In a digitally altered video, President Trump takes a jab at his longtime critic, Stephen Colbert, in a rather literal fashion.
The 22-second video depicts Trump making an entrance onto the set of “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” during the introduction of what is portrayed as the host’s final episode.
This AI-generated version of Trump doesn’t hold back, as he firmly grips Colbert by the suit jacket, shaking him three times with apparent gusto.

Subsequently, Trump is shown disposing of Colbert into a green trash bin, much to the amusement of the audience. He then closes the lid and breaks into his renowned dance routine to the tune of “Y.M.C.A.”
The video surfaced online late Friday, just a day after the actual series finale of “The Late Show” was broadcast.
Shortly after the finale aired, Trump slammed Colbert on Truth Social, writing that he had “no talent, no ratings, no life.”
“He was like a dead person. You could take any person off of the street and they would be better than this total jerk. Thank goodness he’s finally gone!”
Trump’s posts came hours after Colbert hosted his final show on CBS, drawing 6.7 million viewers, according to Nielsen ratings. His final show included appearances by Paul McCartney, Bryan Cranston, and Ryan Reynolds.

Colbert, who hosted the show for 11 years, held back from tearing into Trump in his finale but not his last week on air.
As the clock ran out on his network platform, Colbert criticized the president for a $1.8 million Justice Department fund to pay people who claim they were victimized by government weaponization, calling it an “all-you-can-fraud buffet,” and dubbed Trump “Blob the builder” for his litany of construction projects.
The comedy man just couldn’t stay away from TV after his sign-off.
He appeared on a public access TV show “Only in Monroe” on Monroe Community Media, cracking jokes about his former employer in a low-budget taping of a program he says he visited back in 2015.
The bit featured rocker Jack White; rapper Eminem and actors Jeff Daniels and Steve Buscemi.
