Fighter Jet Crashes During Air Show, Killing Two Pilots as Spectators Watch

0

A weekend air show near Athens ended in tragedy Saturday after a Greek air force jet crashed in front of thousands of spectators.

The accident at Tanagra Air Force Base killed both pilots aboard the aircraft, though officials said no civilians were injured.

The two-seat Hellenic Air Force F-4 Phantom went down during a low-altitude maneuver, striking the ground just meters above the runway area.

“The sense of grief is widespread, and our thoughts are with the families of the two pilots we lost,” Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis said. “It is a reminder of the daily danger faced by Greece’s aviators, who remain on constant standby to protect Greece’s skies.”

The jet burst into flames on impact, sending up a large plume of black smoke, prompting 11 water-dropping planes and helicopters to assist 85 firefighters in extinguishing the blaze.

Video of the crash showed a second ball of fire nearby as the plane broke apart.

The bodies of the pilots were eventually recovered.

“We were all stunned. It hadn’t been airborne for more than three minutes,” an eyewitness told ERT, Greece’s state-owned broadcaster.

The crash happened during the country’s annual Athens Flying Week.

The organizers canceled the rest of the events following the incident and the area was evacuated.

“It is with deep sadness that I learned of the death of the two officers of the Hellenic Air Force, who lost their lives in the tragic accident that occurred during the air show at Tanagra Air Base,” Cyprus’ Defense Minister Vasilis Palmas said, adding that he had called Nikos Dendias, Greece’s Minister of National Defense.

The air force has declared three days of mourning in the country.

In May, two jets collided during an air show in Idaho, but the pilots were able to safely eject.

Seattle Mayor’s Texts Reveal Turmoil After Mass Shooting

0

Text messages from Seattle Mayor Katie Wilson and members of her staff have exposed deep turmoil inside City Hall, revealing tensions between the mayor’s office and other government agencies in the aftermath of a deadly mass shooting.

Wilson, a 44-year-old Democratic Socialist, and her team appeared to unravel in the hours after three people were killed at Seattle Center in July, according to messages obtained by KIRO 7 .

The texts show Wilson, who is now facing calls from some locals to be removed from office, and her staff discussing the administration’s slow response, concerns over media coverage, and confusion over how key information was communicated to the public.

In one blunt exchange, a staffer described the fallout as a “massive f**king disaster” and said the episode had dealt a serious “hit to public trust,” as residents criticized the mayor’s handling of the crisis.

The messages also allegedly indicated that Wilson was deeply concerned about how the press would portray her, even as the city was reeling from the violence and suspects remained at large.

‘Matt says that KOMO is broadcasting that I and city council are expected to be there,’ she allegedly wrote.

‘We should consider whether I should come down to talk to KOMO, if that expectation has been created,’ Wilson allegedly said. ‘I’m sure they would love to spin an “absent mayor” story.’

Staffers also went back and forth on the timing of Wilson’s statement, debating whether or not they should wait for the police department to update residents first, according to the texts.

‘It’s f**king embarrassing that SPD [Seattle Police Department] has waited HOURS to put anything out,’ then-Interim Press Secretary Jonah Spangenthal-Lee wrote in a group chat.

Interim Communications Director for the Mayor’s Office, Dawn Schellenberg, replied: ‘Well, we’re not!’

‘It’s good for her to take the lead in acknowledging those impacts and letting everyone know we’ll share more as we learn it,’ Public Safety Advisor Alison Holcomb texted.

‘The mayor’s statement is general and focused on family and community impacts.’

Wilson’s statement at the time incorrectly said there were two suspects in custody, when there was only one.

She was the first person among Seattle’s leadership to release a statement.

Deputy Mayor Brian Surratt caught the mistake, telling staff to ‘please revise.’

Schellenberg and Spangenthal-Lee later discussed the mistake, the latter replied: ‘S**t happens… I’m not really worried about it.’

Her team also discussed in the texts how safe it would be for Wilson to attend the press conference. Initially, she was advised not to go as the suspects were still not in custody.

Wilson did attend the massively delayed press conference around 11pm, but not before her office put out erroneous information about the number of suspects.

The mayor’s office was told more than three hours before leaders addressed the public that the Seattle Center had been ‘contained.’

Governor Bob Ferguson and Congresswoman Pramila Jayapal also arrived at the press conference before Wilson, internal data showed, the outlet reported. The press had been told the hold was due to waiting for ‘dignitaries’ to arrive.

Wilson found out about the shooting almost immediately after it occurred around 6pm on July 27.

Only one suspect has been detained, but police told KIRO 7 that they were ‘closing in’ on two more.

Two weapons were also recovered from the scene, leading authorities to believe the two suspects were shooting at each other.

The unearthed text messages come after locals filed paperwork to have Wilson fired as mayor last month.

Local couple Melinda Jacobson and Dale Osterud filed a recall charge, blasting her for being ‘derelict in her duties for public safety of the city of Seattle.’

The Daily Mail has reached out to the mayor’s office for comment.

Bartiromo Accused of Leaking Internal Messages to White House

0

Maria Bartiromo reportedly shared sensitive internal information about Fox News in the weeks leading up to her sudden exit on Thursday.

According to Oliver Darcy of Status, the prominent news anchor allegedly told White House officials that President Donald Trump’s July primetime remarks about the 2020 election drew limited attention on Fox News because executives had circulated guidance instructing journalists not to lend credibility to his claims.

Bartiromo is also said to have forwarded White House staff the text message she received from Fox Business leadership, a move that reportedly breached the terms of her employment agreement.

Fox News executives later discovered what had happened after receiving a call from the White House, and Bartiromo was taken off the air on August 9, Puck News reported.

Fox Business Cuts Ties with Maria Bartiromo After Controversies

The Fox Business host had already drawn scrutiny for the network after questioning Dominion Voting Systems’ technology and procedures in the aftermath of Trump’s 2020 election defeat. Dominion later sued Fox News over the claims, and the network agreed to pay a $787.5 million settlement in 2023.

At the time she sent the White House the guidance, Bartiromo was also reportedly seeking to pursue a new story related to China and the 2020 election and Trump’s claims of Chinese interference, according to Puck.

Her final show aired on Fox Business on Thursday morning when Cheryl Casone stood in for the host.

Bartiromo’s Fox Business show will now be hosted by a rotating cast of anchors and will be renamed Mornings With Fox Business.

Her other Fox Business show, Maria Bartiromo’s Wall Street, will have her name stripped from it as well, the company said.

‘We thank Maria for her work over the last 12 ½ years and wish her all the best on her next chapter,’ a spokesperson for the network said in a press release on Thursday.

Legal Troubles and $70M Earnings Highlight Bartiromo’s Exit

When asked about the reports suggesting she was ousted after she revealed Fox News’ guidance about Trump’s claims, a spokesperson simply told Status it was a ‘business decision and the release speaks for itself.’

The Daily Mail has also reached out to Fox News and the White House for comment.

But court documents from the 2025 defamation lawsuit against Fox revealed she took in an eyewatering $70 million since joining the network from CNBC in 2014. She joined the latter in 1993 after being hired by then-CNBC President and future Fox exec Roger Ailes.

Ailes resigned from Fox in 2016, after former Fox News host Gretchen Carlson accused him of sexual harassment. Bartiromo became a regular target of criticism around that time, due to her kind coverage of Donald Trump.

Such coverage was vital to the defamation claims made by Dominion Voting Systems, in a different lawsuit that Fox News ended up settling for $787.5 million.

In another lawsuit, filed by Smartmatic, Bartiromo was named as a defendant – the only one still working at the network as of Thursday.

Network Host Faces Heat Over 2020 Election Coverage

Bartiromo allowed false claims about the 2020 presidential election to air in an effort to keep viewers, the lawsuit claimed.

During a broadcast that aired in December 2020, she outright said that an ‘intel source’ told her ‘President Trump did in fact win the election.’

Her lawyers, though, fought back arguing that the lawsuit ‘acknowledges that Bartiromo pressed the President’s lawyers for evidence, repeatedly reminded viewers that the President’s lawyers needed to back up their claims with proof and interviewed guests who were skeptical or dismissive of the claims the President and his legal team were pressing,’ according to Deadline.

They also argued that Smartmatic failed to allege in the lawsuit that Bartiromo engaged in actual malice, which is necessary in proving defamation.

The case is still pending as Smartmatic seeks a trial.

Trump Laments Exit of ‘True Warrior’ Host Amid Press Secretary Rumors

Meanwhile, in June, Bartiromo welcomed a fiery rant from White House trade adviser Peter Navarro that credited former National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease (NIAID) head Anthony Fauci with creating the coronavirus.

President Trump has since lamented her departure from the network.

‘I can’t believe Maria Bartiromo is no longer going to have her great show(s) on Fox News/Business,’ he posted on his Truth Social page Thursday night, saying she had ‘three different shows’ that were ‘always number one.’

‘Maria is a total professional and a true warrior,’ the president continued.

‘Her fans, of which there are many, will not be happy.’

Meanwhile, Vice President JD Vance downplayed rumors that she was in line to replace Karoline Leavitt as the next White House press secretary.

‘I don’t know, man,’ he told a reporter who asked with a laugh. ‘No, I don’t think so.’

Nicola Peltz and Brooklyn Beckham Share PDA at Venice Premiere

0

Nicola Peltz shared a tender red carpet moment with husband Brooklyn Beckham at the 83rd Venice Film Festival, with the couple arriving hand in hand shortly after the actress was honored with the Rising Star Award.

The 31-year-old star turned heads in a vivid cobalt blue Balenciaga couture gown, posing for photographers beside Brooklyn, 27, during the festival screening of It Will Happen Tonight.

After stepping onstage earlier to collect her award, Nicola made another standout appearance as she swept along the Venice Film Festival red carpet in the dramatic design, complete with a veil-like detail and an elegant trailing train.

The gown’s one-shoulder silhouette and bold cut-out accents highlighted her toned frame, while Nicola kept the rest of her styling understated, allowing the couture look to remain the focus.

Brooklyn, meanwhile, looked polished in a classic black tuxedo, smiling proudly as he stood beside his wife for the cameras.

Proving just how proud he was of his love, he planted a sweet kiss on her cheek while protectively wrapping his arm around her waist.

At one point, the former photography student came to Nicola’s rescue as he helped to fix her train, with Brooklyn showing his unwavering support throughout their red carpet appearance.

The loved-up pair’s latest outing comes hours after Nicola accepted her Rising Star award at the Venice Film Festival on Saturday, with husband Brooklyn clasping her tightly by the arm and guiding her with care onto the small podium in the gardens of the Casa Cinema Giovani.

A visibly nervous Nicola wore stunning emerald and diamond drop earrings and an elegant full-length black dress for her moment in the spotlight, and paid tribute to her husband and family who she said ‘are the reason that I can reach to the stars’.

Her proud billionaire father, business leader Nelson Peltz, mother Claudia and brother Bradley were there to watch her, with Nelson fanning himself in the 30-degree heat and at times during the wait retreating inside.

She said: ‘Hi everyone. I am normally more comfortable playing a character as an actor than standing in front of an audience, so please bear with me.

‘Thank you so much for this immense honour. To receive an award at the Venice Film Festival is something I will carry with me for the rest of my career.’

She then addressed her co-star in the film Prima, Faye Dunaway, who was given a lifetime achievement by the Kineo organisation at the same ceremony. ‘Faye you have always been an inspiration to me and learning with you has been incredible.’

She went on: ‘My family are my everything. My mum, dad, (brothers) Diesel and Brad and Brooklyn thank you. You always believe in me. To have your support is the reason I can reach to the stars in the first place.’

There was some chaos before she took to the stage, with her award being announced five times, and one presenter saying: ‘Where is our beautiful star?’

Eventually they were told that she didn’t want to accept the award until Faye Dunaway, 85, was also in place.

Accepting her lifetime achievement award Ms Dunaway said that the best advice she had was the Shakespearean line: ‘To thine own self be true’ and added that she loves Venice. ‘There is no city like it.’

Nicola started in acting in Deck the Halls with Danny DeVito, in 2006, aged 11 and posted a throwback snap on her Instagram earlier this week.

She also appeared in The Last Airbender and Transformers: The Age of Extinction.

More recently she has been writing and producing films through her label, Bunny Films, which is named after her late grandmother and bankrolled partly by her billionaire father, Nelson.

Her last movie was Lola, which did not gain wide distribution and took under $1,000 at the box office.

She has been married since April 2022 to Brooklyn Beckham, the son of David and Victoria, and is at the centre of a family feud which has seen her husband cut off his family in search of ‘peace’, having explained on Instagram in January that they had tried to split him up from his wife.

Nicola has been working on her indie drama Prima since January but the film does not yet have an official release date.

The movie also stars Dunaway, Jack Huston, Mira Sorvino and Betty Gabriel. Luca and Alessandro Morelli, known professionally as the Morelli Brothers, directed the film as their feature debut.

Nicola stars as Margo, a dedicated prima ballerina facing life-altering decisions as modern changes disrupt her ballet company.

The actress and her family attended a private Los Angeles screening in May for the movie, hosted by East West Bank CEO Dominic Ng. Afterwards she thanked supporters and said their backing of independent film meant ‘more than I can express’.

The film has also been in the spotlight after Nicola sparked concern with her drastic weight loss while preparing for her starring role.

Nicola undertook four months of gruelling ballerina training for her role which saw her drop to under 100 pounds (45kg).

Her shock weight loss came in a bid to fully embody her ballerina character – for which she committed to a strict diet and intensive training regimen.

Just this week Nicola’s husband Brooklyn jumped to her defence and warned ‘don’t ever talk about my wife’ in an online row about her weight.

The aspiring chef hit back in the comments section of his latest Instagram cookery tutorial after one follower asked: ‘Do you comment on everyone who is concerned about your wife and how sickly she looks?

‘She puts herself out there, feed her.’

Brooklyn replied: ‘Don’t ever talk about my wife. She’s absolutely beautiful and you should never comment on a woman’s body. It’s disgraceful.’

Jets Week 1 Preview: Familiar Faces in New Places Take Over

0

Week 1 will bring more than a standard Jets-Titans matchup in Nashville. It will also double as a reunion game, with the Jets set to face several familiar names from their own past — and a few former Giants connections as well. New Tennessee head coach Robert Saleh has stocked his roster with players he knows well, while others arrive with ties to Titans offensive coordinator Brian Daboll from his time with the Giants.

The Post’s Zach Braziller previews the key storylines and matchups to watch when the Jets open the season against the Titans:

Protecting Geno against former Jets

Not long ago, Jermaine Johnson II looked like a foundational piece for the Jets’ defense. The former first-round pick broke through with 7.5 sacks in his second NFL season in 2023, but his trajectory changed quickly after he suffered a torn Achilles just two games into the 2024 campaign. In February, the Jets dealt him to Tennessee in a trade for defensive tackle T’Vondre Sweat. Now Johnson, alongside another ex-Jet in John Franklin-Myers, will be aiming to disrupt quarterback Geno Smith in next Sunday’s opener.

That assignment will be far from simple, with the pair expected to test young Jets offensive tackles Armand Membou and Olu Fashanu.

Membou and Fashanu are central to the Jets’ confidence in what they believe can be a sturdy offensive line. Membou, especially, has drawn steady praise throughout the summer after putting together a strong rookie season. Both tackles also bring a measure of familiarity with Johnson, adding another layer of intrigue to one of the opener’s most compelling battles.

Jets against former Giants in the passing game

Two key Titans played for the Giants last season with Daboll: slot receiver Wan’Dale Robinson and No. 2 cornerback Cor’Dale Flott. Ironically, Robinson is likely going to see former Titan Jarvis Brownlee Jr. for much of the day. Brownlee, acquired by the Jets last September, figures to be extra motivated.

Brownlee has said he was hurt by the Titans trading him, especially since the front office didn’t explain the move to him. This will be his first time facing his old team.

The 25-year-old Flott had a career-high 11 passes defensed a year ago for the Giants, and inked a three-year, $45 million deal with the Titans. The Jets figure to test the former third-round pick with their two talented wideouts, Garrett Wilson and Adonai Mitchell. Smith is known to push down the field, and the Jets may prefer to target Flott than the Titans’ top cornerback, Alontae Taylor, who is regarded as one of the better young defensive backs in the NFL.

Bailey debuts against underwhelming opposition

Jets rookie edge rusher David Bailey was one of the stories of training camp, the second overall draft pick out of Texas Tech looking every bit as dominant as projected. When the Jets picked Bailey, the hope was he could elevate a pass rush that was 31st in the league a year ago with a paltry 26 sacks. He could have a big opener. Tennessee’s offensive line is considered below average, and offensive tackles JC Latham and Dan Moore Jr. are not highly regarded.

Latham was ranked 47th among tackles in pass blocking by Pro Football Focus, while Moore was 63rd. The Titans allowed 56 sacks last season, sixth-most in the league.

Jets secondary against Ward

Cam Ward had a shaky rookie year. His 5.9 yards per attempt ranked dead last in the NFL. The Titans added pieces for him in Robinson and first-round pick Carnell Tate, the fourth overall selection. The Jets, meanwhile, made history by becoming the first team to not record a single interception a year ago. The topic won’t go away until they produce in that area. They added veteran safety Minkah Fitzpatrick in free agency to solidify the secondary and also drafted Indiana standout cornerback D’Angelo Ponds, although he hasn’t practiced since the first day of training camp due to a calf injury.

Bruce Campbell Says He Has 5 Years to Live Amid Cancer Fight

Bruce Campbell is opening up about a deeply difficult chapter in his life as he continues to navigate his cancer diagnosis.

Six months after the Evil Dead actor revealed he had been diagnosed with cancer, Campbell shared a sobering update on his outlook, saying doctors have given him about five years to live, “give or take.”

“I’m in a five-year prognosis,” Campbell said during a recent appearance on The Adam Carolla Show. “With the type of cancer that I have, which I don’t want to get into, the current thing is a five-year deal.”

Still, the 68-year-old said he is determined not to let that timeline define how he spends the years ahead.

“It’s a fascinating thing that takes place because [cancer] messes with your head, too. I’ve decided though, pretty specifically, to live with it, not die from it,” he explained. “You can go down a massive rabbit hole. The cancer rabbit hole is enormous. You can go into focus groups of 10,000 guys who have exactly what you have. I won’t touch it with a 10-foot pole.”

Instead, he’s throwing himself into his work, which includes promoting his latest film Ernie & Emma.

MP Joani Reid Separates From Husband Accused of China Spying

0

A Labour MP has separated from her husband, a lobbyist who is alleged to have spied for China, the Scottish Mail on Sunday can reveal.

Joani Reid, who represents East Kilbride and Strathaven, is understood to have split from David Taylor following months of scrutiny around his case.

Mr Taylor was arrested in March on suspicion of espionage.

Ms Reid had also attracted headlines earlier this year after allegations emerged that she behaved inappropriately with two naval officers based at Faslane, the nuclear military base near Helensburgh.

The disclosure about the breakdown of her marriage comes after photographs and videos appeared to show the MP attending events without her wedding ring.

Meanwhile, she is reportedly is in a new relationship with a married man, with the pair pictured going to her flat in her constituency.

Sources close to the couple say they have been separated ‘for some time’ and insisted the split was unrelated to the Met Police’s spying probe or the MP’s alleged flirtations with two naval officers at Faslane.

Her decision to remove her wedding ring is said by close friends to have been ‘one of the most difficult decisions’ the MP had to make.

A source close to the couple said: ‘They’ve split up, it happened a while ago now. Things hadn’t been great between them for quite some time but they have children together so are very much still in each other’s lives.

‘People close to her know what’s going on, and they are looking at a divorce.’

A friend of Ms Reid added: ‘Deciding to remove her wedding ring has been one of the most difficult decisions she’s had to make. It isn’t something she did lightly, but they have separated and she felt she had to do it.’

Ms Reid, the granddaughter of the late trade unionist Jimmy Reid, was photographed with a married man, said to be a ‘high profile Holyrood figure’ going to a flat in her constituency in July, the day before she was readmitted to the Labour party.

They are also said to have met twice last month. Friends claim the relationship had not been going on for long and began after her split from Mr Taylor.

The MP had suspended herself from Labour following her husband’s arrest in March, while the party conducted its own investigation.

But the 40-year-old was readmitted on June 30, and took to social media to announce her reinstatement.

Ms Reid quietly removed her wedding ring on her return to the Labour party, with images on her social media clearly showing her without it.

On June 29, Ms Reid hosted an Armed Forces Day event at the East Kilbride British Legion while wearing the silver ring.

But on trips around the constituency the following month she appeared to be missing the jewellery.

A photograph on July 15 show Ms Reid at a local business without her wedding ring, while another on August 13 she spoke to constituents in East Kilbride town centre again without the accessory.

On August 26 she posted a video in support of Stonehouse by-election candidate Hannah Miller on Instagram, where she is clearly seen not wearing her ring.

The turmoil for Ms Reid comes after her husband’s arrest on March 4 on suspicion of spying for China.

Mr Taylor, 39, was arrested alongside two other Labour-linked men during a probe by counter-terror police.

Officers searched Ms Reid’s home in East Kilbride, as well as properties in London and Cardiff in March and arrested the men. They were subsequently bailed and have not been charged with an offence.

The latest development comes after Ms Reid was alleged to have behaved inappropriately with two naval officers based at Faslane in separate incidents since her election to parliament in 2024.

The MP was claimed to have been drinking during a visit to the nuclear deterrent base as part of the Armed Forces Parliamentary Scheme (AFPS) – which aims to educate MPs about military life – and was said to have behaved inappropriately towards one officer during the trip.

Ms Reid denied any wrongdoing and said the claims had been a political smear.

Separately a nuclear submarine captain stepped back from his role in April after being investigated for his alleged relationship with Ms Reid.

The Royal Navy launched a probe last year in response to claims that the senior military officer – who is married – had been involved in an inappropriate relationship with the MP.

The pair were claimed to have exchanged flirtatious messages, which the MP has denied. An investigation the Royal Navy is reported to have found the officer had not breached any rules.

The incident was re-examined following the arrest of Ms Reid’s husband but the Ministry of Defence was reported to have been confident there was no breach of security.

The captain involved said he had decided to step down for personal reasons and had not left the Royal Navy.

Ms Reid did not want to comment when approached by the Mail on Sunday.

Police Officer Screams After Finding Slain College Student

Newly released police bodycam video captures the harrowing moment an officer discovered a Pennsylvania college freshman bleeding in the back of her car, a scene so disturbing that he screamed when he saw it.

Karoline Heintz, 18, was found fatally stabbed in the trunk of her gray Jeep on August 20 in California, Pennsylvania, roughly 36 miles outside Pittsburgh, according to a criminal complaint reviewed by the Daily Mail.

Heintz, an incoming student-athlete who was expected to play Division II soccer at PennWest University, was allegedly killed by her boyfriend, 18-year-old Royce Moser.

Moser and his mother, 56-year-old Rachel Moser, have both been taken into custody and charged in connection with the suspected killing.

Investigators allege Rachel Moser helped her son dispose of Heintz’s body after he called her and admitted what he had done, according to the complaint. Neither defendant has entered a plea.

But now, chilling police bodycam video obtained by the Daily Mail has revealed the moment officers discovered Heintz in the back of her car that night.

A male officer with the California Borough Police Department searched an area near the California Public Library after Heintz’s parents reported her missing and stated that her Apple AirTag was pinging near the location, the cop said in the clip.

Once he spotted her car, he ran toward it and discovered Heintz’s body, screaming to his partner and into his radio at the top of his lungs: ‘Hey! I need EMS here right now! I got an unconscious female in the back of the car.’

A dispatcher then asked him: ‘Is she breathing?’

‘Negative. I got blood everywhere,’ he frantically replied.

The responding officer then went back to the SUV and shattered the driver’s side window to gain access to the car.

After that, he punched in the trunk window before slightly opening the door and closing it quickly.

Another officer then peered into the car through the broken back window with a flashlight.

The footage showed firefighters and paramedics rushing to the scene. Her father also responded before being brought to the police station by officers.

He said he then had a ‘demon take over’ and told Heintz: ‘Wait I have something for you,’ before going inside the home and grabbing a knife.

Royce then came back to the vehicle and stabbed her in the chest, causing her to fall out of the car, before he dragged her to the back of the vehicle and called his mom about the incident, the complaint read.

The mother and son didn’t initially talk to police about the incident but soon confessed to their role in the killing, prosecutors alleged on Tuesday during a preliminary hearing.

It is unclear how long he and Heintz had been together.

During the hearing, prosecutors presented six witnesses and 32 pieces of evidence that they say prove that the mother and son worked together to kill and get rid of the young woman’s body.

Among the pieces of evidence, there were several images of black knives that appeared to belong to a kitchen set, photos previously obtained by the Daily Mail showed.

Other images captured the pair on home surveillance footage after the incident, and them driving in a blue sedan with what appeared to be blue latex gloves on their hands.

The evidence also documented internet searches and phone history records from Royce’s phone.

At one point, Royce searched: ‘What if a demon controled [sic] yoi [sic] and murder someone,’ the prosecution’s evidence read, among other Google searches.

Royce has been charged with one count of criminal homicide, two counts of tampering or fabricating physical evidence, two counts of abuse of a corpse, and obstructing the law and other government functions, court records stated.

His mother has been charged with tampering with evidence, abuse of a corpse and obstruction. On Tuesday, another count of criminal use of a communications device was tacked on.
