JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ala. (WIAT) — In a significant enforcement action, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest of five individuals following a search operation conducted on Friday.
On June 12, deputies executed a search warrant in the 700 block of Pocahontas Road in McCalla. During the operation, authorities successfully confiscated illegal drugs and a Glock 22 .40-caliber pistol.
The individuals taken into custody face various charges, adding another chapter to the ongoing efforts to curb local crime.
- Tommy Findley Jr., 44, was charged with failure to appear and is being held in the Jefferson County Jail with no bond.
- Tina Parks, 42, was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance.
- Ryan Walters, 48, was charged with certain persons forbidden to possess a firearm, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, second-degree unlawful possession of marijuana and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
- Kimberly Lozano, 40, was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance.
- Kevin McCleery, 33, was charged with felony failure to appear, misdemeanor failure to appear and is in the Jefferson County Jail with no bond.
