Shocking Moment: Taylor Swift Booed at Alan Jackson’s Farewell Concert

During an unexpected appearance by Taylor Swift at Alan Jackson’s farewell concert, the crowd at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee, voiced their displeasure with boos on Saturday night.

The crowd could be heard simultaneously booing and cheering the 36-year-old bride-to-be after she popped up on the big screen in a pre-taped message captured by several fans in the audience.

‘Hey Alan, it’s Taylor. I just want to say thank you for your decades of unbelievable songwriting and your performances, and the ways that you’ve given so much to us, the fans,’ Swift said.

Swift remarked, “My favorite song of yours is Drive because it gives us a glimpse into your life. Seeing an artist open up in such a detailed way was incredibly impactful for me at a young age.”

She went on to express her gratitude, saying, “Your support and encouragement over the years have meant so much to me and to fellow artists and writers. I’m thrilled for your show tonight.”

Alan Jackson, the legendary 67-year-old country singer, hosted his Last Call: One More for the Road – The Finale. Despite a weather delay, the event also showcased video tributes from fellow artists Keith Urban, Zac Brown, and Kenny Chesney.

Jackson is retiring following a 15-year battle with Charcot–Marie–Tooth disease -an inherited neurological disorder that affects the peripheral nerves responsible for transmitting signals between the brain, spinal cord and the rest of the body.

‘It’s been affecting me for years. And it’s getting more and more obvious,’ the two-time Grammy winner told TODAY in 2021.

‘And I know I’m stumbling around on stage. And now I’m having a little trouble balancing, even in front of the microphone, and so I just feel very uncomfortable.’

Jackson – who’s sold over 75 million records worldwide – is best known for his hit songs Chattahoochee, Livin’ on Love, Where Were You, It’s Five O’Clock Somewhere and Remember When.

Swift’s appearance came amid swirling reports about her upcoming wedding to her fiancé Travis Kelce, which is rumored to take place in New York on July 3.

The 14-time Grammy winner’s wedding guests were reportedly required to RSVP with a signed NDA when the save-the-date invites were sent out for the ceremony rumored to happen inside an arena or museum-like space.
