Rhapsody Of Realities For Today’s MESSAGE:

There’s a call for growth in your walk with God, a call to become stronger, more established and unshakable in the Word, and bold in the demonstration of your faith. That growth doesn’t happen by chance; it comes through deliberate training in the Word.

2 Timothy 3:16 (NIV) says, “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness.” Give yourself to the Word consistently until it shapes your thinking and conditions your responses: “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind…” (Romans 12:2).

The only material given to us by God to build our lives and renew our minds is the Word of God. The Lord Jesus further illustrated this in Luke 6:47-48: “Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like: He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.”

When you give yourself to the Word, you live above circumstances. You’re never moved or flustered by challenges. No matter what happens, you don’t respond in fear but with the Word. You speak to the situation and change it. You exercise dominion. This is why you must fill your heart with the Word, for out of that abundance your mouth will speak.

When the Word saturates your spirit, faith becomes your automatic response. It reminds of one of William Branham’s testimonies. A young man’s body, terribly mangled in a devastating accident, was brought to him. Without panic, he gathered the broken body, commanded it to return to normal, and it did. This is the life you’ve been called to live.

Train yourself in the Word, and fear will have no place in you: “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind” (2 Timothy 1:7). Colossians 3:16 declares, “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly….” With the Word in you, you’ll always act with confidence, dominating circumstances.

PRAYER

Dear Father, I thank you for your Word that builds me and trains me for a life of dominion. Your Word saturates my spirit, producing faith, boldness and victory always. Your Word is fruitful and effectual in me, prevailing over circumstances as I speak it forth, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Open Heaven 2 August 2026 MESSAGE

This statement, ‘A prayerless Christian is a powerless Christian,’ is not a direct quote from the Bible, but I have found it to be very accurate. If you don’t make prayer your lifestyle, you will be too weak to overcome the devil’s temptations when they come. In Matthew 26:41, Jesus told His disciples:

“Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.”

Some people claim that they want to live above temptations, but they always find themselves failing. If you check carefully, many individuals who face this challenge often have a weak prayer life. Even though they desire to live a holy life, they are too weak to withstand the devil’s temptations because they are not prayerful. For example, Peter failed to pray sufficiently at the Garden of Gethsemane, so it was not surprising that he denied Jesus three times after he had claimed that he was willing to die with Him. If Jesus had not prayed for Peter, the devil would have succeeded in sifting him away (Luke 22:31-32, 39-46).

As a Christian, you must gather strength in the place of prayer to remain standing when temptation arises. Proverbs 24:10 says that if you faint in the day of adversity, your strength is small. People who sleep when they ought to pray will faint in the day of adversity because they didn’t build strength in the day of peace. Every human being will face a day of adversity. Jesus faced His at Golgotha, but He was well prepared for it. Before His crucifixion, He prayed intensely to the point that His sweat was as great drops of blood (Luke 22:44). Therefore, when Judas betrayed Him, Peter denied Him, and the other disciples deserted Him, He responded with love and kindness. Even when He was crucified, He asked God to forgive those who crucified Him (Luke 22:34). Only someone who has developed spiritual strength and stamina in the days of peace can respond like Jesus did in the day of adversity.

Beloved, do you know why Apostle Paul urged you to pray without ceasing in 1 Thessalonians 5:17? It is because you have a relentless foe, the devil, who will tempt you without ceasing. However, being a prayerful Christian will give you a constant edge over him and ensure that you are not caught unawares in any way. Like the apostles in Acts 6:4, give yourself continually to prayer. May the Almighty God continue to strengthen you, in Jesus’ name.

Humanity has witnessed incredible feats over the centuries, especially in the fields of science and technology. While these developments have improved the standard of living across the world, it has equally fuelled or, at most, reinforced atheistic and contemptuous dispositions of despisers of God. Some folks, indeed, think that God should completely stay away from the affairs of earthlings. They can boast of transgender surgery that changes sex identity at birth to something that God did not intend, all in an attempt to part ways with Him. Unknown to such warped minds, they are only trying to deform or alter what God has created. The effective way of parting ways with God would have been to create their own man or woman before meddling with their features, but not from the dust of the soil which He created. This is simply impossible!

Our Lord Jesus Christ was unequivocal about man’s grave inability to exist or function without Him. Just as man and his habitat could not have come into existence without Him, so we would always lean on Him, not only for sustenance, but also for survival. We live at the pleasure of God. Our breath comes from Him. Nature, through its atmosphere, land, vegetation, oceans, and rivers, from which we draw what we consume in food, manufacturing, and industry, belongs to Him. The feeble man is humiliatingly overwhelmed by his Creator.

Thus helplessly exposed, man must not be arrogant or presumptuous because of any inventions, whose feats and contraptions are toys as they stand in contrast to the great galactic formations overlooking our planet. We must revere the One Who brought them forth. It’s contemptuous to contemn Him by telling Him we have had enough of Him, and that we can take care of ourselves.

Everyone needs God and His unfailing love and laws more than ever before to deliver them from the trap and deadly consequences of sin. We need more of Christ’s presence to dominate our souls, government structures, homes, schools, public places, and worship centres. We need His peace in a troubled world on the brink of collapse. We need Him also to usher us into the hereafter of eternal joy.

For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith – Romans 1:17

Rhapsody Of Realities For Today’s MESSAGE:

Understand this: the life you’ve been called to live is a life of faith, from beginning to end. Faith isn’t something you switch on when there’s a need; it’s your daily walk. You were born into it. The moment you were born again and became the righteousness of God, you began a life that’s sustained, expressed and advanced by faith. This is your nature.

Some misunderstand what it means to live by faith. It doesn’t mean to sit idle, doing nothing and expecting things to happen. That’s not faith. Faith is active. Faith produces action. Faith responds to the Word.

When the Bible says the just shall live by faith, it means the righteous regulate their lives by the Word of God and not on the basis of sensory perception—what you see, feel, or hear. You look at everything from the standpoint of the Word. That’s living by faith. Your outlook, your choices, your actions are governed by the Word.

Faith compels you to act in line with God’s truth, regardless of circumstances. Also, faith doesn’t exclude responsibility. The Word teaches diligence and productivity. Faith doesn’t make you idle; it makes you effective. It’s the reason James talked about faith and works—corresponding action: “Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone” (James 2:17).

You’re the righteous, and the righteous live by faith. Therefore, keep growing your faith by learning more of God’s Word and putting it to work. The Christian journey is from faith to faith, grace to grace, and from glory to glory. Hallelujah!

PRAYER

Righteous and Holy Father, I thank you for making me your righteousness and for the life of faith you’ve given me. I walk in the light of your Word, making decisions and taking actions based on your truth. My faith produces results; I manifest your glory today, everywhere, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Open Heaven 1 August 2026 MESSAGE

A believer who does not study the Bible regularly will not know the right way to respond to temptations, and hence, will keep falling in and out of sin. I know this because Jesus overcame all the temptations of the devil by quoting the Scriptures (Luke 4:1-12). From our memory verses for today, we see that after faith and salvation, a believer needs to take up the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. Any Christian who does not study his or her Bible regularly is a soldier who is without a sword. The word of God is both a weapon of offence and defence against the temptations the enemy throws at you.

David said in Psalm 119:11:

Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.

The verse above tells us that to overcome sin, a person’s heart must be filled with the word of God; therefore, you must keep studying the word of God and meditating on it at all times. Living according to the word of God sets us apart from the world and makes us sanctified vessels unto God (John 17:17). As you keep studying God’s word and obeying it, you will discover that the things of the world that used to entice you are no longer enticing to you. When the devil comes to offer you those things, you will be able to respond, “It is written,” and he will have to leave you alone for a while. God’s word empowers you to be sensitive to the traps of the devil and overcome them. The more you immerse yourself in God’s word, the more fortified you will become against the devil’s attacks.

Proverbs 1:17 says that it is vain to spread a net in the sight of any bird. Just as a bird will not enter a net that it knows to have been spread to capture and kill it, God’s word will make you sensitive to see the traps of the devil. It is your victory kit over satan’s wiles. Do not neglect your weapon of victory; study your Bible constantly. Know God’s word concerning every aspect of your life so that when the devil tries to deceive you in any area, you will know what has been written about it and be able to use that knowledge to shut him up. At that point, sin will no longer have any power over you.

What would make a loving father to give up on his biological son?

Zedekiah was the reigning king when Jerusalem fell to the Babylonians. He had tried to overrun the invading army of Babylon but his attempt was not approved by God. When the people sought divine help, Jeremiah made it clear to Zedekiah the king, “Thus saith the Lord God of Israel, Behold I will turn back the weapons of war that are in your hands wherewith ye fight the king of Babylon.” In other words, God’s answer was an emphatic ‘no’. Consequently, the two sons of Zedekiah were slaughtered before his eyes by the Babylonians. His own eyes were blinded and in painful humiliation, he was led away in chains to Babylon where he died later in exile.

The underlying spiritual cause of the fall of Judah and Jerusalem was not so much due to the superior military might of Babylon as to the effect of God’s decree against the people because of Manasseh’s sin and Judah’s apostasy. God never excuses unconfessed sin. He Judges and punishes it. There are those with the misguided mind-set that God winks at sin and that grace covers all acts of impropriety. How catastrophically wrong such warped souls are. You can’t ride rough shod over His Son’s painful death on the cross and expect a soft-glove treatment.

Those who repeatedly reject God’s clear reproof and warning, who despise His chastening and correction, run the inevitable risk of excluding themselves from His grace. There is no more plea for mercy when once God’s grace is abused and rejected. God’s love must not be taken for granted. This dispensation of grace does not give license for carelessness and recalcitrant behaviour.

But you shall receive power (ability, efficiency, and might) when the Holy Spirit has come upon you… – Acts 1:8 (AMPC)

Rhapsody Of Realities For Today’s MESSAGE:

To you, Acts 1:8 isn’t a promise any longer but your present reality. The Holy Spirit in you means power in you, divine ability to effect changes and produce results. Therefore, stop looking outward for what is already within. Don’t ask God for power or wait on Him to “do” something about your case; use what you’ve got!

Your words have power. Whatever you say comes to pass (Mark 11:23). Therefore, refuse to live as a victim; you’re full of power: “But truly I am full of power by the spirit of the LORD, and of judgment, and of might…” (Micah 3:8). Become conscious of who you are and the power at work in you and in your behalf.

Consider the testimony of Brother Andrew, a Christian missionary who secretly transported Bibles into communist Eastern Europe and the Soviet bloc during the Cold War. Whenever he was confronted by border officials, he never panicked or prayed out of fear. He often prayed a simple but bold prayer: “Lord, in my luggage I have Scripture I want to take to your children. When you were on earth, you made blind eyes see; now, I pray, make seeing eyes blind.”

The guards looked, yet wouldn’t see the Bibles, and in some cases helped him get them through, into the country. Also, take a cue from Elisha. When his servant trembled at the surrounding army, Elisha didn’t cry, “O God, send power.” His prayer was for his servant’s perception, that the young man’s eyes be opened to see the host of God that shielded them, protecting them from the adversaries.

Stop asking God for what He has already made available. Rather, walk in His truth, in the revelation of your identity and heritage in Christ. Don’t pray as though Heaven is withholding something from you: “Send down power, O Lord; Spirit of the Lord, come down and help me!” No! He already did in Christ. The power of God, in the Holy Spirit, is in you today.

That power works through your acknowledgement and proclamation. You’re not helpless; you’ve been endued with power; use what you’ve got. Speak the Word boldly; enforce your dominion and manifest the glory of God everywhere.

PRAYER

Dear Father, I thank you for the power of the Holy Spirit in me. I walk in the consciousness of this power and speak your Word with boldness, knowing that your ability is working through me. I refuse to live in ignorance or fear; I exercise dominion and manifest your glory in every situation, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Como back in for Chalobah

Como have returned to the negotiating table for Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah.

The Italians are playing a friendly in Portugal on Friday against Famalicao but are continuing to discuss another improved offer for the England centre back.

Their last bid of £25m plus add-ons still fell short of Chelsea’s valuation but they are looking to include further achievable add ons to see if that will suffice.

Talks are expected to continue tomorrow for the 27-year-old.

Celtic manager Martin O’Neill has confirmed Everton have made contact over their interest in right-back Alistair Johnston.

O’Neill said Everton boss David Moyes had called him to warn him the approach was coming.

‘Everton have been in contact. I’m not sure whether there has been a bid in for that one.

‘In fairness, David [Moyes] did call me last weekend to tell me that there would be contact.

‘But I don’t know how far that has progressed, or if it has at all.’

Everton say Canada international Johnston, 27, is one of a number of options they are considering.

Leicester City have signed Swansea City forward Liam Cullen for an undisclosed fee.

The Wales international, who has agreed a three year deal, can play as a centre-forward, attacking midfielder or right winger.

Cullen, 27, said: ‘When this opportunity came about and with the size of the club and the project they’re getting started with now, I thought it was the perfect fit for me.’

Hammers trying to nail down Engels

West Ham are moving ahead on talks for Celtic midfielder Arne Engels.

The 22-year-old was the subject of bids up to £25million from Nottingham Forest in January which Celtic rejected.

West Ham have a long-held interest in the Belgium international and, after sounding out figures over a couple of conversations with the Scottish champions, are pressing to see if agreement can be reached on bringing Engels to London and making him the midfield replacement for Mateus Fernandes.

Despite hints suggesting Sadie Sink tackles the role of Jean Grey in “Spider-Man: Brand New Day,” the revelation remains astonishing with its inclusion of a Grey family mutant. A twist that further intrigues fans is the surprise addition of Jean’s sister into the storyline.

The plot thickens as it is unveiled that Sara Grey, portrayed by Olivia Booth-Ford, possesses the same extraordinary powers as Jean. Her capture by the Department of Damage Control sets off a sequence of events that deeply impacts her younger sister, motivating Jean’s rebellious actions. In a daring move to prevent capture, Sara uses her telepathic abilities to urge Jean to flee, setting Jean on a fervent mission against Damage Control to rescue her sister. Jean clings to a singular lead; a telepathic clue Sara communicates about an enigmatic term, “V-Max.”

Ultimately, Jean’s journey ends in somber realization. “V-Max” turns out to be nothing more than an air vent’s brand marked above a static chair within a Damage Control cell—Sara’s last sight before falling victim to a harrowing mind experiment that leads to her demise. Her bittersweet ending mirrors her comic book narrative, where luck similarly eludes her character.

In weaving Sara Grey into “Spider-Man: Brand New Day,” the creators do not merely conjure fictional relatives for iconic figures. Although differing significantly from her portrayal by Olivia Booth-Ford in the film, Sara exists within the Marvel comic universe, richly expanding the storyline’s dimensions.

In the comics, Sara is an adult with a family of her own. While this implies that her life is at least somewhat more well-adjusted than that of her MCU version — who’s dumped into the foster system with Jean once their mutant powers manifest — her comic book tenure is hardly happy. Her major story arcs include getting kidnapped by the Atlantean villain Attuma, and being abducted and killed by anti-mutant fanatics for her pro-mutant beliefs. 

However, the comics version of Sara eventually returns in “Phoenix” #12, courtesy of a psychic message she sends to Jean. This time, she’s a mutant who can unlock people’s full potential, including latent powers. It turns out that this version of Sara is actually an energy copy of the original, and eventually becomes a divine guide known as Beacon. This incarnation of Sara seems to have influenced the MCU one: The telepathic message that Beacon-Sara sends resembles the V-Max one from “Brand New Day,” and Beacon’s ability to help people engage with their powers resembles the MCU Sara’s role in teaching Jean how to unlock hers. This makes for a memorable character whose memory no doubt motivates Jean along her path at the end of “Spider-Man: Brand New Day.”

Florida Man Faces Outrageous Accusations: 12-Year-Old Allegedly Forced to Eat Food Tainted with Animal Feces

In a deeply disturbing case from Florida, a man allegedly put his stepchildren through what authorities describe as “heinous” abuse, including making one child consume food tainted with animal feces and water containing urine, according to police officials.

The Volusia Sheriff’s Office unleashed a scathing statement on July 24, remarking, “The year’s not over, but this P.O.S. is on track to be Scumbag of the YEAR,” in their released press release. The remark underscores the gravity of the allegations facing the accused.

Identified as William Conner, the man is currently facing serious charges including two counts each of child abuse and child neglect. These charges were confirmed via Volusia County arrest records as reported by Oxygen. The nature of these charges reflects the severity of the accusations against him.

Despite the charges, Conner has publicly denied all allegations. According to a report from WFTV 9, he maintains his innocence amid the growing legal battle.

Law enforcement officials have disclosed that the alleged victims include a 12-year-old boy and a 14-year-old girl. Disturbingly, police reports indicate that Conner primarily targeted the boy, subjecting him to the most severe of his abusive behaviors.

Conner allegedly locked him in a detached laundry room without air conditioning, monitoring him with a camera. The room also allegedly had no running water or bathroom access, forcing the boy to use a bucket as a toilet. 

The boy told police that when he learned his food was contaminated, he vomited, which made Conner laugh. He also alleged Conner hit him with a studded belt, plastic spatulas and electrical cords. 

At times, Conner forced the boy to stay awake all night, and when he fell asleep, used a two-way audio system to “torment” him, police said, adding that the girl was sometimes subjected to the same treatment. 

Conner and another suspect, Samantha Lucas, were arrested July 23 and booked into the Volusia County Branch Jail, where they were soon released on bond. 

“Thank God these kids are free from this abuse today,” authorities wrote in the release. “Without giving too much detail, they’re in a safe environment now.” 

Now, Conner wants to fight the charges. 

He denied withholding food and water from the children—whom he called emotionally troubled—but admitted to putting the boy in the laundry room as a “time out” for misbehavior, according to WFTV 9. 

“We have been doing nothing but trying to get help,” Conner told the outlet. “I’m trying to prove my innocence and get help. I don’t know how I’m supposed to do that.”
