Reddington emphasized Clancy’s exemplary life, asserting, “Objectively, this young lady has done nothing wrong. She has balanced roles as a nurse, daughter, wife, and has been an outstanding mother.”

The defense later pointed fingers at psychiatrist Dr. Jennifer Tufts, citing her as a pivotal factor in Clancy’s decline, due to her prescription of numerous psychiatric medications.
“She dedicated her life to her children until her visits with Dr. Tufts,” Reddington claimed. “After those appointments, her life was far from wonderful.”
