A wave of demonstrators gathered at an Oregon hotel where they believed FBI Director Kash Patel was lodging while in town for a funeral over the weekend.

Footage shared across social media captured the crowd vociferously assembling outside the Sentinel Hotel in downtown Portland on Saturday night.

The protesters rallied to voice their disapproval of what they termed as the FBI’s “weaponization” under the leadership of President Donald Trump’s administration. Additionally, they criticized Patel’s management of documents related to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, as reported by FOX 12 Oregon. Read more here.

However, it remains uncertain which hotel Patel was actually residing in.

Sources confirmed to Fox News Digital that Patel and his girlfriend Alexis Wilkins were in town over the weekend to attend a funeral for a close friend.

Patel helped carry the friend’s casket during the service, sources said. The funeral was scheduled for Saturday and set to take place in Portland, according to an obituary shared with Fox News.

The protesters obtained Patel’s suspected travel itinerary using publicly available tracking data to follow a Department of Justice aircraft believed to be connected to the FBI director, FOX 12 reported.

Demonstrators then reportedly narrowed down the hotel in which Patel was believed to be a guest by observing security measures throughout the downtown area.

“It wasn’t 100% confirmed but very likely he was at the Sentinel,” one protester told FOX 12. “We were there to protest the weaponization of Trump’s and Patel’s FBI to suppress our freedom of speech and freedom of press.”

Fox News Digital reached out to the Department of Justice, Sentinel Hotel, Portland Police Bureau and FBI for comment.

“Euphoria” is once again stirring controversy as Sydney Sweeney’s recent performance features one of the season’s most provocative scenes.

In the latest episode, which aired on Sunday night, Sweeney’s character, Cassie Howard, engages in an explicit online performance for her OnlyFans subscribers. Sporting a revealing polka dot bodysuit, Cassie is seen jumping rope, using a pleasure device, sending her used underwear to subscribers, and even sucking her own toe for a video.

The tension comes to a head when Cassie reaches her breaking point after a subscriber makes an unusual request, offering $700 for her to “fart into a jar.”

The episode sparked a flurry of reactions on social media platform X.

“Sydney Sweeney, surely they can’t be paying you enough for all this. The money can’t be that good,” one user commented.

Another added, “Does Sydney Sweeney really like doing this much nudity? Like I won’t police a woman if she enjoys this but woah #euphoria.”

Many called out “Euphoria” for taking this episode “too far.”

“#euphoria has gone too far WTF,” one user wrote. Another added, “the oversexuality of Cassie is ruining Euphoria for me.”

Cassie also embarked on a press tour after skyrocketing to fame thanks to her OnlyFans career. In one clip, Cassie appears as a guest on Trisha Paytas’ online show, where she leans into her views on modern political discourse.

“If a man today were to say that he wants a girlfriend who can cook or clean, he might as well be screaming the N-word,” Cassie tells Paytas.

An off-camera voice responds, “You sound like a Democrat.” Cassie laughs before replying with a derogatory slur: “I’m not r——-.”

In another clip, Cassie adds, “I just feel like American men have been treated like second-class citizens.”

“In the past, men used to be hunters, gatherers, and protectors. Now, they’re being forced to walk around on their tippy toes. It’s not natural,” she continues.

Fox News Digital has reached out to HBO for comment.

Later in the episode, Alexa Demie’s character, Maddy Perez, tells Cassie: “You know what’s funny? The angrier these idiots get, the more money you make.”

Some social media users speculated that Sweeney was “not acting” in the episode and that her personal political beliefs were being reflected on screen.

Over the past several years, Sweeney has been at the center of politically charged controversies, including her American Eagle campaign and her mother’s “MAGA”-themed birthday party.

“Sydney Sweeney has infuriated the left once again,” one user wrote on X.

“Time when actors weren’t acting,” another user commented on Instagram. A third added, “To be honest, is Sydney Sweeney acting at this point??”

Others pushed back, noting that Sweeney is portraying a fictional character and that her lines should not be conflated with her real-life views.

“So we’re mad about the political views of fictional characters now?” one user wrote. “Libs will be angry about a fake TV show character,” another added.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle recently whisked their children, Archie and Lilibet, off to Disneyland for an enchanting double birthday celebration, capturing memorable moments to share on Instagram.

According to a source close to the Sussexes, who spoke with People magazine, a favored outlet for the couple in the U.S., the family was there to honor the children’s birthdays together. The insider revealed, “The kids enjoyed plenty of rides,” making the day a magical experience for the young royals.

‘They were celebrating the kids’ birthdays together. The kids did lots of rides,’ a Sussex insider told People, the couple’s preferred publication in the US.

Doria Ragland also came along to the theme park in Anaheim, California, yesterday. 

Meghan apparently invited her as a way to extend their joint Mother’s Day celebrations from Sunday.

The Disney trip mirrored the one from last year, when Lilibet turned four.

Born on May 6, 2019, at London’s private Portland Hospital – rather than the traditional Lindo Wing at St Mary’s Hospital – the Sussexes chose to deviate from royal convention by refusing the traditional press photo call.

But the greatest scandal surrounding the young royal’s birth seemed to relate to his title. Or, indeed, lack thereof.

Shortly after Archie’s birth, Meghan announced that Archie would be a ‘private citizen’ without a title as they did not want the youngster to be bound by convention.

The couple were insistent that they wanted their son to be known as plain ‘Mister Archie’ and not bear the title of royal, which was done to help preserve his privacy.

When Harry and Meghan made the unprecedented decision to give up their royal roles in 2020, it was unknown what the future would look like for their son Archie, who at that time did not hold a title.

At the time, journalists such as Omid Scobie, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s future biographer, gushed that this decision was ‘all part’ of their desire to give their son ‘as normal a life as possible’.

Archie and Lilibet were not ‘prince’ and ‘princess’ at birth because they were not grandchildren of the monarch at the time. But they gained the right to these titles when King Charles acceded to the throne in 2022.

Harry and Meghan are understood to be keen to not deny their children, Archie and Lilibet, their birthright, but to allow them the chance to decide for themselves when they are older whether to drop or keep using their titles.

King Charles has reportedly only met Archie a few times and Lilibet only once, in 2022. 

In Tucson, Arizona, the community remains on edge as the search for 84-year-old Nancy Guthrie reaches a grim milestone of 100 days. Authorities admit they have no new leads in the case, while volunteers eager to assist find themselves sidelined. Guthrie’s disappearance from her Catalina Foothills home, a posh area just north of Tucson, occurred under mysterious circumstances in the early hours of February 1. Surveillance footage captured a masked figure on her doorstep, but no suspects have been officially identified.

Josh Gill, a key figure in the United Cajun Navy, a nonprofit known for its search and rescue efforts across the United States, expressed the group’s desire to contribute. “Our only goal is to help and find Nancy Guthrie,” Gill stated. The Louisiana-based organization has a track record of success, most recently aiding in the recovery of 14-year-old Heaven Bruno in Louisiana, who was located after being missing for 67 days. This breakthrough came after a follower of UCN’s social media saw a post about Bruno and reported a sighting to local authorities, who subsequently found her safe.

UCN has participated in several other successful searches recently, including one that found missing Louisiana 14-year-old Heaven Bruno after 67 days, Gill said. A tipster who follows UCN social media posts sharing coverage of her disappearance and reported a potential sighting to state police, who found her alive, Gill said.

“They found her and reported it,” he told Fox News Digital, adding that’s not the first time someone saw a UCN post about a case before calling in a tip that helped crack it.

Another group, Madres Buscadoras de Sonora (Searching Mothers of Sonora), has also asked for permission to help.

Fox News Digital asked the Pima County Sheriff’s Department for details about air and ground searches last week; however, they declined to discuss anything beyond what investigators shared with the public back on Feb. 2.

“We had a map in the initial press conference on the screens for the initial search,” a spokesperson said. “I’ve been advised that we do not have any additional information to provide.”

That map appears to show the search heavily focused on Guthrie’s immediate neighborhood. The colored lines represent ground searches. Two rings showed the general area of ground covered by helicopter and plane.

On Saturday, Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos told Fox News Digital that his investigators are getting closer to solving the case. He did not elaborate, however.

The most recent publicly known development is that a private lab in Florida that received DNA evidence from inside Guthrie’s home back in February had transferred the sample to the FBI for more advanced analysis after 11 weeks.

The case entered its 14th week Sunday.

Speaking with Fox News’ Jonathan Hunt Monday, Nanos said investigators were still working with the labs and following up on leads.

“There is really nothing new,” he said.

Gill’s group previously sent a 41-page proposal to the sheriff’s department, seeking an official blessing from authorities before sending volunteers with K9s, drones and medical equipment. However, he told Fox News Digital that despite offering to revise the plan and a Change.org petition asking the sheriff to invite them in, the group has received “zero response.”

“At this point, I can’t imagine saying no to anyone offering help,” said Bob Krygier, a retired Pima County Sheriff’s Department lieutenant who has been following the case. “Those are just extra feet on the ground that I don’t have to pay, quite honestly.”

Jason Pack, a retired FBI supervisory agent, said task force investigators are likely still making progress behind the scenes.

“If investigators are still reviewing evidence, revisiting timelines and pushing forensic analysis forward, then the case is still moving, even if most of that movement happens far from television cameras and social media speculation,” he told Fox News Digital. “And sometimes the most important breakthroughs happen quietly long before the public ever hears a word about them.”

There’s a combined reward of more than $1.2 million that remains unclaimed. The family is urging anyone with information to dial 1-800-CALL-FBI.
