“Even though she smiles as Peregrine moves closer, it might merely signify embarrassment. A genuine romantic response would involve tilting her head to navigate the barriers posed by her hat and shades,” the expert elaborated.

Meanwhile, Peregrine looks to be much more animated. ‘All the kiss effort is coming from Peregrine,’ Judi said. ‘His feet are splayed and planted and his right hand appears to be gripping Sophie’s upper arm quite firmly as he leans in.’

His head is also tilted at an angle, as he ‘appears to be planting a kiss on her chin or her mouth’. 

The differences can be seen in their holds, too. Sophie’s left arm is held out in ‘what looks like a hug’, while Peregrine is ‘clutching her’.

‘Her own hand doesn’t seem to be touching him at all here,’ the expert continued. ‘It looks like a greeting or farewell ritual where one of them has gone full mouth-kiss while Sophie’s reaction just looks polite.

‘If she is seen to have been tilting her head and reciprocating the hugging with some hand touching in further pics the message might be different but in these photos the effort appears to be one-sided.’

But communication coach Judi James told FEMAIL that the heated exchange is ‘less convincing’ on Sophie’s part. Pictured left, Sophie, and right, Peregrine 

Judi also believes the kiss looks ‘contrived’. ‘This would have to be a very big and important body language statement from Peregrine and Sophie, given her high-profile split from Joe,’ she said.

‘A PDA that is this public and this contrived-looking would normally be seen as some kind of a snub to the ex as in “I’ve moved on” non-verbal statement, but a close examine of Peregrine’s role here and Sophie’s body language responses hint at something rather different.’

The prestigious club hosts the annual Gold Cup, where both Prince William and Prince Harry have played. The Gold Cup is polo’s most prestigious European event.

Peregrine had been dating Princess Maria-Olympia of Greece and Denmark, a 27-year-old model, but it emerged in September that they had gone their separate ways after ‘growing apart’.

DailyMail.com previously obtained court documents revealing that the new custody arrangement that will grant each parent two weeks at a time with their daughters and will allow the girls to travel back and forth between the US and UK.

‘After a productive and successful mediation, we have agreed that the children will spend time equally in loving homes in both the U.S. and the UK,’ Joe and Sophie said in a joint statement.

‘We look forward to being great co-parents,’ the couple added.

While Jonas will get to take the girls on tour with his band The Jonas Brothers, Turner will get to spend Christmas with them in the UK with her family.

Scott Presler, founder of Early Vote Action, delivered a pointed critique of Senate Republicans during a – News Saturday interview. He asserted that the Senate’s Republican majority is not acting swiftly enough on crucial election integrity laws, urging conservative voters to take initiative through primary elections, town hall meetings, voter registration, and grassroots mobilization to influence lawmakers.

In his conversation with – News Saturday host Bradley Jaye, Presler labeled it “very disingenuous” for any senator other than Mike Lee (R-UT), Rick Scott (R-FL), and a select few others to claim they are safeguarding elections. He cited instances where he believes there are illegal aliens on Pennsylvania’s voter rolls who are “actively registered” and voting. Presler warned, “We’re finding them in Michigan and Arizona.” He emphasized, “This is an existential crisis. This is a constitutional crisis.”

Presler highlighted a challenge Republicans face when rallying voter support, questioning how to convince the electorate to back a party that, according to him, controls all three branches of government but fails to fulfill its electoral promises. He asked, “How do I make the case as a conservative activist trying to drum up support for Republicans when, as the majority controlling all three branches of government, we are incapable of delivering the very campaign promises that elected the majority we have today?” Presler further questioned, “How do I make the case to elect Republicans when our Senate majority leadership won’t deliver what 84% of Americans want?”

Despite his critiques, Presler remains committed to his advocacy efforts. “I promise, I’m not going to stop. I’m going to continue,” he affirmed, noting that Early Vote Action will maintain its initiatives in Pennsylvania. He shared that Republicans are just “25,811 active voters from flipping the state,” and contended that “just because the Senate is derelict in its duties doesn’t mean that activists like myself are going to give up the responsibility.”

When questioned about the SAVE America Act, Presler explained that the bill focuses on two components: proof of citizenship and photo voter ID. He assured that current voters would not need to re-register but would be verified through the Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements, or SAVE, database.

Presler said the SAVE database is used in connection with HUD and government housing and asked why it should not also be used for voter registration. “Why are we not using the same database to ensure that only eligible, lawful American citizens are registered to vote, or for SNAP, or for other ‘quote unquote’ entitlements?” he said. Presler argued the system would help “clean the voter rolls” and “ensure that only Americans are voting in our elections.”

Presler said he believes part of the disconnect between Republican senators and voters is that lawmakers are isolated from public sentiment. “There is such a bubble in D.C. that these senators truly need to go out, touch grass, and talk to the voter,” he said. He predicted senators who return home after failing to act would “get a peaceful earful from the American people.”

He also argued that incumbent lawmakers can become too comfortable in office. “They feel invulnerable. They really do. They feel untouchable,” Pressler said, pointing to incumbent lawmakers who lost primary contests as evidence that voters can remove officeholders. “We need to do a better job of being active, engaged voters in our primaries,” he added.

Presler called on dissatisfied Republican donors to use their financial support as leverage, saying lawmakers “care about money and they care about power.” He encouraged listeners to seek WinRed refunds from senators they had donated to, while citing Rick Scott and Mike Lee as exceptions.

Looking ahead to 2028, Pressler singled out Sens. John Thune (R-SD), John Barrasso (R-WY), Tim Scott (R-SC), and James Lankford (R-OK) as senators he said activists should be prepared to challenge. “They need to know if you do not deliver what 84% of Americans want, we are coming for your seats peacefully,” Presler said, adding that activists should be prepared to “take you out” electorally as he said voters had done in Louisiana and Texas.

Presler said one of the most important actions voters can take is to approach their senators directly at town halls and other public events. “How many of you guys show up to town halls?” he asked. “When they’re at fairs and festivals, I want you to peacefully approach them. I want you to go up to them. Why haven’t you delivered for us?”

He rejected the argument that Democrats make election-integrity legislation impossible to pass, listing several procedural approaches he believes Republicans could pursue. “We can nuke the filibuster. We can do a talking filibuster. We can do budget reconciliation 3.0,” Presler said. “I just gave you three viable pathways to give us proof of citizenship and photo voter ID. It’s not good enough to blame the Democrats.”

Presler also argued that Republicans might already have a 60-vote Senate majority had election-integrity legislation been enacted years earlier. He pointed to Mike Rogers’ narrow 2024 loss, what he described as a narrow 2024 loss involving Tammy Baldwin’s Wisconsin seat, as well as losses in Arizona and Nevada, where he said Laxalt lost by 8,000 votes in 2022. “It is disingenuous for any Republican senator to say that we don’t have the votes when we could have the votes had we simply passed election integrity,” he said.

Presler cited figures concerning noncitizen voter registrations as evidence for his concerns, asserting that “6,600 non-citizens” were registered in New Jersey and that 400 voted, before invoking the 2000 presidential election. “Please look me up. Fact check me. Bush v. Gore was decided by 537 votes,” he said. Pressler further claimed there are “250,000 non-citizens on the voter rolls in California, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Nevada.”

“This is a constitutional crisis,” Presler said. “This is the single most important issue the American people care about.” He urged listeners to “get angry peacefully,” attend events, make their voices heard, and tell senators that “you either deliver or we are going to get rid of you.”

Asked what citizens could do beyond attending town halls, Presler emphasized participation in Republican primaries. “I would ask the listener how many of you are registered to vote as a Republican for your primary,” he said, acknowledging that some conservatives may be “disenchanted” with the party but arguing that primary participation is necessary to influence which candidates reach the general election.

“Unless you are voting in primaries, you are allowing for the destruction of our country by not ensuring that we have the most conservative candidate, Senate choice, or member of Congress choice going into the November election,” Presler said. He also called for more voter-registration work, asserting that “30% of our beautiful Christians are not registered to vote” and that “42% of hunters in Pennsylvania” are not registered.

Presler argued that conservatives need to become more aggressive in organizing, while distinguishing that approach from adopting the political left’s ideology or policies. “We must become more like the left in terms of advocacy because they are running circles around us,” he said. Pressler added that he believes there is particular urgency to act while Republicans hold the majority, arguing that “our Senate is not giving the urgency that is required while we have the majority.”

Presler also detailed Early Vote Action’s efforts in Pennsylvania and encouraged – News Saturday listeners nationwide to participate. “I actually don’t even receive a dime from my organization,” he said, adding that he is “very proud” of that.

Presler promoted the Early Vote Action app for Android and iPhone, which he said allows supporters regardless of where they live to text inactive Republican voters in Pennsylvania and encourage them to update their registrations. “If you want to help me flip the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania from blue to red, no matter what state you live in, you can help text inactive voters,” he said.

He asked supporters to send 20 messages per day through the app. “Give me one minute of your time pressing the text button 20 times over once a day using the Early Vote Action app,” Presler said. “That’s something that you can contribute.”

Presler said Early Vote Action also welcomes help from Pennsylvania and neighboring states, including Ohio and Maryland. “We’d love your help,” he said, adding that people from Ohio and Maryland have traveled to Pennsylvania to assist.

Presler said he is “all in” on helping Republicans retain Scott Perry, Ryan McKenzie, and Rob Bresnahan, whom he identified as three members of Congress in Pennsylvania needed to help Republicans keep the House for President Donald Trump and, in his words, “ensure that in 2028 we have the ability to win.” “That is how you can make a national impact, even from Oregon, Washington, California,” Presler said. “Download the Early Vote Action app. Send 20 text messages a day, please.”

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – On a troubling evening, 42-year-old Alexandra Hayes Henry found herself in handcuffs, facing allegations of driving while intoxicated with two children, both under ten, sitting in her car.

The incident unfolded around 8:50 p.m. on August 7 when a concerned caller alerted an Alachua County Sheriff’s Deputy. They claimed Henry staggered out of a local bar and drove off, despite being clearly unfit to take the wheel. The caller decided to shadow the vehicle, relaying real-time updates on her erratic driving to authorities.

A deputy, joining the pursuit near the 8300 block of NW 23rd Avenue, witnessed Henry’s vehicle weave between lanes. The report highlighted how she sporadically slowed down or braked multiple car lengths ahead of a red light, enhancing concerns about her impaired state.

The officer decided to intervene after observing the car cross a solid yellow line. A traffic stop was initiated, bringing the vehicle to a halt in the 4600 block of NW 23rd Avenue, marking the end of Henry’s dangerous and erratic journey.

The deputy reported that when he asked for Henry’s insurance and registration, she repeated her home address several times. The deputy also noted that he could detect a strong odor of alcoholic beverages when he was near her.

The deputy reported that Henry initially refused to perform field sobriety exercises, saying she had a right to speak to her husband, but she eventually allowed the deputy to check her eyes, and he reported that she failed to follow directions multiple times and performed poorly on the Horizontal Gaze Nystagmus test.

After that test, the deputy reported that he informed her that he believed she was under the influence of alcohol and asked if she would like to continue the exercises; she reportedly refused to perform any more exercises.

The deputy arrested Henry, and she reportedly called her husband, who drove to the scene; the deputy reported that her husband asked her how many drinks she’d had, but the deputy could not hear her answer.

Henry allegedly refused consent to perform a breath test, once at the scene and once at the jail.

Henry has been charged with driving under the influence with a person under the age of 18 in the vehicle, refusing a breath test, and child neglect. She has no local criminal history, and Judge Susan Miller-Jones ordered her released on her own recognizance.

At 83 years old, Joe Biden was the nation’s oldest president, and concerns about his age dogged much of his tenure. Renowned Profiler Doubts Authenticity of Nancy Guthrie Ransom Notes, Suggests Botched Burglary Instead

The authenticity of two letters allegedly linked to Nancy Guthrie’s disappearance has perplexed investigators, yet Dr. Kris Mohandie, a forensic psychologist, believes the decision to release them was prudent. By doing so, authorities hope to rekindle public interest and uncover new leads.

Dr. Mohandie expressed skepticism about the credibility of both the ransom note and the subsequent letter, yet emphasized the necessity for law enforcement to pursue every angle. “I don’t think the ransom note is legit, and I don’t think that that letter days later is legitimate — but I think it’s appropriate for law enforcement to investigate it just in case it might be,” he explained to News Media.

He reiterated the importance of keeping an open perspective in the investigation. “A good investigation keeps an open mind,” he stressed. “It really does.”

While some investigators are convinced that the ransom requests are fabricated, others remain hesitant to dismiss them without certainty about Guthrie’s location, as reported by federal law enforcement sources to Fox News and News Media last month.

Early in the case, they appeared to have taken them seriously, with Heith Janke, then the special agent in charge of the FBI’s Phoenix field office, sitting down with Guthrie’s adult children, including “Today” co-host Savannah Guthrie, to record a video response to the first note.

Mohandie also cautioned against treating crime scene details in the first letter as proof its author was involved. Those include references to Guthrie’s Apple Watch and a broken floodlight.

“I don’t make much out of those two details,” he said. “They seem to be details that inadvertently could have gotten to somebody, and so that’s not enough for me to say, this is something only the killer would know.”

Mohandie said the letters also point to an author who appears comfortable with technology, citing references to Bitcoin, email communication and the unusual demand for “$4 million USD” — details he said could help identify whoever wrote the letters, whether they prove to be genuine or a hoax.

“I certainly question the legitimacy of the so-called ransom note in which the individual is sending it to a news outlet, saying this will be a ransom, so on and so forth, talks about we and then breaks into I in terms of pronouns,” Mohandie told News Media. “There are a lot of things wrong with that ransom note, and it raised a lot of questions for me of veracity.”

Mohandie said he also has doubts about the second letter, which claimed Guthrie had “perished” days after the alleged kidnapping. While he said investigators are right to pursue every credible lead, he questioned whether a kidnapper would risk exposing themselves again with an apology or use the word “perished” in place of more common terms.

“I understand why law enforcement needs to investigate these as potential leads, and it is a strategy that has worked,” he said. “You look at Ted Kaczynski and putting that out there on the Unabomber case is what led to it being resolved. So they need to put that out there. Maybe somebody does recognize something unique in these writings.”

Even if the notes are hoaxes, investigators are looking to identify the sender and potentially bring criminal charges, as they did in the case of Derrick Callella, who sent “imposter” ransom demands to the Guthrie family in early February and has already pleaded guilty.

The devil is usually in the details.

However, he added, “the devil is usually in the details.” And while much of the contents of the notes have been publicly known for months, the grammar and punctuation were only available to a select few before the Pima County Sheriff’s Department made them public Friday, July 31.

Mohandie said the surveillance footage released by investigators remains the most significant publicly known piece of evidence, adding that it appears more consistent with a burglary or home invasion than a sophisticated kidnapping plot.

“Unfortunately, I think this case is a simple matter of a burglary gone wrong and then attempts to cover things up,” Mohandie said. “But that’s a hypothesis and good investigators are investigating all hypotheses and following leads, and I think they’re doing their job here.”

The only known suspect, the man who appears in the Nest doorbell video, remains unidentified. According to the FBI, he is roughly 5 feet, 9 inches to 5 feet, 10 inches tall with an average build. He was carrying a black Ozark Trail backpack.
