Rhapsody Of Realities 19 July 2026: Our Mutual Faith

Rhapsody Of Realities 19 July 2026 By Pastor Chris Oyakhilome (Christ Embassy): Our Mutual Faith

TOPIC: Our Mutual Faith (Rhapsody of Realities 19 July 2026)

I long to see you so that I may impart to you some spiritual gift to make you strong—that is, that you and I may be mutually encouraged by each other’s faith – Romans 1:11-12 (NKJV)

Rhapsody Of Realities For Today’s MESSAGE:

In our opening scripture, the Apostle Paul reveals a profound spiritual principle: in the Kingdom of God, faith is not always one-directional; there’s such a thing as mutual faith, faith responding to faith, faith working together to produce results.

Paul, though an apostle with extraordinary grace, didn’t see himself as the only one with faith or the only one bringing the “supply.” He recognised that as he ministered to the saints in Rome, there would also be a supply coming from them to him. It reminds of what the Bible says: the body grows by that which every joint supplies (Ephesians 4:16).

Every member has a supply, something to contribute. And when those supplies come together, the Body is strengthened. This is what mutual faith produces: shared participation in spiritual realities. When faith responds to faith, something happens in the realm of the Spirit. There’s an activation, a release, an unhindered flow of the Spirit of God. Ministry becomes more effective because of the unity and synchrony of our mutual faith. This is why your response matters. Remember, faith is the response of the human spirit to the Word of God.

When the Word is being taught, respond; engage your spirit. The Bible says, “For unto us was the gospel preached… but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it” (Hebrews 4:2). The Word must be met with faith to produce results. Paul says, “…that I may be comforted together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me” (Romans 1:12).

That word “comforted” means strengthened, encouraged, built up. Both the one ministering and the one receiving are edified. Now, there’s something else that comes out of this—unity. When there’s a flow of the Spirit, especially through signs and wonders, it produces a certain kind of unity among God’s people.

Those who walk in the miraculous understand it’s not by human ability. They recognise their dependence on God. As a result, they learn to honour the grace of God in others. This is why those who function in the Spirit walk in greater unity. They’re not quick to criticise or tear others down. They recognise the same hand of God at work. Mutual faith, therefore, is not just about receiving; it’s about alignment, honour, and unity in the Spirit.

PRAYER

Dear Father, I thank you for the spirit of faith at work in me. I respond actively to your Word and to the ministration of the Spirit. I honour the grace of God in others and walk in unity, humility and power. My faith is effective, producing tangible results and establishing your will, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Australian Diplomat Inquiries Launched After Incident Involving ICE at US Airport

0

Australia is urgently contacting U.S. immigration authorities following an incident where an Australian man was restrained and handcuffed at Las Vegas airport, raising concerns among officials in both countries.

A social media video capturing Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents tackling Phu Nyuyen at Harry Reid International Airport has triggered widespread outrage and drawn strong reactions from U.S. elected representatives.

The footage shows a man yelling and crying on the tarmac while two individuals in civilian attire, a man and a masked woman, struggle to detain him using handcuffs.

Upon realizing they are being filmed, the pair abruptly leave the scene, leaving the man with a single handcuff dangling from his wrist.

Later on Monday, authorities from the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police confirmed that the individuals in the video were ICE agents.

They found no outstanding warrants on him, removed his handcuffs, and notified ICE.

According to the Department of Homeland Security, ICE officers did not proceed with the arrest of Phu Nguyen, a 57-year-old citizen of Australia who overstayed a visa that expired in 2015, at Las Vegas airport on Monday.

ICE arrested him at his flight departing the Los Angeles International Airport on Tuesday, “despite attempts by agitators to help him evade ICE officers at Las Vegas airport”, the department said.

Nyugen is being held at the Adelanto ICE Processing Center in California, according to US media reports.

The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade said it was making urgent inquiries following reports of an Australian citizen detained in the US.

“The department stands ready to provide consular assistance to any Australian citizen, should it be requested,” a spokesperson said.

ICE tactics under scrutiny

The incident again put ICE’s ‌aggressive tactics under scrutiny after an immigration officer on Monday killed a driver in a town in Maine.

“ICE is continuing to act with impunity — instilling fear in our communities and scaring tourists, which hurts our tourism economy,” Democratic US senator for Nevada Jacky Rosen said following the aborted arrest at Las Vegas airport.

“Enough is enough. ICE must follow the same commonsense guardrails as other law enforcement agencies.”

The Nevada Latino Legislative Caucus and the Asian American Native Hawaiian Pacific Islander Caucus are calling for a full investigation, urging Governor Joe Lombardo to explain the transparency and accountability for federal law enforcement agencies operating in Nevada.

At least seven people have been shot dead during federal immigration ‌enforcement operations since January 2025, when US President Trump launched mass deportations after returning to office following campaign promises of an immigration crackdown.

Influencer Brothers Andrew and Tristan Tate Arrested in Miami by US Marshals Service

MIAMI – On Saturday, well-known influencer brothers Andrew and Tristan Tate, notorious for their controversial online presence advocating wealth, male supremacy, and misogynistic views, found themselves under arrest in Miami. Their apprehension comes as British authorities pursue their extradition over serious allegations of rape and sex trafficking.

Captured by the U.S. Marshals Service on a sealed warrant, the Tate brothers have thrust the United States into the center of this high-profile international legal drama, which has already spanned continents from Romania to Britain. U.S. Marshals Service spokesperson Brady McCarron confirmed these developments to The Associated Press.

On Saturday, British prosecutors formally announced their bid to extradite the siblings, charging them with allegations of raping and trafficking women between the years 2010 and 2017.

Having relocated to Romania in 2016, the brothers were previously detained there in 2022 amid accusations related to schemes for recruiting women into sexual exploitation rings. The duo denied the charges, and the case was dropped due to various legal and procedural missteps.

The Tate brothers are slated to make an appearance in Miami’s federal court early next week, according to an anonymous source familiar with the ongoing sensitive law enforcement operations.

The pending charges in the United Kingdom accused the brothers of abusing women in an area north of London, where they grew up. Their lawyers had said they denied the allegations.

Joseph McBride, an attorney representing the Tate brothers, said in a phone interview Saturday evening that he has not been able to speak with his clients but called the new charges out of the U.K. “filth and slander” intended to derail defamation lawsuits filed by the brothers in the U.S.

“They’re pulling out all the stops to make sure these guys never get their day in court,” McBride said.

“We are confident that once a competent judge sees the facts, and once the Department of Justice confronts this egregious abuse of its own authority, Andrew and Tristan Tate will walk free. America does not do Britain’s political dirty work

Andrew Tate, 39, first reached a mainstream audience as a contestant on the U.K. reality television show “Big Brother” in 2016. He was removed from the show when a video surfaced that appeared to show Tate assaulting a woman. He and his brother Tristan Tate, 38, are vocal supporters of U.S. President Donald Trump.

Andrew Tate has amassed over 10 million followers on X but has been banned from platforms like YouTube, TikTok and Instagram for violating hate speech guidelines. His most widely condemned rhetoric includes comments that women who are sexually assaulted should bear some responsibility for their attacks, graphic descriptions of how he might attack women and criticisms of people who seek treatment for mental illness.

The Tate brothers have consistently denied allegations of abuse and human trafficking, claiming that violent and misogynistic statements have been taken out of context or were intended as jokes.

Australian Diver Miraculously Escapes 7-Foot Shark Attack with ‘Pretty Good Bite

0

In a truly harrowing encounter beneath the waves, a diver found himself marveling at his fortune after dodging death in a shark attack just off Australia’s shoreline this past weekend.

A 31-year-old man experienced a terrifying brush with danger when a shark, boasting a formidable length of more than six and a half feet, clamped down on his forearm near Tasmania’s coast. The incident took place shortly after 9 a.m. on Saturday, as first reported by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation.

Officials from Tasmania revealed that the diver was in the company of two other divers, approximately 165 feet from Adventure Bay’s shores, at a sea depth of 26 feet. It’s believed the attacker was a broadnose sevengill shark.

The unidentified victim was promptly assisted to land by his diving companions, before being flown to Royal Hobart Hospital. Inspector Darren Latham of Tasmania Police confirmed that, fortunately, his injuries were not considered life-threatening.

Police have assured the public that the diver currently remains in stable condition following the incident.

According to a beachgoer who was on scene when paramedics attended to the man’s injuries, the diver was spearfishing at the time of the attack.

“The guy who was bitten had speared a fish and had been bitten by the shark while retrieving the fish on the spear,” the witness, who did not want to be identified, said.

“It was a pretty good bite without being anything too serious…just a good, dog-sized bite, maybe the top of his arm,” he added.

The broadnose sevengill shark, which was believed to be nearly 7-feet in length, is a “major predator of shark species,” according to Fishing Tasmania.

The shark species can reach nearly 10 feet in length and have seven gill slits instead of the usual five found on most other kinds of sharks, per the Shark Research Institute.

They are typically found swimming at depths of up to 150 feet and are classified as dangerous in Australia.

Shark attacks in the southern state of Australia are rare — with only 15 being recorded throughout history, six of which were fatal.

“Sevengill sharks are often encountered by Tasmanian divers, usually without incident,” shark researcher Chris Black told the outlet.

“They are curious animals and will often investigate divers by slowly circling them,” he said.

According to Black, broadnose sevengill sharks are “generally regarded as harmless, but will come belligerent in situations where there is feed in the water or where there is a stimulus, such as fish blood, in the water.”

Since the attack on Saturday, police say there have been no further sightings of the shark.

Tragic Incident: Mother Fatally Wounds Boyfriend as Three-Year-Old Watches in Horror

Inset: Zaria Owens (Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office). Background: The apartment complex in Spartanburg, S.C., where Owens fatally shot a man. (Google Maps).

A woman from South Carolina faces more than two decades in prison after she was convicted of shooting her boyfriend to death in front of her young son.

On Thursday, a jury in Spartanburg County found 25-year-old Zaria Aiyanna Owens guilty of voluntary manslaughter and using a weapon during a violent crime. This verdict came in connection to the tragic death of 21-year-old Tyquirez Rashad Sims in August 2023.

Owens received a sentence of 21 years behind bars for voluntary manslaughter. Additionally, she was handed a concurrent five-year sentence for the weapon charge, meaning both sentences will be served simultaneously.

The tragic event unfolded outside an apartment complex on College Pointe Lane in Spartanburg, a city situated approximately 30 miles northeast of Greenville.

Just before 9 p.m., Owens and Sims were arguing.

Prosecutors said the couple had been living together but the man was making the woman move out, a friend told investigators, according to a courtroom report by Spartanburg-based CBS affiliate WSPA.

As the argument progressed, Sims realized Owens had taken his gun and phone, so the man followed the woman to her car.

Things spiraled outside that night. Owens pointed the man’s own gun at him, so Sims went back inside the apartment, retrieved the defendant’s 3-year-old son, and took the boy over to the mother’s car so she would leave, the state told the jury.

Then, Owens raised her arm toward Sims, another witness told investigators. This was the gun being aimed and fired.

The woman then got her son and fled the scene in her car.

Police found the vehicle at an apartment complex later on. Owens would turn herself in to police the next morning.

During a custodial interview, the defendant initially tried to claim self-defense.

Owens eventually settled on a version of events where she was reaching for her son when she saw Sims push the child toward her, causing the toddler to stumble. Then, Owens admittedly picked up the gun and shot Sims.

First responders found the victim dead at the scene. He had been shot once in the head. Prosecutors said the weapon was fired while Sims was on the curb – several feet away from the shooter.

Authorities also confirmed that the defendant’s child had not been injured in any way from when he allegedly stumbled.

At the time of the incident, Sims had recently fathered a child of his own – a 6-month-old. The slain man’s family was said to be close-knit.

“Tyquirez had a loving family and had become a father several months before his death,” Deputy Solicitor Spenser Smith said. “This is a tragic case of domestic violence that has impacted two families and two young children,” Smith added. “Ms. Owens killed Tyquirez Sims in front of her son and now that child will grow up without his mother.”

Zendaya Faces Controversy Over 3,000-Year-Old Earrings: A Clash of Fashion and Heritage

0

Zendaya recently faced criticism for her decision to wear earrings believed to be 3,000 years old during her latest promotional trip for the film, The Odyssey.

During a photo event in London earlier this month, the 29-year-old actress, known for her portrayal of Athena in Christopher Nolan’s version of Homer’s classic tale, showcased these ancient accessories.

The Iranian 18-karat, yellow gold medallion discs are reportedly dated back to the first millennium B.C., per CNN.

These earrings are thought to originate from the legendary Ziwiye hoard, discovered in the 1940s, nearly a century ago.

Crafted by Glenn Spiro, a jeweler based in London, the earrings are encircled with diamonds and were eventually acquired by Barron London.

Barron London told CNN that the “ancient gold discs are secured in a straightforward, non-invasive claw setting that ensures the original artifacts remain untouched and undamaged.”

Zendaya, 29, has sparked backlash for wearing 3,000-year-old earrings during her latest press tour for The Odyssey (seen above)

‘Cultural heritage rightly inspires important conversations, and we welcome informed dialogue about provenance, preservation and the appreciation of exceptional craftsmanship.’

The jeweler also stated, ‘At a time when Iran is frequently viewed through the lens of contemporary events, we hope these earrings can serve as a reminder of the country’s enduring artistic, cultural and historical legacy.’

Zendaya, whose stylist is Law Roach, had paired the earrings with a white Jacquemus dress that contained draped material that fell down her back.

Some social media users offered their thoughts on the earrings this week.

One penned, ‘Exhausted with the continuous “disrespect” to other Countries,’ while another wrote, ‘As an archeology student. I HATE THIS. They should be in a museum.’

‘While I’m glad they’re preserved, Shouldn’t ancient artifacts be in a museum? I think these should be in a museum but thats my opinion,’ a fan typed.

Over on Reddit, one shared, ‘I love zendaya but i don’t think 3,000 year old jewelry should be lent out to anyone. Like, that’s actually crazy lol.’

Another said, ‘Cool but something feels off about wearing an artifact like that. Unless those were commonly found.’

The 'ancient gold discs are held within a simple, noninvasive claw setting that does not alter or damage the original objects in any way,' Barron London told CNN

‘Why not just wear a replica?’ one Reddit user questioned.

However, a fan also came to Zendaya’s defense by penning, ‘This is a non-issue that people need to get over.’

In the comment section of an Instagram post shared by user @northwitch69, one said, ‘I love her, but the designer should’ve been more responsible and not used such as a valuable historical piece as an earring for a movie premiere.

‘We should take care of history, even when the historical remains aren’t in their original places.’

But another typed, ‘Well to be fair, there’s only really going to be one team that will have respect for them and that’s Zendaya and Law.’

‘As an Iranian, I find this whole situation deeply upsetting. This piece is a part of Iran’s history and cultural heritage, and it should not be in the hands of anyone other than Iran and its people,’ a fan wrote.

‘It was taken from Iran and transformed into an earring, while if it had stayed in its homeland, it would have been protected and preserved in a museum.’

Another added, ‘Love zendaya but wearing artifacts that were likely looted is not a good look.’

Daily Mail has reached out to reps of Zendaya for comment, but has yet to hear back.

Other celebrities have previously sparked backlash when it came to their fashion choice on the red carpet.

Kim Kardashian had notably worn Marilyn Monroe’s iconic dress that the late actress had donned in 1962 when singing ‘Happy Birthday’ to President John F. Kennedy.

The reality star had worn the ensemble while attending the 2022 Met Gala. She later voiced regret over the look during an episode of The Kardashians.

The TV personality recalled having to change once she got to the event to avoid damaging it during travel.

‘I can’t sit in a car, I can’t risk it. It’s so fragile, you guys. No one can touch me. So if anyone touches me and gets their oils on the dress… it’s too risky to get in the car and leave from the hotel and do it.’

Kardashian added, ‘So, all of this – the losing the weight, dying the hair for 30 hours, leaving the hotel in a robe, getting there, changing on the red carpet, just walking to the top of the red carpet, then changing again into a replica of the dress.

‘Because we can’t risk sitting in it and eating dinner, is all for maybe 10 minutes of my life, just on the red carpet. Like, that’s it.’

Earlier this year in January, Margot Robbie opted to wear Elizabeth Taylor’s Taj Mahal diamond necklace, which is worth a reported $8 million.

Robbie also wore a replica of a 175-year-old bracelet made of the Brontë sisters’ locks at the London premiere of Wuthering Heights in February.

Zendaya has recently turned heads for her jaw-dropping looks while promoting The Odyssey before the film officially hit theaters on July 17.

The actress took on the role of the goddess Athena in Nolan’s adaptation of Homer’s Greek epic, while her husband Tom Holland portrayed the character of Telemachus.

The project has raked in rave reviews, as some have hailed it as ‘god-tier’ and a ‘masterpiece.’

Along with The Odyssey, the lovebirds will also appear on the big screen together in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which hits theaters on July 30.

Last month, while talking to Esquire UK, Holland finally confirmed that both he and Zendaya said ‘I do.’

The actor was questioned about whether some of his family members thought they had missed the nuptials after AI-generated ‘wedding’ photos filtered across social media and the internet.

‘No, because they were all there,’ he simply stated. ‘That’s all you’ll get on that.’

Zendaya, who also appeared in the third season of Euphoria and the film The Drama this year, has shared her plans to step away from the spotlight.

While recently talking to Entertainment Tonight at the NYC premiere of The Odyssey, the actress gave insight into what she will do with her free time.

‘Oh girl, nothing. Just mind my business, you know? And stay to myself,’ she said. ‘This is such a whirlwind, and you’re kind of like in a new place every second, and your brain is kind of all over the place.’

She added, ‘It’s fun and I’m grateful, and I wouldn’t change a thing, but sometimes you need to just, you know, disappear for a little bit.’

Iceberg Lettuce Recall Alert: Cyclospora Risk in 27 States

    0

In response to potential contamination concerns involving the parasite cyclospora, prominent produce supplier Taylor Farms has issued a recall for its iceberg lettuce distributed across 27 states in the U.S. This move comes as the country faces a surge in cyclospora-related diarrhea cases.

Acting swiftly, the company has begun an “active removal” process for the lettuce products, halting distribution from Central Mexico to U.S. markets. Additionally, Taylor Farms has ceased receiving any new shipments from the suspect batch.

A clear warning has been issued to consumers: if you have purchased the affected iceberg lettuce, dispose of it immediately to avoid health risks. The company emphasizes that consuming the recalled product is not safe.

Spanning from June 29 to July 16, the distribution of the potentially tainted shredded iceberg lettuce reached numerous states, including Alabama, Arkansas, Connecticut, and Florida, among others. Taylor Farms’ presence extends across much of the Midwest and East Coast with this latest recall effort.

The recall announcement elucidates the issue without specifying which retailers or product names are directly involved. However, it does offer some guidance on identifying affected items, particularly by use-by dates and brand codes. Taylor Farms assures that none of their branded salads or kits are implicated in the outbreak and clarifies that these do not include iceberg lettuce.

“At this time, Taylor Fresh Foods has not publicly provided distribution information or a list of customers who received the product that was voluntarily removed from the market,” the US Food and Drug Administration said in an update Friday.

Federal health officials have linked a large cyclospora outbreak in the Midwest to shredded iceberg lettuce supplied by Taylor Farms and served at some Taco Bell restaurants in Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, West Virginia and Kentucky. Taco Bell said Friday that it has removed the lettuce from its restaurants and its nationwide supply chain.

The FDA said more states may be added to the list as more information comes available.

Restaurant food distributor Sysco said it had already taken action on Taylor Farms iceberg lettuce from Mexico.

“Sysco proactively removed all Taylor Farms processed iceberg lettuce products from Mexico from distribution and instructed customers to destroy them after learning regulators indicated a suspected link between Taylor Farms’ lettuce and a five-state Cyclospora outbreak,” a spokesperson said in a statement Saturday.

People with cyclosporiasis may have symptoms that include watery diarrhea, cramping and bloating for weeks, which can lead to dehydration. Cases of the intestinal illness caused by a microscopic parasite are surging across the US, with nearly 7,000 confirmed or under investigation in 34 states since May 1, according to data published this week by the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Federal health officials said there are multiple investigations underway – some tied to the large outbreak in the Midwest, some involving single states and some involving cases not yet tied to any cluster.

So far, the outbreak linked to the lettuce is considered to be a regional one, centered in the Midwest. The Michigan state health department has reported more than 5,000 cases of cyclosporiasis during the outbreak investigation. The state health department said that it “cannot say with certainty that every illness is linked to the same source of exposure” but that the concentrated, sharp increase in cases “strongly suggests that the vast majority of these illnesses are associated with the same outbreak.” This would make it the largest cyclospora outbreak in the US on record.

Taylor Farms produce has also been linked with previous illness outbreaks, including E. coli cases tied to slivered onions in 2024 and cyclospora cases linked with lettuce in 2013.

Elevate Inner Thigh Strength After 60 with These Fast-Acting Standing Exercises

    0

Achieving firmer inner thighs post-60 doesn’t have to involve complex gym equipment. Discover five effective standing exercises that forgo the machine yet bring results.

    >

When it comes to toning the inner thighs, many people default to the iconic machine-based squeeze—knees in, feel the burn, and call it a workout. However, this perspective is rather limited. The inner thigh muscles, particularly those on the inside, contribute much more than just bringing your legs together.

Comprising the adductor group, your inner thighs are made up of the adductor longus, brevis, magnus, gracilis, and pectineus. These muscles serve multiple roles: drawing the leg inward, assisting in hip control, guiding the thigh, and providing knee support as weight moves. Their functionality is crucial for activities like walking, climbing stairs, maintaining balance, and executing lateral movements.

Effective standing exercises engage the inner thighs from varied angles. Exercises incorporating lateral movement prompt these muscles to stretch and retract. Single-leg exercises bolster pelvis and knee stabilization. Wider stances offer a dynamic challenge, engaging the hips and thighs simultaneously through an extensive range.

This workout regimen integrates these beneficial patterns into practical exercises. Prioritize slow movement, use support if necessary, and recognize the inner thighs’ integral role in overall lower-body strength. The aim is to achieve stronger, more resilient legs that enhance everyday movement ease and control.
