Elevate Inner Thigh Strength After 60 with These Fast-Acting Standing Exercises

0

Achieving firmer inner thighs post-60 doesn’t have to involve complex gym equipment. Discover five effective standing exercises that forgo the machine yet bring results.

>

When it comes to toning the inner thighs, many people default to the iconic machine-based squeeze—knees in, feel the burn, and call it a workout. However, this perspective is rather limited. The inner thigh muscles, particularly those on the inside, contribute much more than just bringing your legs together.

Comprising the adductor group, your inner thighs are made up of the adductor longus, brevis, magnus, gracilis, and pectineus. These muscles serve multiple roles: drawing the leg inward, assisting in hip control, guiding the thigh, and providing knee support as weight moves. Their functionality is crucial for activities like walking, climbing stairs, maintaining balance, and executing lateral movements.

Effective standing exercises engage the inner thighs from varied angles. Exercises incorporating lateral movement prompt these muscles to stretch and retract. Single-leg exercises bolster pelvis and knee stabilization. Wider stances offer a dynamic challenge, engaging the hips and thighs simultaneously through an extensive range.

This workout regimen integrates these beneficial patterns into practical exercises. Prioritize slow movement, use support if necessary, and recognize the inner thighs’ integral role in overall lower-body strength. The aim is to achieve stronger, more resilient legs that enhance everyday movement ease and control.

Laos Unable to Verify Methanol Link in Tourist Deaths Due to Missing Autopsies

0

On Saturday, officials in Laos reported that they are unable to assign responsibility or identify the cause behind the tragic deaths of six tourists in 2024. These fatalities had been previously associated with alcohol tainted with methanol, but the lack of autopsies — due to family refusals — leaves questions unanswered.

The tragic incident involved two Danish nationals, an American, a Briton, and two Australian teenagers, who all passed away after reportedly spending an evening in the bustling town of Vang Vieng in November of that year.

In a statement released on Saturday, the Laos Ministry of Public Security stated, “Currently, we lack the evidence needed to conclude whether any individual’s actions or specific causes were responsible for these deaths.”

“This situation arose because authorities were not allowed to perform autopsies on the deceased, consequently missing out on crucial forensic evidence to ascertain the cause of death,” the statement added.

Nonetheless, the statement did reveal a significant finding: “The Ministry of Health’s Food and Drug Research Center identified dangerously high levels of methanol in Tiger Vodka.”

Methanol is a toxic alcohol that can be added to liquor to increase its potency but can cause blindness, liver damage and death.

The statement said, based on information provided by the Australian Embassy and a Thai hospital, that “methanol had been detected in the blood of the two deceased Australian tourists”.

It said legal proceedings had been initiated against the owner of the Tiger distillery for “manufacturing or selling products hazardous to health” and “illegal commercial operation”.

In a statement issued earlier on Saturday, Denmark’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed that charges had been officially laid by Laos officials on Friday.

If found guilty, the accused faced up to four years’ jail and a fine, Denmark’s foreign ministry said.

The owner and 10 employees of the hostel where the American tourist was staying have also been charged with “destruction of evidence” after transporting his body to hospital.

‘Frustrated and bitterly disappointed’

The investigation has been a source of contention between Australia and Laos and the charges laid this weekend came amid concern over whether justice would be served nearly two years after the deaths of Bianca Jones and Holly Morton-Bowles.

“The Australian Government is deeply frustrated and bitterly disappointed that authorities in Laos are not pursuing the most serious charges,” Foreign Minister Penny Wong said on Friday.

”We have consistently made clear our expectations that charges should reflect the gravity of the tragedy,” Wong said in a statement, adding the government had advocated for a thorough and transparent investigation into the deaths.

Wong said she would again put Australia’s views directly to her Laos counterpart at a Southeast Asian ministerial meeting in Manila next week.

Vang Vieng has been a fixture on the Southeast Asia backpacker trail since Laos’ communist rulers opened the country to tourism decades ago.

The town was once synonymous with alcohol- and drug-fuelled jungle parties for backpackers but has since rebranded as an ecotourism destination.

The Australian government’s travel advisory and consular information service, smartraveller, has recently upgraded its tourist warning for Laos.

It now advises travellers to “exercise a high degree of caution due to crime, the risk of methanol poisoning and ongoing concerns around lack of transparency in the justice system”.

“The Lao legal system may not provide transparency or justice, particularly in criminal cases,” the advice now reads.

Bill O’Reilly Applauds Bill Maher for Standing Firm in NPR Chat

0

Bill O’Reilly, the former Fox News anchor, has heaped praise on the candid approach taken by liberal commentator Bill Maher during a recent NPR event.

At the age of 70, Maher, who hosts “Real Time,” didn’t hold back when speaking to Steve Inskeep from NPR Newsmakers last Wednesday. He boldly claimed that NPR has veered significantly towards a far-left stance over the past few years.

O’Reilly, who is now 76, described Maher’s comments as ‘refreshingly straightforward’ during his show on Thursday.

“Maher definitely has a point,” he shared with audiences on his fresh podcast venture, We’ll Do It LIVE!

“NPR and PBS both lost their government subsidies,” he noted, alluding to what he perceives as the reasons behind the shift.

O’Reilly laid out his belief that a lack of diverse viewpoints in both stations’ coverage had caused them to become stale.

‘It’s boring to me. Boring, okay?’ O’Reilly said. ‘There’s nothing on there that I want to listen to, because I know what they’re gonna say and what they’re gonna do. They never surprise you.

‘It’s right down the line. And other news operations are the same way. They know who their audience is,’ he continued.

O’Reilly – a Fox News journalist for more than 20 years – warned how modern news organizations essentially ‘pay for research’ that helps them monetize consumers’ political beliefs.

‘And the problem is that the management gets a hold of this research, and they pay a lot of money for it, and then they tell their people, “Hey, don’t go against the orthodoxy,”‘ O’Reilly said.

The result was daily helpings of ‘progressive soup’ from NPR, according to the anchor.

O’Reilly added of Maher: ‘And he’s right. Anybody who thinks that NPR and PBS are fair brokers of information is just a lunatic. They’re not.’

‘They don’t even have to compete for money because they are donation driven now,’ he added.

The private broadcasting body previously responsible for funneling federal funds from Congress to NPR, The Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB), was shut down in January 2025, after officials argued the outlet’s coverage was not in the best interest of the country.

Months before, representatives grilled NPR CEO Katherine Maher about a disparity in staff political affiliations, after filings revealed not a single employee at the station was a registered Republican and that eighty-seven were Democrats.

Congress successfully voted last year to claw back $1.1 billion previously poised to bolster public media via a bill titled ‘No Partisan Radio and Partisan Broadcasting Services Act’ (the NPR and PBS Act).

Katherine Maher and NPR maintained the decision to do away with federal funding was politically motivated and that rural communities that rely on NPR’s local stations saw most of the federal money.

Federal funding, meanwhile, only accounted for 1 percent of NPR’s annual revenue.

Maher – long considered a classical liberal and a foil to O’Reilly – called out Inskeep on Wednesday for a shift similar to the one O’Reilly described.

‘Your audience is gonna love this, by the way,’ he said at one point, after chiding progressives for supporting Hamas’s October 7 attack on Israel.

‘The audience is a little more diverse than you might think,’ Inskeep, 58, replied.

‘Really?’ Maher managed. ‘I mean, I’m surprised you even had me on.’

As Inskeep laughed, the HBO star explained in a serious tone: ‘Because I just – I just think of this place as so different than what it used to be.’

'Maher's not wrong,' O'Reilly said, before suggesting NPR's content has become predictable and stale

He lamented the loss of an era where people ‘engage’ with opposing arguments.

‘Tell me if I’m wrong about something. And then we’re gonna be cool,’ Maher said. ‘But that’s not what either extreme does in this country anymore.’

O’Reilly launched We’ll Do It LIVE! in March. O’Reilly was fired from Fox News in 2017 following a report from The New York Times that revealed he settled five lawsuits that alleged sexual misconduct

The title references the conservative’s infamous outburst as anchor of the syndicated newsmagazine ‘Inside Edition’ in the early 90s, a blooper that went viral upon its release as an early video on YouTube in 2008.

The new show is part of O’Reilly’s latest effort to expand his media presence as an independent journalist, following more than 20 years with Fox.

Maher, meanwhile, launched Real Time in 2003. He has soured on Democrats since the 2024 election.

Claude Makelele Urges Real Madrid’s Florentino Perez for Major Michael Olise Acquisition Amid Bayern Munich Rivalry

0

In a fascinating turn of sporting intrigue, former Real Madrid and Chelsea star Claude Makelele has publicly urged Florentino Perez, the president of Real Madrid, to pursue Bayern Munich’s dynamic winger Michael Olise. This revelation came from a recent conversation Makelele shared with the Los Blancos president.

As speculation swirls, reports surfaced on Thursday night indicating that Olise, now 24, had confided in his French teammates during the World Cup about his interest in joining the prestigious Spanish club. Such a move promises to be a sensational transfer to watch.

Makelele, who was a pivotal figure during the reign of the Galacticos in the early 2000s, disclosed that he has had private discussions with Perez, suggesting that Real Madrid should consider making a bold bid for Olise.

According to French newspaper L’Equipe, Olise has been actively seeking insights from fellow Frenchmen and Real Madrid players, like Kylian Mbappe and Aurelien Tchouameni, about the club while competing in the tournament.

Having transferred to Bayern Munich in a £50 million deal back in 2024, Olise still has three years remaining on his current contract with the German powerhouse. If Real Madrid aims to fulfill Olise’s ambitions, they will need to present a substantial offer to sway Bayern Munich into negotiations.

Olise played a major role in the France side that reached the semi-finals of the World Cup, bagging a tournament-high five assists before his country’s 2-0 defeat to Spain in the last four.

And in spite of Olise’s struggles against La Roja, which has in turn landed France a third-place play-off date with England on Saturday, Makelele has piled praise on the forward for his performances in North America.

Speaking to ComeOn, he added: ‘Olise gives me back the feeling of watching football, the taste of what we were as kids: talent, freedom, quality, efficiency.

‘When he’s not on the pitch, you feel his absence. When he is, you sense that at any moment, like Messi, he can produce something nobody saw coming.

‘Look at Dembele, Mbappe, Barcola: they know he can put a ball into a space other players don’t even see. That’s the modern football we love, the football that makes fans dream.

‘Even the broadcasters are amazed by his technique. He’s exceptional.’

It’s also been reported that Dayot Upamecano, who plays with Olise at both club and international level, has been pushing for the former Crystal Palace man to remain in Germany in an ‘intense lobbying effort’.

Olise has been the subject of intense transfer speculation after impressing for Bayern, recording 16 goals and 27 assists in 39 league games.

Reports in Germany earlier this year claimed Liverpool would launch an audacious £173m bid for the player amid their pursuit of a replacement for Mo Salah, but Bayern were adamant he would not be sold this summer.

Olise’s name was also mentioned in the Real Madrid presidential election, as it was suggested the club would table a £130m offer if Florentino Perez secured another term.

Perez did win the election, but there has not yet been any contact between the two clubs regarding a player whose price may have skyrocketed after his displays for France at the World Cup.

His performance in North America have the caught eye of former England captain Bryan Robson who hopes the star can one day return to the Premier League but this time at his beloved Manchester United.

‘How far can Michael Olise go in the game?’ he told Hajper. ‘He’ll always be a great club player because he’s so dangerous. He can score and create goals with both feet and has a big influence on whatever team he plays for, and he works hard for the team to get them playing forwards.

‘Olise is already a top player and I feel that he’s only going to improve so he could be the playmaker of the future for Manchester United but not for the next few years. I’d still want Bruno Fernandes in my team.’

Cuban Artist’s Triumphant Arrival in the U.S. After 5 Years of Imprisonment and Exile

0

MIAMI (AP) — Luis Manuel Otero Alcántara, a renowned Cuban dissident artist and musician, made his way to Miami this Saturday following his release from a five-year prison sentence. His freedom came with the condition that he leave Cuba.

Arriving at the airport, Alcántara, aged 38, was welcomed by an enthusiastic crowd, buzzing with cheers and song, their phones raised high to capture the moment. Draped in a Cuban flag adorned with the words “Patria y Vida” — translated as “Homeland and Life” — he received a heartfelt reception. This slogan has become symbolic, named after a Grammy-winning song that Alcántara contributed to, serving as an anthem for those opposing political repression in Cuba.

Earlier this week, the United States granted him parole, allowing him entry into the country. A social media account managed by Alcántara’s friends and allies shared that he accepted exile as his only path to evade ongoing persecution and to continue his work in art and activism.

Alcántara is a co-founder of the San Isidro Movement, a collective of Havana-based artists, writers, and musicians. The group takes its name from the neighborhood where Alcántara once lived.

His arrest dates back to July 11, 2021, amid a public demonstration. In 2022, he faced a court ruling that sentenced him to five years in jail on charges of public disorder, contempt, and showing disrespect for national symbols.

His arrest and incarceration had long been denounced by human rights organizations and the U.S. government. Groups including Amnesty International called him a political prisoner, an allegation the Cuban government rejected.

Alcántara was held in a maximum-security prison, he said, and was expected to be released last week. But for days, advocates said they still could not contact him and did not know where he was.

The organization Cubalex, which legally advises dissidents and reports human rights violations from outside of the country, filed a habeas corpus petition on his behalf Monday.

Until he boarded a plane Saturday, his advocates were not sure of his location, or if he was truly free.

His said his first stop on American soil would be at the Shrine of Our Lady of Charity to make an offering.

Other political prisoners remained imprisoned, including his fellow artist Maykel “Osorbo” Castillo Pérez, his advocates said, and they hoped Alcántara’s release would prompt insistence that Pérez also be set free.

Alcántara brought from Cuba a broken statue of the Virgin Mary, which he described as a symbol of hope and healing, a chance to put back together something from fragments.

Water Main Break Forces Temporary Closure of Book Soup in West Hollywood

0

Renowned for its celebrity admirers, the beloved Book Soup in West Hollywood, which music icon Elton John once fervently declared he’d “jump off a cliff” for, recently announced distressing news. A local water main break severely impacted the store’s operations.

In a statement on Saturday, Book Soup confirmed it would remain closed indefinitely due to the flooding, though there are hopeful plans for a future reopening.

“We are aiming to reopen within a few days,” the store conveyed in an Instagram update. “We need clearance from the LADWP and the City of West Hollywood. At this moment, only residents can access the neighborhood.”

The message continued with gratitude: “We are deeply thankful to all who have reached out to check on us and the store. We truly appreciate your love and support. So far, we are relieved to have avoided damage, and hope our luck holds!”

This iconic bookstore has long attracted famous visitors, including stars like Elton John, Emma Roberts, Courtney Love, and Jack Black.

The famous “Rocket Man” musician once said he would “throw myself off a cliff” if the store closed, and joked some people would petition for the store’s closure so that he’d take a dive.

“I love record stores … and book stores,” John said. “If Book Soup, over the road, went as well, then I’d probably throw myself off a cliff.”

“There’ll probably be a few people petitioning for Book Soup to close so that I will throw myself off a cliff,” he added.

“American Horror Story” actress Emma Roberts was once spotted buying a copy of The Power Broker.

And staff have guided comedic actor Jack Black to the bathroom and avoided taking checks from Courtney Love in fear they would bounce, according to LA Magazine.

It’s yet another celeb-dotted attraction to be closed following this week’s deluge after a water main break from a century-old pipe.

The water main break in West Hollywood Thursday morning devastated local residents and caused widespread damage in the area of the iconic Sunset Boulevard and Holloway Drive. Residents, none of whom sustained significant injuries during the flood, blame aging infrastructure for the burst pipe.

Crews were seen repairing the water main break through the night Friday. They were able to replace the ruptured 102-year-old water main beneath Sunset Boulevard, but officials now say they can’t guarantee the major thoroughfare will reopen before Monday’s morning rush.

Another celeb hotspot, Dialog Cafe, said the business “sustained significant damage,” and it’s unclear when they’ll reopen. Early morning videos showed floodwaters rushing into the cafe and down Palm Ave after a century-old pressurized pipe burst, sending water flowing everywhere.

US Targets Iran with Airstrikes after American Deaths

0

In a decisive response to a recent assault in Jordan that claimed the lives of two U.S. service members and left another unaccounted for, the United States has committed to launching a new wave of airstrikes against Iran. This striking development promises to heighten tensions as the forces gear up for action.

Issued shortly after 6 p.m., a statement from CENTCOM outlined the purpose behind the strikes: to severely impair Iran’s ability to threaten commercial routes through the critical Strait of Hormuz and to swiftly deliver retribution to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps forces responsible for the recent attacks on American personnel in Jordan.

The backdrop to this response unfolded just hours prior, as Iran launched an assault involving ballistic missiles and drones against the Muwaffaq Salti Air Base. The nighttime raid on Friday resulted in one U.S. service member missing, as confirmed by Central Command.

In the wake of the attack, four American soldiers required medical evacuation to Jordanian hospitals, where they received treatment and have since been discharged, according to a post from CENTCOM on X.

While the incident continues to unfold, CENTCOM remains sensitive to the affected families, opting to withhold further details, including the identities of the deceased, until 24 hours have passed following notification of next of kin.

President Trump told NewsNation that the soldiers’ deaths were a ‘very sad thing.’ He added: ‘We hate to see it happen. It’s in service to our country.’

The president also reiterated that his administration would ‘never allowing Iran to have a nuclear weapon.’

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth echoed Trump’s sentiment in a statement on X, writing: ‘Godspeed, heroes. Their sacrifice only stiffens our resolve.’

Shortly before Friday’s attack on Jordan, Iran’s new Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei said that the US strikes on Iran would lead to ‘unforgettable lessons’ for the US, accusing President Trump of ‘seeking to escalate the conflict’

The deaths were the 15th and 16th among US servicemembers since the war with Iran began in February, with more than 430 others wounded.

After news broke of the deaths, Iran’s new Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei, called the US’s actions in the region ‘criminal,’ referring to the country as the ‘Great Satan.’

‘The Great Satan – the criminal US – has now realized that the continuation of its trouble-free, domineering presence in the region is nothing but a naive fantacy,’ he wrote on his official X account.

The attacks from Iran came amid a fresh blitz across the Middle East in recent days, after negotiations with the Trump administration broke down and a ceasefire ended.

Friday marked the seventh straight night of strikes launched by the US against Iran, with the Iranian Revolutionary Guards retaliating with tit-for-tat attacks at US targets in Jordan, Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain and Syria.

Shortly before Friday’s attack on Jordan, Khamenei said that the US strikes on Iran would lead to ‘unforgettable lessons’ for the US, accusing President Trump of ‘seeking to escalate the conflict.’

Hours after the US service members’ deaths were announced on Saturday, Iranian state media said several IRGC missiles were fired at an unspecified vessel in the Strait of Hormuz.

Mojtaba Khamenei, the son of former Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who was killed by an Israeli airstrike in February, issued the chilling threat through a spokesperson on state TV.

The Iranian leader said Trump’s signature is now ‘worthless and invalid,’ after a tentative ceasefire agreement reached in April – and formally agreed upon last month – dramatically fell apart in recent days.

The remarks came hours after a negotiator said Tehran was suspending all of its commitments that were previously agreed upon with the US in June.

Khamenei also vowed to use Iran’s proxies in the Middle East, which he dubbed the ‘Axis of Resistance,’ to combat Trump’s attacks.

The Supreme Leader’s remarks were read by a spokesman on Iranian state TV as Khamenei has still not been seen in public since the war began, with reports indicating he was severely injured in the strikes that killed his father.

Hours after the US CENTCOM announced the deaths of servicemembers, Israel said it took out a Hezbollah drone unit in southern Lebanon on Saturday.

The strikes violate last month’s memorandum of understanding aimed at stopping military strikes in Lebanon.

Lebanon’s President Joseph Aoun and his wife arrived in Washington DC, on Saturday afternoon for continued negotiations, according to a statement from his office.

Aoun met with Lebanon’s Ambassador to the United States Nada Hardini Maalouf, and administrative staff. He will meet with Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Trump during his visit.

The Israeli military said it identified a Hezbollah terrorist cell operating drones outside the city of Nabatieh, and it ‘struck the terrorists in order to remove the threat posed to the IDF soldiers operating nearby.’

Continuous strikes this week have seen the US and Iran exchange attacks on infrastructure and military targets.

The attacks have intensified the conflict’s focus on the Strait of Hormuz, an essential waterway bordering Iran that previously carried over a fifth of the world’s crude oil.

The struggle over the Strait has seen energy prices skyrocket worldwide, with the fresh round of strikes now threatening civilian infrastructure in Iran including desalination plants for drinking water.

CENTCOM said early Saturday that its seventh straight night of strikes hit ‘surveillance sites, military logistics infrastructure, underground weapons storage, and maritime capabilities.’

‘The U.S. has violated its commitments under the deal that was signed about a month ago and now Iran is ‘no longer implementing them,’ Kazem Gharibabadi, Iran’s deputy foreign minister, told state TV.

There was no new word on mediation efforts.

Amid the recent blitz from US forces against Iran, Tehran’s energy ministry ordered citizens to turn off their air conditioning during peak hours as the country’s power grid came under strain.

The energy ministry said that the power restrictions were necessary ‘to help ensure a stable electricity supply in the southern provinces, which are currently facing extreme heat and attacks on electricity supply facilities.’

Temperatures in the capital were expected to hit triple digits Friday, with highs of 102F on Saturday and Sunday.

Missing Woman Found Dead in Shocking Tragedy After Date

0

An unsettling case has emerged in Arizona where a man stands accused of murdering a woman following their first date, subsequently hiding her body in a shallow grave.

Authorities from the Glendale Police Department have charged 24-year-old Domonic Rodolico with first-degree premeditated murder as well as the illegal concealment of a deceased body in connection to the tragic death of Arianna Bailey Jones. Despite these charges, Rodolico has maintained his innocence regarding the allegations.

According to Jose Santiago, spokesperson for the Glendale Police, the investigation suggests that the pair initially interacted through social media before arranging a date. Santiago elaborated during a July 13 press conference, indicating that they were spotted attending a movie together. Eventually, they ended up in a secluded area, which authorities suspect is the location where the crime unfolded.

The sequence of events, as outlined in a probable cause affidavit, began on July 5 when Rodolico picked up Jones from her residence. Around 9 p.m., they visited Harkins Theatres to watch a film. Surveillance footage later captured the duo departing the theater, with Rodolico notably carrying a concession cup, according to the affidavit.

Concern arose two days later when Jones’ family couldn’t contact her. Her mother, worried for her daughter’s safety, visited Jones’ apartment with suspicions that her daughter might have been taken against her will, as detailed in the affidavit.

The 21-year-old was reported missing with police sharing photos and urging the public to step forward with any information.

Police quickly identified Rodolico through surveillance video, cell phone records and automated license plate reader data.

As investigators soon learned, before picking up Jones for their date, Rodolico allegedly made a stop at an “extremely remote, secluded and undeveloped” location, near N. Lake Pleasant Parkway and W. Old Carefree Highway, where he lingered, for 25 minutes, according to the affidavit.

Then, after the movie, the pair allegedly returned to the same remote area on two separate occasions, according to the affidavit. During the last visit, Jones’ cell phone disconnected from the network and 10 minutes later, Rodolico left the area.

Nearly a week later, on July 11, cadaver dogs led police to a foul-smelling shallow grave containing human remains and scraps of denim, according to the affidavit. Nearby were two Harkins souvenir cups, a bra, pieces of a condom wrapper and a hair accessory similar to one Jones wore on surveillance video.

“We are still waiting on some testing results from the medical examiners,” Santiago said during the press conference. “But there was enough physical evidence, of not only clothing, but other things matching Ms. Jones to identify her.”

Later that day, Rodolico was arrested and booked into the Glendale City Jail, where he is being held on a $2 million bond.

When questioned by police, Rodolico shared a harrowing version of events.

He said he and another woman were kissing in the backseat of his car in a parking lot, when two masked and tattooed men approached, armed with a knife and a gun, according to the affidavit. Rodolico allegedly told police that the individuals attacked them both and that one injured his hand with a knife, while the other stabbed the woman.

Rodolico told police in the affidavit that he was eventually able to drive away, while the two men continued stabbing the woman.

However, Rodolico repeatedly changed his story, noted Santiago, and did not report the alleged attack to law enforcement, instead telling only his own family.

“We’re not quite sure where the motive lies in all of this,” Santiago said in the press conference, “if this was a crime of passion or if this was a situation that just escalated out of control.”

An attorney for Rodolico did not immediately return a request for comment from Oxygen. He will next appear in court for a status hearing on July 17, according to court records.
