Last month, Terri paid a sweet tribute to her late husband Steve in celebration of his love for animals.

The reality TV star posted a photo to Instagram showing her late husband Steve ‘The Crocodile Hunter’ Irwin posing up a storm with a cockatoo and revealed the bird was still part of their Zoo family.

The lovebirds met in 1991 when she visited Australia Zoo while on a holiday from the US and they married the following year.

Steve tragically died at 44-years-old when a stingray barb pierced his chest on September 4, 2006, while filming near Batt Reef, Queensland, in his native Australia.

Terri famously took over Australia Zoo after being widowed with the couple’s two children.

Irwin and her children Bindi, 25, and Robert, 20, have worked hard in the years since Steve’s passing to keep his conservation legacy alive.
