Fox & Friends Challenges Trump on Iran: Should Network Dump Criticized Hosts?

0

On Wednesday, the hosts of Fox News’ flagship morning show, Fox & Friends, appeared to momentarily depart from their usual alignment with Donald Trump regarding his ceasefire agreement with Iran.

One of the show’s anchors, Lawrence Jones, expressed skepticism about the value of the two-week truce, suggesting during the broadcast that the agreement failed to accomplish any of the United States’ pre-established demands.

Joining the conversation, co-host Griff Jenkins described Tehran’s conditions in the deal as nothing more than ‘a laundry list of nonstarters.’

Jenkins further explained, ‘But the president views this as a potential offramp for Iran’s new regime, offering them a chance to reconsider their position while knowing we can strike with overwhelming force at any moment.’

He concluded by saying, ‘Now, where it goes, we don’t know,’ yet he maintained that ‘at the end of the day, this is a positive step forward.’

Fellow host Ainsley Earhardt agreed with both points, telling viewers: ‘We will see what happens in two weeks, because obviously the US cannot agree to all those 10 points.’

Jones said that he felt ‘the president deserves some room to negotiate’. Each ultimately framed the agreement as a step in the right direction.

The deal was announced on Tuesday evening, after days of threats from Trump toward the Iranian regime, mostly on Truth Social. Trump took time out of the campaign to call out Fox’s Jessica Tarlov – a Democrat – on Monday, asking she be fired for her takes.

‘For Fox executives only, take Jessica Tarlov off the air. She is, from her voice, to her lies, and everything else about her, one of the worst “personalities” on television, a real loser! People cannot stand watching her,’ he wrote.

Trump also took aim at Fox News Sunday’s Shannon Bream for incorrectly referring to the Republican-backed ‘Save America Act’ as the ‘Save Act’ on-air.

‘Tell Shannon Bream of FoxNews [sic] that it’s not the Save Act, it’s the Save America Act, a big difference!’ Trump wrote, before accusing her of failing to push back on guests who spew what he framed as ‘Democrat propaganda and lies’.

‘She never does! I always close deals, unlike the Dems, and did great with China in every way, also, unlike the Dems!’

The ceasefire with Iran was announced shortly thereafter, on Tuesday evening.

The US’s objectives beforehand included the dismantling of Iranian nuclear facilities and an end to uranium enrichment operations – neither of which has happened.

The transferring of uranium stockpiles out of Iran also ‘hasn’t happened,’ Jones noted during Fox & Friends’ broadcast. Many of the demands were displayed on-screen.

Iran, as Earhardt mentioned, issued 10 demands as part of the president’s proposed peace terms, several of which conflict with the US’s. Those also appeared on-screen.

Trump, meanwhile, credited Pakistan for mediating the settlement, which stipulates that strikes will resume if ships do not receive safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz within that span.

‘This will be a double sided CEASEFIRE! The reason for doing so is that we have already met and exceeded all Military [sic] objectives, and are very far along with a definitive Agreement [sic] concerning Longterm [sic] PEACE with Iran, and PEACE in the Middle East,’ he wrote around 6:30pm ET.

Roughly 11 hours before, he escalated a steady stream of threats toward the regime by writing ‘a whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again. I don’t want that to happen, but it probably will’ in a post to Truth Social.

He added ‘we will find out tonight,’ ahead of a since-passed 8pm deadline to reopen the strait.

Trump called the standoff ‘one of the most important moments in the long complex history of the World [sic]’, paving the way for criticism from both sides of the aisle.

A White House spokesperson defended the president’s rhetoric in a statement to the Daily Mail on Tuesday.

‘As President Trump said today, Iran can never have a nuclear weapon, and the Iranian people welcome the sound of bombs because it means their oppressors are losing,’ White House Deputy Press Secretary Anna Kelly said.

The Daily Mail approached Fox News for comment.

NASA Administrator Reveals Mysterious UFO Imagery: ‘Identity Unknown

0

NASA’s top official, Jared Isaacman, has recently confirmed that the space agency has captured images featuring unidentified objects, potentially falling into the category of UFOs.

Taking the helm at NASA back in December as chief administrator, Isaacman remarked that the images they acquired defy current explanation.

He shared these insights during a June 30 podcast episode with host Jack Gordon, stating, “We have captured imagery — and this aligns with President Trump’s progressive stance — that, according to the data within that imagery, we remain unsure of its identity.”

While Isaacman refrained from asserting that these pictures serve as evidence of alien life, he did express optimism about the eventual discovery of extraterrestrial life beyond Earth.

“I think there’s a very real possibility we’re going to arrive at a conclusion in our lifetime that perhaps there’s life everywhere out there and that it isn’t as infrequent as it could possibly be,” he added.

NASA has previously denied having any evidence to suggest that UFOs are extraterrestrial in origin.

A 2023 report by an independent group of scientists and experts convened by NASA stated that more data was needed to better understand certain encounters that defied explanation.

The Pentagon has released batches of data, images and other files related to unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP).

In June, it released dozens of records published through the Trump administration’s Presidential Unsealing and Reporting System for UAP Encounters, or PURSUE, a government-wide effort to declassify files related to UAPs.

“We did keep a lot of that buried in files somewhere, and the president said, ‘Why? Put it out there. We don’t have time to study it. Let other people tell us what it is,’ and you’re seeing that effort. And you’re going to continue to see it,” Isaacman said.

Thus far, nothing has pointed to definitive proof of extraterrestrial life.

Isaacman noted that while NASA has images appearing to show unexplained objects, it has yet to see evidence of crashed alien bodies or recovered spacecraft. However, he teased that NASA may already have evidence of life on Mars, a mere 250 million miles away.

“We got samples on Mars right now,” he said. “If we bring them back, there is a very high probability that they will point to, at some point, microbial life at least on Mars.

“I can’t hate the subject,” Isaacman added. “In fact, I’m incredibly fascinated by it because that is at the heart of what we’re trying to do at NASA — answer the question, ‘Are we alone?’”

Bunnie Xo Defends Herself Against Body-Shaming Amid IVF Weight Gain

Bunnie Xo is addressing critics who have targeted her weight gain amid her IVF process.

On the July 7 episode of her podcast “Dumb Blonde,” Bunnie, aged 46, candidly shared her experience: “As I was going through IVF, it put weight on me, and people would comment, saying things like, ‘Oh, she’s bigger than her husband now.’” She pointed out the absurdity of such remarks, especially considering she was in the process of trying to create life.

The media producer expressed her frustration, adding, “It’s like people just have no respect. The internet is just so crazy.” This comment underscores the all-too-common reality of the online sphere, where criticisms often overshadow understanding and empathy.

Despite the negativity, Bunnie has adopted a resilient approach to dealing with the backlash.

“I’ve learned that it’s just miserable people who have nothing better to do than just comment on other people’s lives,” she explained, highlighting a critical truth about online commentators. “So, you can’t ever let that get to you.” Her words offer a reminder to focus on the positive amid the noise and continue prioritizing one’s own well-being over others’ unsolicited opinions.

Jelly Roll and Bunnie XO

Bunnie Xo offered unfiltered insight into how her sex life with husband Jelly Roll improved after his weight loss journey. “We always had a sex life, but there were mountains and valleys that we had to go through — especially when he was so big,” Bunnie Xo, 46, exclusively told Us Weekly about her memoir, […]

Bunnie revealed in June 2024 that she and her now-estranged husband, Jelly Roll, had decided to pursue IVF. Though Jelly, 41, filed for divorce in May after 10 years of marriage, Bunnie has shared that she and her ex still hope to have a baby together.

“You guys are going to be shocked to hear this, but we’re still having a baby,” she said on her podcast in June. “We’re going to coparent together. I’m so excited to live my life through a child’s eyes, which is why, with this baby journey, I’m not going to let it break me. And I’m not going to detour it. J has been so great about us still having a baby together, and he wants the same thing.”

Jelly is already a father to daughter Bailee Ann, 18, and son Noah, 9, from previous relationships.

During Tuesday’s podcast episode, Bunnie shared an update on how IVF has affected her body amid her struggle with endometriosis.

Bunnie Xo Quotes About Facelift

Bunnie Xo is doing what she does best — keeping it 100 percent real. Jelly Roll’s wife has taken fans along for every raw and unfiltered moment of her facelift journey, from the nervous pre-surgery announcement to the brutal recovery that left her comparing herself to comedian Bert Kreischer. “It’s a privilege to be able […]

“My stomach after I did the IVF — you have to pump yourself full of estrogen and all these hormones — so the endometriosis just fed off of that,” she explained. “My lower stomach would pooch out. It looked like I was, like, three months pregnant, and it would not go away. The only thing that took it away was microdosing the GLP-1.”

Bunnie insisted that her focus was never on losing weight while taking a GLP-1.

“We’re really trying to get our bodies in check and in order,” she continued. “And getting the inflammation down is probably the number one thing that could do for your body. It’s not just about losing weight or taking a shortcut. It’s about literally trying to help yourself and help yourself feel better.”

Trump’s Proposal Promises Ukraine Desired Support, But Comes with Significant Caveat

0

Amidst the ongoing conflict with Russia, Ukraine might soon have the chance to bolster its defenses by manufacturing one of the “world’s best missiles.” However, experts caution that this potential development could provide significant benefits only in the long term for the embattled nation.

During an overnight session at a NATO summit, U.S. President Donald Trump extended an offer that could be pivotal for Ukraine’s defense capabilities. He proposed granting Ukraine a license to produce Patriot interceptor missiles, a move that holds strategic significance.

Patriot missiles stand out as one of the few weapons systems capable of effectively countering Russia’s formidable assaults. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has long sought these missiles and, more recently, the license to produce them domestically.

The urgency of Ukraine’s need for advanced defense systems is underscored by recent events: Russian ballistic missile strikes have caused the tragic loss of dozens of Ukrainian lives over the past week and inflicted extensive damage on vital infrastructure.

Although President Trump’s proposal could offer a crucial lifeline to Ukraine, it faces potential challenges. Some argue that the timing might not align with Ukraine’s immediate needs in their conflict with Russia. Balancing this offer with his relationships with other world leaders further complicates the scenario.

One of the world’s best missiles

Patriot missiles are a little over 5m in length, 40cm in diameter, and have a range of 70km, the Associated Press reports.

The missiles are fired from a battery that costs approximately $US10 million ($14.4 million) to manufacture and can require as many as 90 troops to operate and maintain it.

Oleksandra Molloy, a senior lecturer in aviation safety at the University of New South Wales, told SBS News that the Patriots are widely regarded as among the world’s most capable air defence missiles.

“They are very effective at downing incoming ballistic missiles, which fly at much higher altitudes and are much faster than other types of missiles or drones,” she said.

The US has previously provided these missiles to Ukraine for its defence, but intelligence suggests the country now has limited means to defend against Russian strikes.

A Patriot air defense system made up of a truck with a rectangular launcher on its back

Douglas Lute, a former US ambassador to NATO, said it’s likely Ukraine has run out of defensive missiles, leaving it vulnerable.

“Recently, none of the incoming Russian ballistic missiles has been downed. That suggests that Ukraine is essentially out of its Patriot air defence system,” he told ABC Radio National on Thursday morning.

When asked if the United States would send additional Patriot interceptors immediately, Trump said “some” could be sent immediately and that he thought Ukraine could begin to produce its own quickly.

“We have Patriots, but we don’t have that many. We need them for ourselves too,” he said.

When could new missiles be made?

Lute estimated that it takes the US around two years to produce the defensive missiles, saying that while Ukraine has a strong defence industry, manufacturing Patriots could be a challenge.

“The factory today doesn’t exist in Ukraine. The workforce is not in place. And of course, any production in Ukraine will face some of the same supply chain challenges as American manufacturers,” he said.

“So, this is good news, but it’s good news only down the road.”

Molloy added that since weapons technology is constantly evolving, the Patriot missiles could also become outdated by the time they are made in Ukraine.

“Russia is continuously upgrading its missiles and making them faster and more manoeuvrable,” she said.

“And that has led to a reduced rate of interception in recent engagements.”

Any manufacturing of the Patriots would likely require approval from the US license holders, Raytheon and Lockheed Martin, adding a further barrier to future Ukrainian-made missiles.

SBS News has contacted both companies for comment.

Trump, Putin and the war in Ukraine

Jessica Genauer, an expert in international conflict and international relations at the University of NSW, told SBS News that the missile offer is also symbolic.

“The US wants to show it still supports Ukraine and is broadly on their side,” she said.

“However, it was a fairly off-the-cuff comment from Trump, and we will have to see what, if anything, comes of it.”

When asked how the offer could affect Trump’s relationship with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Genauer said it’s not a “major turning point”.

Trump tends to be quite supportive of whoever he is with at any given time, she said, and, in this case, at the NATO summit, he wanted to be seen as backing Europe.

“I fully expect that at the same time, Trump still maintains his attachment to what he sees as quite a positive relationship with President Putin of Russia,” she said.

“He will keep talking to Putin and most likely still holds an aspiration to try to influence Putin to get to some kind of conclusion to this conflict under a Trump presidency.”

Genauer added that Trump could also be looking to shift focus away from the “crumbling” US-Iran ceasefire deal by announcing support for Ukraine.

“Trump does not like to look weak or unsuccessful to his European counterparts,” she said.

“So I think this is also partly Trump pivoting away from a focus on US-Iran relations and going back to another very serious high-level ongoing conflict, which is that of the war between Russia and Ukraine.”

As for Trump’s sometimes “tumultuous” relationship with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the latter would be “grateful” for the missile technology, Genauer said.

However, Ukraine will likely need at least a temporary cessation of hostilities with Russia soon if it hopes to have the capacity to produce Patriots.

“Ukraine does not have an endless timeline to continue fighting this war; within probably one to two years, there will need to be some kind of agreement around stopping the war,” she said.

If licensing is approved and Ukraine can manufacture the missiles, the benefits to its defence would be in the medium- to long-term, Genauer estimated.

“Having a really good air defence system will be critical for Ukraine, not just during this hot phase of this conflict, but probably for at least seven to 10 years after the conflict concludes.”

Shocking Revelation: Discover Lorena Bobbitt’s Secret Lover 33 Years Later!

0

It’s a challenging life journey.

Lorena Bobbitt, once thrust into the spotlight after a notorious incident involving her husband, now leads a tranquil existence in the suburbs alongside her long-time partner. More than thirty years have passed since her case captivated the nation.

Bobbitt captured global attention on June 23, 1993, when she took an 8-inch kitchen knife and severed her husband John Wayne Bobbitt’s penis while he slept. After this shocking act, she fled their Manassas, Virginia residence with the severed part in hand.

In a state of distress, the then 24-year-old discarded the penis out of her car window into a grassy area near a 7-Eleven and subsequently notified the police.

Currently 56 years old, Lorena resides in a leased four-bedroom home valued at $640,000 in Prince William County. This region is roughly an hour’s drive from Washington, D.C., according to reports by the Daily Mail.

Going by her birth name, Lorena Gallo, the Ecuadorian-born bunny boiler shares the house with her beau, Dave Bellinger, 56, the couple’s daughter Olivia, 21, and their dog, the outlet reported.

Pictures show the couple wearing their gym gear, walking their dog, and attending church together, every bit the unremarkable suburban couple.

Bellinger has a lengthy rap sheet, including 26 criminal violations for offenses including credit cart theft, fraud, embezzlement and more than a dozen traffic violations, according to the Daily Mail.

They met in community college in the late 1990s, several years after Gallo was found not guilty of malicious wounding by reason of temporary insanity in January 1994.

Neighbors say the couple remains pariahs in their leafy community, with some joking darkly that Bellinger is too afraid to tie the knot with the former Mrs. Bobbitt.

“It’s fun to talk about. You can always start a conversation by saying, ‘Guess who lives on my block?’” neighbor Amelia Stern told the outlet.

“The guys in the neighborhood have the most fun with it. I guess she [Gallo] seems nice enough, but let’s just say that I’m not worried about her seducing my husband. He’s afraid of her.”

A male neighbor, who asked not to be named, admitted to having misgivings about talking to Gallo.

“I don’t have anything against her, but I can’t see her without imagining her driving around town with a cut-off penis in her hand,” he said.

Gallo claimed at the time that she had snapped when she castrated her husband following years of physical, psychological and sexual abuse, including an alleged rape earlier that same evening.

Her husband was subsequently charged and later acquitted of marital sexual assault by a jury in late 1993.

Bobbitt’s penis was found by police in the field near the 7-Eleven and packed with ice, before remarkably being reattached following four hours of surgery.

“I thought I was going to die. Just imagine what it was like. Worst night of my life,” Bobbitt told the Daily Mail.

Astonishingly, the penis began functioning normally again within months, and Bobbitt would go on to appear in a series of porno flicks in the 1990s.

Bobbitt has long denied that he assaulted his ex-wife.

Meanwhile, Gallo has spent much of the past three decades advocating for domestic violence victims, launching her own nonprofit, The Lorena Gallo Foundation, in 2018.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Enjoy Private Getaway Together

0

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have managed to keep their honeymoon arrangements under even stricter confidentiality than their secretive wedding.

Their guests, who attended the Madison Square Garden ceremony last week, were only informed at the last minute about the need to be in New York City on July 3, around early evening.

The security measures for the wedding may have been impressive, but they pale in comparison to the extreme lengths taken to secure their honeymoon. The couple has even gone so far as to stage ‘decoy’ private jets to ensure they remain unobservable to the public.

Insiders reveal that the Kansas City Chiefs’ standout tight end and his renowned singer wife, both 36, are relishing their ‘newly married bubble.’ They’ve opted for a ‘mini-moon’ to enjoy some solitude before embarking on a longer, more elaborate honeymoon journey.

For a truly private getaway, the pair chose a destination where they have previously enjoyed ‘absolute privacy’ — the exclusive Yellowstone Club located in Big Sky, Montana.

Funnily enough, last summer, the couple reportedly spent Independence Day weekend at the elite members-only club – a trip that saw no photos leak but which Kelce all but confirmed himself when he later wore a Yellowstone Club branded T-shirt on an episode of his New Heights podcast.

Sources with knowledge of the couple’s post-wedding movements have told the Daily Mail that the newlyweds were spotted at the Yellowstone Club in the days following their July 3 wedding.

Swift’s private jet was elsewhere, loaned to family friends with young children who were spotted at her $30 million ‘Holiday House’ in Rhode Island over the July 4th weekend.

The jet then headed to Bozeman International Airport in Montana, 50 miles from the Yellowstone Club, on Thursday.

Membership to the club requires owning property on-site, which spans 15,200 acres of private mountain terrain, with an initial membership fee of around $500,000 and annual dues of $78,000.

Bill Gates, Tom Brady and Mark Zuckerberg are all members, with nobody getting in without an explicit invitation.

Swift and Kelce regarded it as a trusted location for them to disappear.

They have enjoyed multiple trips to the club over the past two years and yet not a single photograph has ever emerged from inside the gates.

The only glimpses that have surfaced have come months after the fact, and when the couple decided to share them.

In March 2025, the pair spent time in Montana with friends, skiing and snow tubing with sports broadcasters Erin Andrews and Charissa Thompson.

Months later, Kelce posted a photo ‘dump’ to Instagram – 13 pictures, Swift’s lucky number –  including one shot of the pair bundled up in the snow, grinning at the camera.

Thompson added her own belated confirmation on New Year’s Eve: a photo of herself, Swift and Andrews on snow tubes. Kelce, who liked the post, was not pictured.

Now, the couple’s short mini-moon will soon turn into their first big debut as newlyweds – as they are expected at New York Giants wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster’s wedding in Orange County, California, this Saturday.

Swift’s jet appears set to carry them there – but after that, if those close to the couple are right, the real honeymoon begins.

Sources previously suggested that the couple plan to spend their full honeymoon island-hopping around Greece and wider Europe.

But they may be brought back to reality sooner than they had hoped, with Kelce due to report to the Chiefs training camp in St Joseph, Missouri, on July 29, ahead of the new NFL season. That gives the newlyweds a window of just 18 days to squeeze in the trip of a lifetime.

Trailblazing Astronaut and Aviation Icon Wally Funk Passes Away at 82

STILLWATER, Okla. (KFOR) – Wally Funk, who made history as the oldest woman to travel into space, has passed away at the age of 87. Her death was announced by officials in Grapevine, Texas, the city she called home.

The city reported that Funk passed peacefully on Wednesday night, with family and friends by her side.

Funk’s storied career in aviation spanned more than seventy years, during which she became a pivotal figure in NASA’s legacy. As one of the Mercury 13 in the 1960s, she pursued her dream of becoming an astronaut, despite NASA’s decision to end their women’s program, resulting in four rejections for Funk.

Her unwavering ambition finally paid off on July 20, 2021, when she joined Jeff Bezos aboard Blue Origin’s New Shepard NS-16 mission. At 82, she set a Guinness World Record as the oldest woman to venture into space.

“No one has waited longer,” Jeff Bezos remarked in an Instagram post, recognizing Funk as an “honored guest.” He warmly welcomed her to the crew, stating, “It’s time. Welcome to the crew, Wally.”

“The launch was so fantastic. You can’t believe it. We learned to sit in and out of our seats a lot. My seat was No. 3. And you have to strap, left, front, this one, this one and be completely buckled in hard,” Funk said afterward. “And they would come check and see if it was hard enough, and if it wasn’t hard enough, he would just do it for you. I sat there, and we took off, and it was fantastic.”

The Oklahoma State University (OSU) graduate is also a proud member of the Flying Aggies team.

Spending 62 miles above the Earth’s surface, Funk described the experience, saying, “When we got into space, it was so fabulous,” she told The McKnight Center crowd at OSU. “The whole flight was so easy; it was incredible.”

Funk is known for inspiring people around the world and holds a list of pilot certifications she earned at Oklahoma State University. While breaking the glass ceiling for women, Funk was also a dedicated member of the Oklahoma City-based Ninety-Nines International Organization for Women Pilots.

Funk’s other accomplishments include becoming the first female flight instructor at Fort Sill, Oklahoma; inspector for the FAA; and air safety investigator for the National Transportation Safety Board. As an instructor, Funk trained more than 3,000 pilots over more than 30,000 hours of flight time, the City of Grapevine said.

She stands in the Texas Aviation Hall of Fame and the Women in Aviation International Pioneer Hall of Fame, and is an Honorary Colonel of Louisiana. Posthumously, Funk will be inducted into the International Space Hall of Fame at the New Mexico Museum of Space History.

“You have to be your own person. Don’t let anyone tell you what you can and cannot do,” Funk said during an event at Oklahoma State honoring her accomplishments.

“Wally Funk’s unwavering determination proves that dreams have no expiration date,” said Grapevine City Councilwoman Duff O’Dell. “Her courage, resilience, and groundbreaking achievements continue to inspire young people—especially girls—to pursue careers in science, aviation, and space exploration. Grapevine is honored to call Wally Funk one of our own.”

Funeral arrangements for Funk have not been released at this time.

Carmelo Anthony Pushes for New Trial: Calls for Judge’s Replacement

Karmelo Anthony is pushing for a retrial.

Russell Wilson II, the new head of Anthony’s legal defense team, has initiated proceedings for a retrial. In addition, they are seeking the dismissal of Judge John Roach following Anthony’s murder conviction last month, as reported by Fox4.

At 19 years old, Anthony received a 35-year prison sentence after being found guilty of fatally shooting 17-year-old Austin Metcalf during a dispute at a 2025 track meet.

In a detailed 63-page document, Anthony’s legal team claims that his right to a fair trial was compromised. They argued that the trial judge’s decision to prohibit cameras from the courtroom restricted public attendance to just 27 seats, infringing on his rights.

The document also criticized the gag order implemented before the trial, which led to pre-trial proceedings occurring behind closed doors, hidden from the public eye, according to CourtTV.

Anthony’s attorneys also referenced the prosecution’s alleged proposal—which was never formally written out—to “try the case clean” by keeping the case just to the events that happened that day, without offering character witnesses by either the prosecution or the defense, according to the court records.

As a result, the defense argued in the motion, per CourtTV, that they were unable to call an expert witness to explain how Anthony’s epilepsy could have influenced his actions, nor a forensic psychologist.

Anthony’s defense team also alleged that Anthony planned to testify himself about what happened that day. Yet, they argued in the motion that on the last day of the murder trial, the prosecution said the agreement they’d reached wouldn’t cover Anthony’s testimony, forcing him to decide between taking the stand and risk opening the door to other potentially damaging evidence or remain silent, FOX4 reported.

They also raised concerns that the instructions given to the jury made it difficult for them to consider his claim that the stabbing had been in self-defense.

Oxygen reached out to Collin County prosecutors and Wilson, but did not receive an immediate response.

Karmelo Anthony’s Attorneys Ask For Removal of Trial Judge

The teen’s attorneys also filed a separate motion asking for Roach’s removal in any future appellate proceedings.

They argued in that motion, also obtained by FOX4, that Roach “expressed personal opinions about the propriety and correctness of the jury’s verdict, the fairness of the trial and the correctness of the judge’s own rulings during the trial” while speaking with the media.

When asked by a reporter if the jury got it right, he replied in an interview streamed by WFAA, “Yeah, they did.”

“Because they were picked based upon the law,” he said at the time. “They listened to the facts, that happened here in this very courtroom and they got a verdict.”

Anthony’s attorneys argued in the motion, per FOX4, that he went on to add that he was “proud” of his decision to dismiss three Black potential jurors because he was following the law “to a T.”

Though he knew the decision could be viewed poorly, he added that his job was not to “satisfy perceptions,” but rather follow the law, according to the news outlet.

Oxygen reached out to Roach’s office for a response to the claims made in the court documents, but did not receive a reply.

Roach previously defended his decision not to allow cameras in the trial in a statement to Fox News.

“The overwhelming focus on my ruling regarding the media in courtroom was to protect the process, witnesses, and jury,” he said. “Now that the trial is over, it is important to me to provide transparency.”

Shocking Texts Reveal Alleged Confession and Apology from Charlie Kirk’s Accused Assassin, Agent Testifies

0

PROVO, Utah – In a stunning development, Tyler Robinson allegedly confessed in text messages to his roommate about the assassination of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk. Following the September 10, 2025, shooting, Robinson apologized for his actions, citing that he could no longer tolerate Kirk’s perceived hatred and felt compelled to act, according to testimony presented Thursday at his preliminary hearing.

Agent Brian Davis of the Utah State Bureau of Investigation provided testimony in court by reading excerpts from the text messages. The prosecution is building their case against the 23-year-old Robinson, who stands accused of murdering Kirk outside a “Prove Me Wrong” event held at Utah Valley University in Orem.

In court, Davis relayed how Robinson had sent an urgent message to his roommate, Lance Twiggs, instructing, “Stop what you’re doing. Look under the keyboard,” shortly following the incident.

The courtroom heard Davis read another purported message from Robinson that further added context to the shocking event.

“I’m still okay, my love, but I’m stuck in Orem for a little while longer yet. Shouldn’t be long until I can come home, but gotta grab my rifle,” the message read. “Still, to be honest, I had hoped to keep this secret till I died of old age. I am sorry to involve you.”

Twiggs allegedly replied, “You weren’t the one who did it, right?”

“I am. I’m sorry.”

After Twiggs wrote, “I thought they caught the person,” Davis read Robinson’s alleged response.

“No, they grabbed some crazy old dude, then interrogated someone in similar clothing. I had planned to grab my rifle from the drop point shortly after, but most of that side of town got locked down,” Davis read. “It’s quiet, almost enough to get out, but there’s one vehicle lingering.”

When Twiggs asked why Robinson carried out the shooting, Davis testified Robinson replied: “I had enough of his hatred. Some hate can’t be negotiated out. If I’m able to grab my rifle unseen, I will have left no evidence. Going to attempt to retrieve it again. Hopefully they have moved on.”

Robinson added, “I haven’t seen anything in the news about them finding it. We’ll update you by midnight.”

After Twiggs asked how long he had been planning the shooting, Davis read Robinson’s response: “A bit over a week. I believe I can get close to it, but there is a squad car parked right by it. I think they already swept that spot, but I don’t want to chance it.”

Davis also read messages in which Robinson allegedly described trying to recover the rifle.

“While they were parked there, if they had found it, I imagine there would be more commotion. Again, I’m sorry for roping you into all of this. You shouldn’t have to worry about this.”

When Twiggs asked why Robinson left the rifle behind, Davis read his alleged response.

“I worry about prints. I had to leave it in a bush where I changed outfits, didn’t have the ability or time to bring it with.”

According to Davis, Robinson later wrote, “I’ll bet that K-9 sniffed it out. We replace it? Unlikely. I don’t fully know what the gun was because it was old as s— and Gramps did some modifying.”

He also referenced bullets he had engraved before the shooting.

“Remember how I was engraving bullets? The f—— messages are mostly a big meme. If I see notices… on Fox News, I might have a stroke.”

The exchange concluded with Robinson allegedly writing, “No, my dad wanted to use a high caliber for the rifle hunt. Judging from today, I say Gramps’ gun does just fine.”

Davis testified that Robinson then instructed Twiggs: “Delete this exchange.”

Davis also testified Robinson later texted, “I’m going to turn myself in willingly. One of my neighbors here is a deputy for the sheriff. We hope to keep things sort of quiet here.”

The final message Davis read from the exchange stated: “If any police ask you questions, ask for a lawyer and stay silent. My lawyer should be Doug Terry. I’ll see if he can reach out to you and make sure the police follow.”

Discover If Evil Dead Burn Features a Post-Credits Scene

After a 20-year break, the “Evil Dead” series made a memorable return in 2013, treating fans to its first-ever post-credits scene. This scene featured a quirky cameo from Bruce Campbell, who delighted audiences by reprising his famed role as Ash Williams. Naturally, when “Evil Dead Burn” hit theaters, fans stayed in their seats, hoping for another post-credits surprise. This anticipation followed 2023’s “Evil Dead Rise,” which teased viewers with only the sound of a buzzing fly, a familiar audio cue for long-time followers. This time, viewers are in for more than just sound, as “Evil Dead Burn” does include a scene after the credits roll. While specifics are under wraps, it’s been revealed that the scene nods to a previous installment in this iconic horror saga.

Those considering a quick exit during the credits may want to reconsider. Midway through, there’s a particularly amusing scene that cleverly resolves the fate of a character from “Burn.” True to “Evil Dead” style, this moment is drenched in blood and dark humor. Detailing further could spoil the surprise of which characters succumb to becoming Deadites and who survives. However, die-hard fans owe it to themselves to stick around for this slice of splatter comedy, even if it doesn’t directly hint at future plotlines within the franchise.

What’s next for Evil Dead?

While we won’t delve into the details of these scenes here, it’s worth mentioning they don’t serve as a direct lead-in to the upcoming film “Evil Dead Wrath,” set to release on April 7, 2028. Though the shooting for “Wrath,” completed in Auckland, New Zealand in May, wraps in just three months, there’s speculation the release could be pushed sooner. Box office projections indicate that “Burn” might rake in between $30 and $40 million upon opening, surpassing “Rise’s” $23.5 million debut. Such momentum could tempt Warner Bros. and New Line to speed up the timeline.

Details about the next movie remain sparse, with producer Robert Tapert teasing that it’s set to be a prequel. In a conversation with Dread Central, Tapert shared, “This is yet another great departure. It predates everything. It takes place in 1972.” He mentioned that the filmmakers aim for an authentic ’70s vibe, striving to replicate the era’s exploitation films’ aesthetics using Ektachrome 100, a film stock popular at the time.

Tapert’s revelations hint at a potentially contentious prequel, as he noted the inclusion of “a lot of coming-of-age sexual hijinks,” predicting it might face challenges from the MPAA akin to the original “Evil Dead,” which faced bans and censorship in some countries. While awaiting “Evil Dead Wrath,” it might be enjoyable to revisit some classic ’70s horror movies that remain impactful today to set the mood.
