Josh Jacobs faces charges of misdemeanor battery and misdemeanor criminal damage to property following revelations from a police report detailing the alleged events that led to his arrest.

The Green Bay Packers running back spent a night in jail after voluntarily surrendering to the authorities and now risks a potential suspension from the NFL.

According to an incident report about an alleged altercation with his girlfriend—triggered by her discovering him communicating with other women—Jacobs reportedly grabbed her and threw her to the ground, causing her to hit her head and sustain an injury. Authorities have confirmed they obtained surveillance footage to back her account.

Jacobs has been formally charged, although he has not been charged with any felonies, and the charges do not include domestic violence.

NFL spokesperson Brian McCarthy addressed the situation, stating, “We have been closely monitoring all developments in the matter which remains under review.”

Jacobs turned himself in on May 26 and was arrested by Hobart/Lawrence police before being released without charges from Brown County Jail the following day. The district attorney’s office said more evidence was needed before prosecutors decided whether to file charges.

A news release from police at the time said they responded to a disturbance involving Jacobs on May 23. Police listed the charges they arrested him on, which included felony strangulation, battery – domestic abuse, criminal damage to property – domestic abuse, disorderly conduct – domestic abuse, and intimidation of a victim.

A new statement read: ‘Today, August 27, 2026, the Brown County District Attorney’s Office filed a criminal complaint charging Joshua Jacobs with two criminal offenses.

‘Our office sought to ensure a fair and complete review of available evidence, some of which only recently became available to our office due to significant, ongoing forensic efforts by law enforcement.

‘A criminal complaint is nothing more than a written, formal accusation against a defendant alleging the commission of criminal offenses and does not raise any inference of guilt. 

‘Mr. Jacobs is presumed innocent of these charges. As this is an ongoing criminal case, and out of respect for the rights of all parties, our office will not have further comment on the matter at this time.’

Josh Jacobs’ attorneys, David Z. Chesnoff, Richard A. Schonfeld and Clarence F. Duchac III, said: ‘The Brown County District Attorney has reviewed evidence and elected to file misdemeanor charges against Josh that do not include domestic violence.

‘The allegations will be addressed in court, and not in the media. Mr. Jacobs respects the District Attorney’s office and the process it followed.’ 

An incident report that has just been released by police reveals officers were dispatched to a residence belonging to Jacobs in Hobart, Brown County, Wisconsin at approximately 8:37am on May 23 after reports of a disturbance.

Officers made contact with an adult male who stated he lived at the property, and said he was not aware of an altercation. He said Jacobs’ girlfriend had left the house on foot while Jacobs left in his vehicle.

Dispatch then informed officers that Jacobs’ girlfriend was at a neighbors house on the phone with Brown County dispatch and had indicated she had a lump on her head she alleged was caused by Jacobs’ actions.

She told officers she ‘had been looking through Jacobs’ phone and saw that he was talking to other girls’ and said she threw his phone as she was upset. She alleged a ‘physical struggle, which lasted several minutes’ began when she tried to retrieve her phone from Jacobs and he ‘grabbed her arm’.

She claimed Jacobs left with her phone in a vehicle and she followed him in his other vehicle ‘in an attempt to retrieve’ it. After returning to the house, she alleges that ‘Jacobs called her a derogatory name’ and ‘made some comment to the effect that he would ‘do something to her’.’

While trying to exit the garage door to leave, she alleges ‘Jacobs grabbed her and threw her to the ground and she struck her head, suffering an injury. Jacobs then took her phone from her while she was on the ground’.

She claims she ‘struggled to walk back into the house’, while the police report states: ‘Officer Peterson observed redness’ to her ‘face and neck, and was able to feel that she had a bump on the back of her head. She described that she was in pain as a result of the injuries’

Jacobs ultimately turned himself in to police three days later. Police say they were able to retrieve video surveillance footage from the garage and that ‘the complainant believes this complaint to be true and correct.’

Earlier this week, Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst admitted the team could keep an extra running back on the roster due to the risk of losing him to suspension.

‘We could. You usually keep 3 or 4 running backs, and I think we have enough to do that.’

Jacobs was back in practice exactly a week after spending time behind bars as he took part in Packers OTAs earlier this offseason.

At the time, head coach Matt LaFleur said it was ‘business as usual’ with Jacobs despite the accusations that have been made against him.

Quarterback Jordan Love also revealed they have ‘talked internally’ about his teammate’s situation off the field.

‘You know everyone knows what the situation is there,’ Love added. ‘But obviously the details are… everyone is keeping the details under wraps right now out of respect for the situation and all the legal stuff that will be playing out, but it’s great to have Josh here with us and get back to work.’

A pastor and massage therapist from California has entered a plea of not guilty in response to allegations of molesting two children, both under the age of 14, over a prolonged period, as announced by prosecutors.

The individual in question, 58-year-old David Johnson from Ojai, is facing six felony charges related to child molestation, according to the Ventura County District Attorney’s Office.

Authorities are currently probing for any additional victims and are encouraging anyone with information about Johnson or other potential, unreported offenses to step forward.

Johnson stands accused of abusing two minors who were under 14 years old at the time the alleged incidents took place.

Prosecutors stated that this purported abuse spanned several years and occurred in both Ojai and Oxnard.

Johnson, who worked as both a pastor and massage therapist, had access to the children through a familial relationship, according to prosecutors.

Authorities have not publicly identified the children.

Johnson faces four felony counts of committing a lewd act upon a child and two felony counts of continuous sexual abuse.

Prosecutors have also filed special allegations involving substantial sexual conduct and the victims being under 14 years old, according to the district attorney’s office.

Johnson was arrested Monday on charges of child molestation by the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office, according to sheriff’s inmate records.

The records show Johnson was arrested shortly before 3 p.m. and booked into the Ventura County Main Jail later that evening.

Johnson appeared in Ventura County Superior Court for his arraignment and pleaded not guilty to all six charges.

He remains in custody without bail and is scheduled to return to Ventura County Superior Court on Friday for a bail review hearing.

Deputy District Attorney Cesar Ponce of the Ventura County District Attorney’s Office Sexual Assault Unit is prosecuting the case.

Investigators have not said publicly how many additional victims they believe there could be.

The district attorney’s office is asking anyone with information about the case or other possible unreported crimes involving Johnson to contact Ventura County Sheriff’s Office Detective Michael Loth at 805-384-4745.

Images have surfaced showing an £80,000 Mercedes-Benz V220d driving away from the airport just 20 minutes following their midday touchdown. The exclusive aircraft facilitated their swift arrival in the UK.

While Harry and Meghan’s faces are obscured in these images, it is believed they were seated in the rear of the vehicle, with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet situated further back, providing family privacy and comfort.

Occupying the front passenger seat was David Langdown, Harry’s security consultant, who is reputed to have assembled a specialized team of British security personnel to ensure the family’s safety during their stay.

A witness told the Daily Mail that three cars arrived at the airport at 10am before being driven out towards the runway just after 11am, where they waited for the plane.

The jet landed at Birmingham at 11.57am before taxiing into an area of the airport run by a firm called Signature Aviation, which offers private aircraft ground handling.

The plane was met by ground crew before being moved into another area of the airport, and the three vehicles followed behind before parking next to its steps. 

By about 12.15pm, the Mercedes car left while the other two vehicles stayed on the Tarmac to be loaded up with baggage before leaving 40 minutes later.

The Sussexes are understood to have been given no police protection for their arrival, amid ongoing questions over whether taxpayers will foot the bill for their security.

They chartered the jet with Planet Nine Private Air, a California-based private aircraft operator. Hiring it is believed to cost about $12,000 (£9,000) per hour of flight time.

A man and a woman are under investigation for allegedly burglarizing a high-end townhome in South Florida, a property belonging to a couple tragically killed in a helicopter crash in Kenya.

Authorities arrested Geybert Alexander Garcia, aged 40, and 24-year-old Melany Pavon Perdomo on August 25. According to court documents and records from Miami-Dade, reviewed by News Media, Garcia holds U.S. citizenship, whereas Perdomo is detained under immigration regulations.

The accused duo allegedly made off with two upscale cars, important personal papers, and valuable items including costly jewelry and a piece of art—a sculpture with a valuation of over $500,000—from the residence of Henry Parra and Adam Hlavaty. Parra, 55, and Hlavaty, 42, were among the seven victims of a safari helicopter crash on August 19 in northern Kenya. The luxurious property is valued at nearly $3 million.

According to the Associated Press, citing Kenya’s civil aviation authority, the ill-fated helicopter was en route from the Loisaba Conservancy to the Ewaso Nyiro area in Samburu County when it crashed in a rugged terrain near Mount Ololokwe. The exact cause of the crash is still under investigation.

The U.S. State Department said five of the people killed were U.S. citizens. The crash also killed Miami restaurateur Roger Duarte; José Suárez, who led Telemundo-owned stations in several Florida markets; Ecuador’s intelligence chief, Michele Sensi-Contugi; his wife, fashion designer Stephany Hollihan; and the pilot, Josh Outram.

Parra, a former Navy aviation support technician, later co-founded and managed an aviation maintenance company. Hlavaty was a real estate executive and co-founder of a development company.

“They were a loving couple who cherished their time together, especially traveling, making memories, and enjoying life with their family and friends,” friends said in a statement obtained by WSVN. “They were hardworking, generous, and deeply committed to serving and giving back to their community.”

According to the affidavit, the couple left their South Florida home Aug. 12 and had arranged for their housekeeper to visit daily. Investigators determined that the home and its contents were intact after the couple died, police said.

Between the afternoon of Aug. 20 and Aug. 22, someone entered the residence, ransacked it and took personal and business documents, jewelry, electronics and artwork, the affidavit says. Police also reported the theft of a 2023 Land Rover Range Rover and a 2020 Porsche Taycan.

Investigators used Apple’s Find My service to trace a stolen MacBook to a residence in northwest Miami-Dade, according to the complaint. Location information from a spare key and the Range Rover’s app also pointed to the same area, police said.

Officers found both vehicles parked near the residence, obtained a search warrant and found Garcia hiding in a second-floor closet, the affidavit says. Perdomo was found in another upstairs bedroom, police said.

The complaint alleges officers recovered documents belonging to the victims, a key fob for the Range Rover and several valuable artworks, including the sculpture. It also says officers found materials consistent with producing or altering fraudulent identification documents.

Garcia is charged with burglary of an unoccupied dwelling, two counts of grand theft of a vehicle and first-degree grand theft.

Perdomo is charged with burglary of an unoccupied dwelling and two first-degree grand theft counts. Their arraignments are scheduled for Sept. 28.

News Media has requested additional information from ICE. An attorney for Garcia and Perdomo was not immediately available.

The duo’s night out comes months after they were both being sued by their former assistant Leslie Kuhn for allegedly creating a hostile work environment.

Kuhn started working with the former “America’s Got Talent” host in 2022 as an office manager for his Sirius XM show, “The Howard Stern Show.” She worked her way up to become his executive assistant, but was terminated earlier this year.

Kuhn filed the lawsuit in April, detailing the “immense pressure” of managing Howard and Beth’s Southampton home, as well as helping the latter run an “extensive at-home feline rescue and fostering operations.” 

She also claimed Howard’s production company, One Twelve, presented her with a nondisclosure agreement that she denies ever signing. Kuhn claimed that both the reasons she was fired and the NDA were “manufactured by the Defendants in general and Beth Stern in particular.”

Weeks later, Howard, 72, filed to dismiss his ex-assistant’s lawsuit against himself and Beth for $2.5 million in damages.

He dubbed the lawsuit a “shakedown” and “transparent sham,” in court documents obtained by Page Six.

“The Sterns are entitled to enforce non-disclosure agreements signed by employees who enter their home and their private life,” his lawyer told us at the time.

Last month, Howard and Beth, 54, scored a legal victory when a judge ruled against Kuhn’s allegations that the radio host’s production company had forged NDAs with her name.

However, Howard found himself in more hot water after he laid off around a dozen staffers from his SiriusXM show last month, as Page Six exclusively reported.

Many of his former employees are reportedly now fighting for more severance.

In light of a controversial advertisement, Callaway has severed ties with Good Good Golf, a decision that follows a tidal wave of criticism.

The uproar centered around a video from Good Good, a popular YouTube channel turned business success story, which depicted co-founder Garrett Clark aggressively pushing a female co-host to the floor, sparking significant backlash.

In response, both Callaway and Good Good quickly removed the ad from all channels and issued heartfelt apologies to address the situation.

However, on Thursday, Callaway made the decision to publicly announce the immediate termination of its partnership with Good Good.

The renowned golf company expressed, “In recent days, we’ve taken the time to listen and contemplate deeply on the negative impact caused by the video we shared.”

‘We heard from individuals who shared personal experiences related to violence against women, and their stories were powerful reminders that this issue touches the lives of far too many people.

‘Unequivocally, violence against women is unacceptable and should never be trivialized, normalized, or used as entertainment.’

Callaway revealed that it had completed a ‘review’ of the saga and would take several steps beyond cutting ties with Good Good.

‘In this instance, our content review process was not comprehensive enough. We have taken appropriate internal corrective actions and significantly strengthened our approval procedures to help ensure this doesn’t happen again,’ the statement continued.

‘We are committing $1million to support organizations working to prevent violence against women, provide resources to survivors, and advance education and awareness efforts.

‘These actions do not undo the harm caused or excuse our role in it. We sincerely apologize to everyone who was hurt, disappointed, or offended by this incident.

‘One of Callaway Golf’s core values is to be a positive influence, both in the game of golf and in our communities. We are further strengthening our commitment to these initiatives, and this will be an ongoing focus in our company. We are committed to learning from this incident and helping ensure that golf is a place where everyone feels respected, valued, and welcome.’

The full-60 second ad – for the Good Good-branded Callaway Quantum driver – was supposed to be a spoof of the popular horror movie ‘Obsession.’

But the opening of the advertisement shows Clark rushing over and body-checking Good Good member Alexis Miestowski as she reached for the golf club.

As Miestowski lay flat on her back on the ground, Clark is seen standing over before angrily saying: ‘Do not touch my new driver.’

The rest of the ad shows other members of the content team somehow becoming possessed by the golf club before the video ends.

In a video released following the backlash, Clark apologized and even called the commercial the ‘worst ad known to man’ – despite being the person at the center of the controversy.

‘I wanted to first start by saying, I personally want to apologize for playing the role in this skit, in this ad, at the magnitude that I did, and then on Good Good’s behalf and Good Good marketing team’s behalf, I wanted to say an apology as well because this is not at all what we stand for,’ he began.

‘Once again, I want everyone to know that I do not support DV [domestic violence] abuse or any of that, of any kind. So that’s the first thing I want to say, and I also wanted to offer you guys some clarity on the situation, if you guys are willing to hear.’

Clark added that the ad was supposed to draw inspiration from the popular horror movie but clearly missed the mark.

‘Looking back, super dumb ad concept,’ he admitted. ‘Terrible ad in general, not the greatest idea.’

He was also keen to drive home the point that it was a ‘complete skit’ and ‘I didn’t actually tackle a woman’, adding: ‘I never would, and I didn’t.’  

Clark went on to tell his followers: ‘Once I watched it back and it got posted, my skin was crawling. I was cringing. 

‘I mean, just even minutes after I saw it get posted, before this surfaced everywhere online, I thought it was the worst ad known to man. 

‘The beginning of the ad was very intense with the way that that was pushed out there, and just not good all around. Not good. So I wanted to say that.’

He then went on to defend Miestowski – the woman pushed to the ground in the clip – and asked for abuse to be directed at him rather than her.

‘Her DMs have been, I think, completely unacceptable,’ he said. ‘I know Alexis is struggling with a lot of this… put it towards me personally. I can handle it. If you want to leave them in these these comments, you’re welcome to.

‘If you got any left in the tank, give Good Good some hate. You can give me some hate in the comments down below.

‘I do sincerely apologize for playing the role that I did in that ad, and I want you guys to know that I in no way, shape, or form support DV abuse or anything of the sort.’

Backlash against the video was swift and came not only from golf fans but also by other brands that carried the products of the content creators – or those who collaborated with them.

On Tuesday, the Golf Channel posted a statement to reveal that the premiere of ‘Big Break x Good Good’ was being pushed back a week, after one of the show’s sponsors requested that its branding be removed from the series.

Although Golf Channel did not identify the sponsor, multiple reports said it was retailer Golf Galaxy, which had been listed as a presenting sponsor of the show.

Hours later, images and reports began surfacing showing that Golf Galaxy and Dick’s Sporting Goods had begun pulling all Good Good products from their shelves.

As criticism began to spiral, Good Good released a statement which read: ‘We posted a video to our channels that ultimately depicted actions that are not aligned with our values as a brand. We have since taken that content down and sincerely apologize.’

The statement added: ‘Good Good has always stood for making the game of golf more inclusive to all, and we will continue to ensure that is our mission moving forward.’

Good Good rose from the Covid-era golf boom and is one of the sport’s most popular content creators, boasting over two million subscribers on YouTube. The cast of the group has changed since inception, but formerly included the likes of pro golfer Luke Kwon and YouTube golfer Grant Horvat.

Their stock rose so much that Good Good was named the title sponsor of a new PGA Tour event in Austin, Texas, this fall. Since the controversy, calls have grown to pull their sponsorship.

In the aftermath of the video’s release, PGA Tour bosses quickly expressed disappointment. On Tuesday, CEO Brian Rolapp was asked if Good Good took enough accountability.

‘Initially, no,’ Rolapp said. ‘I think what we saw was concerning and clearly not aligned with the PGA Tour values. We take it very seriously. 

‘I think their initial response was disappointing. It was a little bit defensive and late. But I think the responses are getting better. We’ve had some conversations with them, so we’ll continue to monitor and work with them going forward.’

Asked if it would affect their title sponsorship, Rolapp described it as a ‘fluid situation.’

‘We’ll continue to monitor the situation and see how it develops,’ he said.

Outrage has erupted amongst Democratic senators Elissa Slotkin and Jacky Rosen over Piker’s inflammatory statements, which they argue unjustly target Jewish Americans. Piker’s assertion that American Jews are bound to face violence due to their support of Israel prompted a strong rebuke from lawmakers, who accused the influencer of victim-blaming and warned that such rhetoric only serves to escalate antisemitic hate crimes and political violence in the United States.
