A pregnant Pennsylvania mother who was killed in a devastating murder-suicide had recently shared an emotional message about the “blessing” baby boy she was expected to deliver Monday.
Authorities identified Matthew Stone Sr., 45, as the gunman in Friday’s deadly attack. Erie County Coroner Lyell Cook said Stone killed his pregnant daughter, Angelina Stone, 24; his sons Matthew Stone Jr., 21, and Jonathan Stone, 19; and his wife, Michelle Stone, 44, before taking his own life.
The victims also included Angelina’s 5-year-old son and 1-year-old daughter, as well as two women who reportedly attempted to intervene: 37-year-old Lora Roberts and 51-year-old Twila Tanner.

On Sept. 25, Angelina had posted on Facebook about her anticipation of welcoming what she called her “chunky boy.” She planned to name the baby Kyrie.
Alongside ultrasound images, she wrote: “A Blessing in My Eyes Momma Can’t Wait To Hold Yooouu.”
Investigators have not disclosed a motive for the shooting. Authorities have indicated that mental health issues may have been a factor.
