On a sun-drenched Florida road framed by swaying palm trees, Gisele Bündchen and Joaquim Valente appeared to be enjoying a quiet moment of family life.
The Brazilian supermodel looked relaxed during Sunday’s bike ride with Valente, while a toddler believed to be her 19-month-old son sat behind her handlebars.
Bündchen, 46, embraced the warm coastal weather in a sports bra, shorts, visor and sunglasses. Valente, 38, kept his look understated in a black T-shirt and shorts as they cycled through the residential area surrounding their Indian Creek home in Miami. The exclusive enclave sits across the water from the property of her former husband, Tom Brady.
Yet according to an insider who spoke to the Daily Mail, the seemingly carefree outing came as fresh details about Bündchen’s past marriage to the NFL icon brought renewed emotional strain.
The couple’s peaceful ride offered a sharp contrast to the revelations in Brady: An American Story and the Price of Greatness. In an advance look at Lars Anderson’s biography, due to be published on September 29, the author examines the painful breakdown of Brady and Bündchen’s 13-year marriage.
“As much as Tom and Gisele would probably love to leave the difficult parts of their past behind them, they are forever connected through their children — and that makes it impossible to completely escape the history of their relationship,” the insider said.

“He has moved on from the relationship and doesn’t spend much time worrying about what people say because, in his mind, people are always going to talk. He’s learned how to brush off the critics and the endless opinions that come with being Tom Brady.”
The account suggested that the renewed attention has felt more personal for Bündchen, whose priorities now center on her children and her marriage to Valente.
Bündchen and Valente welcomed their first child together in early 2025 and married in December of that year. Since then, the couple has largely kept its life private in the South Florida community.
“For Gisele, though, it hits a much more personal nerve. Her biggest concern isn’t really what people are saying about her — it’s what her children will eventually read, hear or have thrown at them,” the insider said.
Bündchen shares Benjamin, 16, and Vivian, 13, with Brady, 49. The former quarterback is also the father of Jack, 19, whom he shares with actress Bridget Moynahan.

‘She never wants Joaquim to feel like he is playing second fiddle to Tom, or like he is somehow caught in the shadow of a relationship that ended years ago.
‘That is what makes this so difficult for Gisele. No matter how much she wants to move forward, Tom is still part of her life because of their kids, and every new story has the potential to stir up emotions she has worked hard to put behind her.

At the time, Brady – now in his third year of a lucrative ten-year, $375 million contract as an analyst for Fox – had announced his retirement from the NFL. Just 40 days later, he dramatically reversed course, returning to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for his 23rd season.
The divorce of Brady and Bundchen that ultimately came some months later shocked America.
The pair finalized their divorce in October 2022 the same day they filed, ending their 13-year marriage within a matter of hours.
