The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce rolled out the red carpet for Miley Cyrus on Friday, bestowing upon her the honor of a star on the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Drawing a throng of enthusiastic fans, the event turned into an impromptu concert as attendees sang along to her well-loved hits, creating an electrifying atmosphere even before the ceremony officially began.

Cyrus’ star, the 2,845th addition to the Walk of Fame, celebrates her achievements in the recording industry. Over the years, she has delivered chart-toppers like “The Climb,” “Flowers,” “Party in the U.S.A.,” and her latest collaboration with Brittany Howard, “Walk of Fame.”
In her acceptance speech, Cyrus shared her thoughts on this milestone achievement.
“What makes this star truly special is the dedication it represents,” she expressed. “It’s not a prize to be won or a collectible to chase. It’s not crafted for the sake of another album, nor is it a trophy to flaunt. It’s a lasting symbol, my name immortalized in gold and pink terrazzo.”

The remarks were met with cheers from the crowd.
Fans in attendance spoke about the impact Cyrus has had on their lives.
Rose Angelica said, “She helped me through some really difficult times in life when I thought I was nothing and I felt, like, worthless. She really, really did help me.”
Another fan, Alex Estrada, highlighted her cultural influence, “We love Miley. We love ‘Hannah Montana.’ We love the music. She’s a huge part of the culture. She’s a generational icon.”
Majo Juarez described the experience of seeing Cyrus in person as unforgettable, “I get to see her with my eyes right in front of me and that’s going to stay with me forever.”
Speakers at the ceremony included actress Anya Taylor-Joy, who praised Cyrus’ influence.
“We’re celebrating a woman who taught an entire generation how to own their own story,” she said.
Fashion designer Donatella Versace also spoke in honor of Cyrus.
It may not be as fashionable as Versace but Cyrus’ star is in front of the now-closed Marshall’s on Hollywood Boulevard.
