced a memorable mishap with her fake tan at the Giving a Smile Foundation Annual Gala in Beverly Hills on Thursday night. The event, held at the elegant Beverly Hilton Hotel, saw the 33-year-old “Selling Sunset” star turn heads, albeit for an unexpected reason.

Emma stepped onto the red carpet in a striking red gown that was meant to steal the spotlight. However, it was her noticeably pale hands contrasted against her deeply bronzed arms that captured the attention of onlookers and photographers alike.

During her time on the red carpet, Emma shared a moment with her friend, 34-year-old Swedish model Ella Rose. The two have often been seen enjoying the Los Angeles social scene together, and Ella has even made appearances on “Selling Sunset” as a close friend of Emma. Ella, who shares a daughter named Lily with NFL player Julian Edelman, was also in attendance, adding to the star-studded nature of the event.

The gala attracted other notable figures, including actor Kelsey Grammer and actress Blanca Blanco, who mingled with guests throughout the evening. Despite her tanning faux pas, Emma Hernan’s presence at the event contributed to a night filled with glitz and glamour for a good cause.

Also seen at the event were Kelsey Grammer and Blanca Blanco.

Despite her striking appearance, Hernan later denied using fake tan in a statement to the Daily Mail – blaming the ‘lighting at the event for making everyone look orange.’

The blonde realtor recently spoke to New Beauty about her beauty secrets, recalling the first time she saw herself through the reality show’s lens.

‘It was wild. I was like, “Oh my God, I need a full makeover after watching.” That’s honestly how I felt! You can’t help but pick yourself apart. All I could keep thinking was: “Wait, my my lips look small!”‘

‘I learned, “Okay, I’ll overline my lips a little bit,” because I don’t want to change my face. That’s one thing – I’ve never touched my face, never changed it, never done anything. I think that’s something that makes me special.’

She insisted she wanted to enhance what she had, not change herself into something she was not.

‘I started doing things like switching from individual lashes to strip lashes, finding the right gloss. Those small changes made a big difference. It’s hard to see yourself on TV, but it helped me find my look.’

Last month, Hernan fended off rumors that she and boyfriend Blake Davis had broken up.

Taking to TikTok on November 21, she shared a video of the pair walking hand-in-hand in a garden before her man, a real estate heir, swept her up in his arms to carry her the rest of the way.

‘Let them talk,’ Hernan captioned the video that featured Beyonce’s song All Night.

The post appeared to be a clapback to Hernan’s Selling Sunset co-star Mary Bonnet, 45, who suggested on SiriusXM’s Page Six Radio that the couple had parted ways.

‘I’m not worried. I’m not worried for Emma,’ Bonnet said on the segment. ‘They are not together right now. Not that I know of.’

While Bonnet provided no other details, she did dish on the racial slur controversy involving Davis.

‘I’ll let Emma talk for herself, but there’s a lot more to that story,’ Bonnet intimated, adding: ‘And Emma has the best heart.’

Season 9 of the show got off to a bumpy start as Hernan’s co-star and ex-friend Chrishell Stause claimed on social media that Davis had used a racial slur against her partner G Flip and mocked his pronouns.

But Hernan was quick to defend her man, telling Us Weeky in November, ‘He did not say that pronouns were dumb. He would never say that. He accidentally said “wife” [about G Flip].

‘When he said “wife,” I told him and I explained it, and it was the first time he was learning about it and he was trying to be good,’ Hernan said, adding that ‘it rubbed Chrishell the wrong way.’

‘She’s protective of G and she’s an amazing person, so I don’t blame her for that,’ Hernan continued. ‘But he didn’t mean anything by it. He did not say pronouns are dumb or [were] stupid. I was right there.’

Stause got a chance to vent some more during the season 9 reunion that aired on November 5.

‘I am frustrated because I have gotten no accountability from her. I am sorry I put it on social media. What he said, I am sorry I repeated it on social media,’ Stause began.

Addressing Hernan, she said: ‘I was extremely disappointed that you would still date someone with those views for a year and a half. I tried as hard as I could to be there as a friend for you. Every single action I ever made was out of care and love for you.

‘I just want you to be happy and be cared for by somebody and know how to treat you. I am happy to step back,’ added Stause, who announced her departure from Selling Sunset on November 7.
